1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Promising ICO Today on: August 09, 2018, 03:35:00 AM
I suggest looking into security tokens like OPP and MENLO.one they do have potentials to get listed as soon as they have finished their ICO. Currently the number of supporters this two projects has is I think huge and would likely be able to hit its soft cap easily.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you invest in ICO in bear market? on: August 09, 2018, 03:32:58 AM
For me I don't care about the bear market, as long as I see potentials on that ICO I invest into them. Everyone here saying investing in ICO right now is very risky, I think it is because they don't do much research before investing. I hope menlo.one will be live soon enough to clear SCAM projects in the ICO marketplace.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling? on: July 21, 2018, 04:58:00 AM
I think it always depends on the team behind the project, if the team is competitive enough they'll be able to shoot back the price of their token or go even higher. Currently, I'm now interested about the menlo.one project because their platform would atleast try to create an ICO marketplace free of fraud and scam project, which I think would be good for investors.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: July 21, 2018, 04:51:14 AM
I would rather buy a token when it enters the big crypto market because it is more secure than buying when the initial coin offer

I think that depends on the investor's perception of the project. If he believe that the project will be successful it doesn't matter when you'll buy their coins. There are few promising ICO's right now which I have invested namely ETOS, Menlo, and EOT. And, I didn't wait for them to get into the exchange to invest my money with because I believe in them.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are going to change our lives? on: June 18, 2018, 07:14:56 AM
For me I think its menlo.one although I don't consider its an altcoin for investment but as a platform. Their goal is to end the fraud in ICO space which would be a good thing both new and old investors, removing fake ICO's and scams will really change our lives.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: June 18, 2018, 07:05:49 AM
The theme of ICOs has definetely lost that 2017 hype as the whole crypto market is in decline. But, in general, I still perceive it pretty positively as the total amount of investment in ICOs is growing.

Yeah, but its due to the price drop of bitcoin I think. In general ICO's are still still blooming right now the trend is to solve current problems we are encountering right now. For example is the scaling problem in token economy. I hope this can be solve by menlo, an ICO that I'm currently following.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you agree? on: April 07, 2018, 10:03:28 AM
I don't think it's necessary for us to see the predictions of these companies or celebrities, because no one can predict the market. Now the market bubble is caused by ICO. Many projects are too high valuation. As long as the market digests FUD, it will rise, which is not predicted.

It is sometimes necessary seeing these type of prediction from known person can give somewhat relief from the bloody market in hopes that it'll be green again. Anyway, prediction is still a prediction and cannot be proved unless we see results.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Starting bounties in 2018 as a newbie on: April 03, 2018, 04:12:47 AM
It is never too late to join bounty programs. But to get a significate amount of stakes in signature campaigns you need to have at least a full member rank, which is - at the current form of the merit system - nearly impossible to reach.

Yeah, this is correct. Specially for the shitposters and spammers. As we can see there's a merit system right now. If you post garbage content then probably you'll not be leveling up and getting higher rank and higher stakes for campaigns.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MERIT, SMERIT : You should and should to get merit on: March 31, 2018, 06:00:02 AM
Thanks, i'm just newbie here and i don't know anything about crptocurrency. So, how i can help other people here, while i just have little knowledge?

Asking legitimate and interesting questions can earn you some merit. Most of the discussions here are boring and is just a duplicate of one another.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy time for ETH from 300$ to below 400$. on: March 31, 2018, 05:17:44 AM
Yeah, I also think about this. If there's a coin that will possible give a good profit after the bear market, its ETH. ETH is down to $400 once the Bull run starts it will reach to $1.5k again.  Cheesy
11  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which marketplace is best for Staking? on: March 02, 2018, 08:01:13 AM
Can anyone suggest me that which marketplace is best for Staking?
Actually it defense on the market that you want and many marketing are the sme prices and some are high price so that you think before youbclicjpk on market for your stakes and other to keep and caring stakes much better to invest properly

WTF is this? I didn't understand any words you have written lousy shitposter.

@OP what marketplace are you talking about? If you mean coins for staking right now, the best option would be to choose from the top 20 coins on coinmarketcap.com they'll give you good ROI for a long term type of investment.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ShapeShift vs. Evercoin on: March 02, 2018, 07:06:32 AM
Give it a time I guess, their project is new and I never heard about them compared to shapeshift which is somewhat have established their reputation. One of the member had pointed that their website is only registered a few days, a scam maybe but let's give it a time.

