This creates a situation where there is more attendance than La Liga. Teams like Schalke, Hamburg HSV and Köln have huge stadiums and fan bases. At the moment the fight for the top is very competitive and there are only a few points separating the teams.
This means there are some great spots for betting. With only 9 points separating top team Hamburg (42 points) from 10th place Karlsruher SC (33 points) and only a 5-point difference in the top six this is anyone's year to go up to the Bundesliga. The games are competitive and teams go for the win.
