2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO on: July 31, 2018, 07:00:12 AM
I have always believed that investing in ICO is a pretty profitable solution. But in any case there must be sufficient experience in choosing and working with ICO projects.

Just wondering one of the ICO projects I had been following right now have changed their ticker the ICO project is menlo one, before they used the Ticker MET token, but now they are using "ONE", I am confused is this a good or a bad sign for a project? Guys, would love to hear your opinion on this. Thanks
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you choose Altcoin .. ?? on: June 18, 2018, 01:28:20 PM
I choose the bounty given the bounty pool, if the reward is less than $ 100K for social networks, then I do not participate in the bounty

LOL. This thread is not talking about bounty. Anyway, for me I definitely support projects that could bring a good impact whether direct or indirectly contributing to the growth of cryptocurrency. Another thing is the use case scenario of the project, if it has a good "product". An example of this is menlo.one they could really change the current state of ICO investment wherein there are lots of people getting ripped with scams and fraud.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: June 18, 2018, 01:21:27 PM
i want to know what makes the cryprto dangerous? to the point that many countries band the use of crypto in their countries. I want to hear your opinion

anything will become dangerous if people are not using it in proper way but cryptocurrency is not dangerous. Crypto even provides opportunities to people to earn extra income through bounty.

Correct. If people are not cautious anything is dangerous. People shouldn't be afraid of crypto investment as long as they do their due diligence in researching first before investing nothing can harm them. Everything has a risk especially in cryptocurrency. BTW, I've come across this site www.menlo.one, and they are clearly up for this kind of problems the fear in crypto space, the fear of getting scammed. LOL
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good upcoming ICO for 2018 ? on: June 16, 2018, 07:08:15 AM
I suggest you check this site. www.menlo.one

Their telegram group have reached 12000 members and still growing, one thing that have convinced me to join them is that their vision. To lessen those fake ICO that people are getting scammed with their investment. A more safe token economy specially for newbies who are just learning where to invest in cryptocurrency.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: June 15, 2018, 04:09:06 AM
Not exactly I think most of the time successful project don't have any products or services to offer. It is just a matter of marketing their product to get people's awareness. Just take a look of this site for example. www.menlo.one the way they do their coin distribution is by a platform from stox a blockchain based prediction platform.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO pool groups for Accredited Investors on: June 15, 2018, 03:52:42 AM
Take a look on this site.

They're an ICO who aims to launch a guild system based upvote/downvote for all professionals in the cryptoworld. Their aim is to build a strong community of people to protect newbies from getting scammed by those fancy sprouting fake ICO.
8  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Paybear] What do you think of this new website? on: April 10, 2018, 01:02:09 AM
There are few similar projects functioning as gates between crypto and fiat payments for various online stores. I'm sure this service is needed and the adoption of crypto payments will grow.

Yeah, to name a few of them we got Bitpay, ShiftyButton, and Coinbase. Paybear is not the 1st one to offer this kind of service, although it is good to hear this kind of services are being implemented, they are still new in this kind of business.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Crypto Market Without Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 12:56:56 AM
of course, we all see that all markets are red and there are some fears of getting down more and more in the following days. but on the other hand, no one can ignore that bitcoin is the leader of all the crypto market, so if it down the whole market will go down as well, so it is too hard to believe that it will die that easy
and the major investors of it will not allow this to happen.
what do you think, am I right?

You have some points there. The market depends on how bitcoin goes, if its going down all of the coins are affected. Not sure, but I think the whole cryptocurrency would not survive without BTC, it serves as a pillar that once out everything will crumple.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $100,000 for each John McAfee's cryptocurrency tweet on: April 04, 2018, 04:16:37 AM
Well its not a surprise. He owns a superstar status in terms of cryptocurrency just like any other hollywood actors, and its because of the no. of followers he has.
I'm not a fan of him, but the projects he is promoting is really getting a good attention, and its one of the factor in making an ICO successful.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Shouldn't we focus more on Blockchain technology? on: February 10, 2018, 07:46:22 AM
I think Blockchain is more important for us then cryptocurrencis.
Should we not focus more on Blockchain then caring about cryptocurrencis?