@OP are you just sticking as an Exchange site or are you planning to have an API's for eccommerce site's just like shapeshift, paybear, and bitpay?
13  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Buying Bitcoin With Skrill on: March 02, 2018, 06:48:51 AM
The site kinda looks shady and filled with typing errors. Those typos make the site look extremely unprofessional. The registration page is sort of buggy.
By the way, who is providing those VCC service? As far as i am aware, Wavecrest holding stopped issuing VCCs.
I Agree. The site also looks shady. May I ask OP how long have you been in service? I'd rather choose shifty, bitpay or paybear. Your site seems a bit poorly constructed.

Of course if they do deliver the product that they promise, they are probably one of the first to offer so many things. However just a tip to OP, not a lot of people will be willing to trust you with their funds unless you escrow funds when trading with them. There is also a risk on your end for accepting up to $2.5k worth of skrill funds without verification, since it could be reversible.

I heard about paybear and they offer multiple cryptocurrency. But the thing is they are only new, I'd say it has more potential than this site though.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I do not think tether is a ponzi scheme or scam. on: February 09, 2018, 05:24:05 AM
Bernie Madoff ran his Ponzi scheme for 25+ years... Just sayin.

Again, no way to prove 100%. But think about it, the Bitfinex CEO is already super rich from just operating one of the largest exchange.
Probably, he has a billion or more in legit money+ cryptos already. Why risk lifetime jail and bounty on your head just to make another billion or two
from printing tether?

Even super rich billionaire will always find ways how to be more richer and its not about because of the money instead its because of the "Fame". As viper had said "History is filled with rich people doing illegal things to get more richer".
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I do not think tether is a ponzi scheme or scam. on: February 08, 2018, 05:22:41 AM
Its not really over exaggerating things. Its basing from the facts and news. In terms of auditing, Tether have called a quit to its auditors thus making them more shady. Trust is the most important thing in crypto and they have broken it.

16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What have you learned in cryptocurrency trading. on: January 27, 2018, 08:54:55 AM
I'd say Forex and Stock Exchange is completely different from cryptocurrency trading. In stocks the movements can be predictable unlike in cryptocurrency where nothing is certain.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is backed by a large financial institution on: January 26, 2018, 12:30:20 PM
LOL. This the very reason why merit system was implemented. To remove shitposting, but they are evolving elongating their posts, copy-pasting without acknowledging the source to make it appealing.

PS. I just got to comment, because I have been seeing this kind of posts where there's no argument just a bunch of wiki-facts that had been copypasted.
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do you without id/passport verification convert crypto to fiat? on: January 25, 2018, 11:19:44 AM
People have been mentioning localbitcoins and a face to face exchange. There is one more option worth considering but it depends on regulations that change from country to country, so check out how it is in your place: you may buy some physical gold, have it delivered to the machine operated byt the courier or post services for an anonymous pick-up (or to any anonymous location if you come up with an idea) and then go and sell it for fiat. It is more troublesome than localbitcoins though.

The advantage is that you end up having some solid gold if you decide not to sell it for fiat but rather save it for later.

Of course, I agree that the whole idea of KYC goes against crypto ideals, but KYC was regulated by governments while crypto ideals were created by the community, so they go different ways, unfortunately.

The main question was to convert crypto to FIAT. It would be hard if you'd be carrying gold around just to buy something. Anyway, P2P are the best option for this, buying from your friends might be helpful as well.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to store some Bitcoins? on: January 24, 2018, 08:43:51 AM
That depends on your strategy. Some of the investors have already save bitcoins before this big correction happened and now waiting for the right price margin where they can sell their coins.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin just a brand? on: January 23, 2018, 08:53:42 AM
Litecoin is faster, monero is more private, ETH has smart contracts and there are much more altcoin with much more features, even Bitcoin Cash is faster than Bitcoin, but BTC keeps rising much faster.
Don't you think it's just because of the name?

Probably, the Price keeps rising is because of its reputation. Investors tries to put their money on the most Reputable investment in Cryptocurrency, also BTC is one of the most (if not) profitable of them all.
