1  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Profit Trailer (Crypto Bot) lifetime license (it's rare now btw) on: May 03, 2018, 02:09:09 AM
ProfitTrailer has Terms of Service that prohibit selling or transferring of licenses.  That makes this offer illegal, and can result in the buyer and seller having repercussions.

If you want a license, you have to purchase them correctly, from ProfitTrailer.

The website is working fine for me.

Trades worked fine just now.
Withdraws working fine.
I hear deposists are still slow, but do not know how long the delays are - not sure if the blockchain.info API is working yet, if the queue is chugging away, or if the deposists are just slowly and manually being processed. Lots of people have been waiting for 12+ hours before they got credited. They HAVE been credited though.

I keep stepping on these END OF THE WORLD signs.  Will y'all please pick up your trash when you scuttle away?

For those of you that KNOW for a FACT this is a scam site, just move on to the next post.

Just to clarify a few things. Maybe the problem is non-native English speakers?
A Problem with the blockchain.info API is not the same thing as a problem with the blockchain. It only impacts sites that use their API to make transactions and get prices, etc. It has nothing to do with the rest of the bitcoin blockchain world.
Why do some sites rely on the blockchain.info API? Because they need an API from someone, or they would have to roll their own code.  Using someone else's API is generally the easier way to go.   Hindsight aside, it usually works well... although I remember a few times when it crapped out in the past. Note that it took a dump for every API user, not just your favorite must-be-a-ponzi site Scrypt.cc.
Why would they shut off trading and chat?  Granted,I would love to see a news update or message box explaining why - but it makes sense to suspend trading while the 1) manually process transactions to clear up the queue and 2) allow the queue to get down to a manageable size so that it doesn't continue to be a problem.   Chat? Well, that trollbox sucks. It eats resources on the trade page, you can watch how much traffic it generates to your browser - imagine how much it generates to 800 at a time, not to mention the work it has to do that doesn't get spewed into the chat box.  Personally I would love it to be gone, or replaced with an IRC window or something.

Trade is working at the moment, deposits are coming in slowly (big queue with all those .001 deposits). My daily withdraw processed, life is sweet.

I think the rewards adjust as required to keep new money flowing in. It has nothing to do with hashing but is just a very quantified con game

There was a 63% drop in rewards early this month.

what was the rate of sales early this month?  Wink

KHS was selling around 1280 before the crash.
It's 866 right now.
Where's the connection?

rate not price to clod.

ROI was around 70 days before the drop.
It's 102 days right now.
It's probably going to be lower then 70 days on June 1.

ok Im not sure if you're are trolling or if you are really a moron.

I said rate of sales.  What was the rate of sales the same time or slightly before the date with rewards dropped.  Matching rate of sales to rate of return could present a correlation.

There are no sales - all KHS sales are currently peer to peer. SCC takes a cut off the top before they pay a reward, but are not presently selling anything.
So - no correlation.  Nice try though.

Since Feb of 2014, I have had people (a lot of the same people) telling me I was playing a Ponzi at Scrypt.cc.   It took me 90 days to get my initial deposit back.  Things were crap at the sit for awhile, but I constantly made some money, and withdrew it on a regular basis.   Starting in December 2014, I was making double my initial investment each month. By withdrawing most of the profit (Income), putting some back in when prices were low (Investing), and playing the market (trading) whenever there is a site problem also racked up enough KHS to more than quadruple my KHS.

I am saying this because no Ponzi in the world would let me actually make money for so long. And the Haters, well they kept saying 'good luck, see what you say in a month'.

Well, its been 15 months. Still happy, still making an income (a rather large one).  I'm happy.  The only people I know that have lost are people that got skittish and bailed out. Or were playing the market - something you can lose at no matter what company you bet on.

I've said it before, and I will say it again: You have to offer proof to make someone/something guilty of something. Proof is not another thread on a Forum, or people making up scam rating system.  If you are nervous about using them, then don't - I would prefer if you stayed away. I appreciate you not trying to save me from your fears, almost as much as I appreciate you not shoving your religion down my throat.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 11, 2015, 01:19:08 AM
Rewards are 100% based on the price of scrypt coins that can be asic-mined (LTC mainly), and whatever Scrypt.cc decides to take out of those rewards, like electricity. If the return drops on those coins, the rewards drop (usually about a 24-48 hour delay before it seems to impact rewards though, which makes sense if they are doing profit switching smartly, rather than just dumping mined coins as quickly as they can).