As Blockchain is capable of removing centralised system which is the root of many issues the world is facing currently and it also has the capability to empower commoners.

You know what I think? Your missing the point here. What do you mean by caring about cryptocurrency? Do you know that blockchain is also a cryptocurrency?

I think you should direct your rant to the government because they despise the anything that's "decentralized" including cryptos.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wall street will turn ETHER? on: February 09, 2018, 06:24:53 AM
If  Wall Street knew how insecure Ethereum is and how its easy to make mistakes running smart contracts in it, they will drop it like dog shit. Remember the DAO or the Parity "bug"? Yeah, the developers assured everyone they were safe. One was hacked forcing Vitalik Buterin to change the transactions and the other one was incompetency.

Things will improve, I believe. With the cash injection into eth, and a determination of the team behind Ethereum, I believe, the security issues will be sorted. Besides, literally more than a half of the cryptomarket runs on Ethereum - it's not that bad.

Is it really for security purposes, or they just want to get a cut from it? If security issues for sure Devs can handle that easily, but the government is making on its way to somehow take part of the cryptocurrency, IMO.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2018, 07:18:01 AM
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
https://www.bitex.in/a-class-of-indian-media-unnecessarily-damaging-bitcoin-reputation/

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

There had been a number of online scam which run away with investors money. Seeing the huge returns involved with Bitcoins, it also looks suspicious to many. As a result, media tries to make people aware about Bitcoins as well. Only thing is that they need to do more research before coming up with the news as it affects the prices.

Actually, Media only uses Headlines that can easily be sold. Wouldn't it be more sellable if you use a headline "Bitcoin a Scam" than to "The LN and whats the use of it." They tend to use negative news of bitcoin/Crypto because it generates more clicks for the readers.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Genealogy of currency on: January 27, 2018, 10:30:01 AM
As you said every changes suffers scrutiny. All of the currency you have indicated receive tons of hindrance before the community totally accepts it. That will also happen to the cryptocurrency but soon these challenges will be nothing as soon as the mass adoption starts.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin new revolution of finance world. on: January 26, 2018, 02:42:28 PM
It already lived long enough, if your asking if it will continue to stay and grow the answer is YES. Governments are now trying to accept this concept some of them are regulating while others are open to this new technology.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is key for a proper bounty campaign? on: January 25, 2018, 01:11:55 PM
At least you need jr member level.
While getting aktivity you can follow social media campaigns like facebook or twitter.
that's advice from me

No not anymore I guess. There are recent changes made by theymos and sadly only members rank upward can carry Sig campaigns. Or at least carry a link to their Signature which I think most Campaign managers look for.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: question buying eth/ltc with btc on: January 24, 2018, 09:43:48 AM
Doesn't look legit to me at all. Just look at the creation date of the website. Just go to the established and reputable sites.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A bloody day! Should I invest in virtual currency? on: January 23, 2018, 09:59:31 AM
Look at the market that I was so scared! Do not know where to start?

Have you studied how the market goes in the first place? Seeing this "Red Market" is a good opportunity for you to join and invest. Before starting to pour your money into a coin, please manage to study their historical graph.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is HODLINg still valid to make profits on: January 22, 2018, 03:49:23 AM
This recipee could be a thing of the past. Nowdays it may be better to look for opportunities as lots of talent is going into the market. Do you still think of becoming a millionaire by hodling?

For long term investments I think it is still considered as a valid way to make. Long term holding to coins that have potentials can grow your money x100 or x1000, depending on the coin's capability in the market.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market going down? on: January 18, 2018, 09:05:30 AM
I don't say it some but all coins are red. In a forum say it a common something and this new year phenomenon. I only hope it's true and get better back.
Just try to remember what happen last year and you will come to the conclusion that this things which is happening right now has been seen last year,
better to assess carefully and always be patient from doing any decision while the blood market still ongoing, people who can survive this ongoing
downfall will benefits a lots.

Yeah correct. This had also happened last year when the price made a sudden dip and everyone was expecting the bitcoin will crash. Instead of crashing bitcoin had surpassed all the expectation making it more powerful.