Your rewards have nothing to do with the trade engine & site, which is solely peer-to-peer trading of KHS, chat, and account reporting. When that system is getting DDOS, or lags for any number of other reasons, you will get delays in deposits, withdrawals and trades... things usually self-correct and catch up, and in the rare instance they don't, 1 simple ticket will usually work. Those problems never have an impact on mining though, since those server addresses are kept confidential. For a reason. I don't think I have ever seen a mining slowdown since Feb 2014 (although there  must have been one or two)

And just what, exactly, makes Scrypt.cc a Ponzi?  I'd love to see some proof that they are, rather than pontifications and mindless guesses. The burden of proof is on the accusation - and I have yet to see any proof.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: March 31, 2015, 01:35:03 PM
So people actually logged into the fake site and used their PIN code too?

Yeah, quite a few people got suckered into it, including a couple that I know of that should have known better.  They were so excited about getting 2FA that they didn't think.

Remember people (old and new alike): Never click a link in an email, unless you were expecting the link. And even then, if you get prompted for any information, don't do it. Always type the correct address for a website yourself.  Wink

I withdraw daily, and have not had any issues. Except for the time I put an email address in as my wallet. Ahem. Ticket filed and they responded within a couple of hours.

What makes you think they don't pay?

So with the problems that seem to be getting fixed for missing or delayed payments is anyone actually getting any payments from them back to your own wallet?

The website shut down? Huh? Did I miss something?

Deposit was confirmed a few minutes after the website shut down. What happened?

I am not going to call anyone names, because it can be easy to fall victim to this shit. But this is a classic phish.
You never, (as in EVER) click on a link in an email, especially an email that is supposed to be from a site where you have financial info/bitcoin/credit cards.
Always (as in ALL THE TIME) type the link yourself, https included.

if you look at the raw messages in that email, you will see the fake link, going to a known phishing site that has been successfully stealing money from scrypt cc users.
In gmail, select the drop-down menu to the upper right of the message, and select show original. Have a look.

This is not Scrypt CC stealing your money (they have it already, why steal it?).

Poor ignorant !! You say I'm a stupid and stupid you are. That is not a Phishing email. You are an ignorant and stupid over thinks I am.
1- I always look at the url of the web where I logeo.
2 If you look the Scrypt.cc without https, ie http.
3- To access my account and withdraw need the PIN.
4- Although you get the PIN, you need to access my email.
5- as clearly seen sending mail support is Scrypt.cc
You want to think I'm stupid. LOL
I have nothing invested, just recall my referral earnings.
You invest a lot !!

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Guide and Giveaway] Cloud Mining PTS with yPool and Digital Ocean on: November 17, 2013, 03:16:11 PM

Just saw it. How much is it to get 4 or 8 cores on Digital Ocean? I like the price of the $5 package, but it's only one core like the Amazon AWS.
[/quote]

I stopped Digital Ocean... Even with the price of PTS hitting $10, it's almost at break event.

Doing AWS spot instances is working ok today... I expect that will also dry up before long though.

Looking forward to a $200 credit though, Thanks Super!

Beeeer Guide is on the 2nd page Smiley

Just a side note: if you are running ubuntu, you need a different lboost library:

apt-get install libboost-chrono1.48-dev libboost-filesystem1.48-dev libboost-system1.48-dev libboost-program-options1.48-dev libboost-thread1.48-dev

Worked great for me.

Thanks for the Beeeeer guide - I just got a droplet up and running (used your referral link), and everything seemed to install correctly.
However, the mining speed is rather slow, I am getting 44.5 c/m, while I get 87 c/m on an Intel 4 core i5 running 3 threads.

It appears that the 8 cpu cloud instance running 8 threads is under-performing.... my lowly desktop is finding collisions at a 5 to 1 ratio over the Digital Ocean server.

Any thoughts?
