current firmware: 2.6.7 TEST
- adding start fan speed for auto-mode - tail option for showing last x rows of log files. - using help screen for sort of change log in the firmware - may be watchdog checking network state. had hung system after network outage, not reachable due to DHCP. can be probably worked around by fixed IP. - scheduling certains mining speeds(voltages) <- will try to implement - individual voltage limits as right now for the back chips <- will consider / note: can be done quite well with max. PSU watts at least per loop - Timezone "bug"? first page graphs are always UTC? <- will consider - enable API in own subnet/net by web interface <- common! change /etc/cgminer.conf.template with ssh it seems to works not straight forward at least not for all - include fan speed in API datasets <- not likely, use remote ssh to change /etc/mg_custom_rate fan speed OUTPUT is obviosly meant - other pool options than failover only <- common! change /etc/cgminer.conf.template with ssh - Graphs on the first webguy page, there should be a button to disable some/all of them. <- you can reset them with a button. Disable them in /etc/cron.d with ssh
- Poll page could be managed on the front page with up&down buttons on each pool - GUI switches to turn off SSH would also be a good thing, plus for advanced users some sort of iptables in the OS for security. <- Use big random password from UI to disable it. Will consider adding iptables.
- true fan speed control by target temp
- change host name in web interface
- sum of PSU(unknown) input watts in addition to DC2DC watts, either on ASIC Stats page or main page, as for estimate of power at wall or PSU efficiency <- will implement in 2.6.7. For sp20 I assume 90% efficiency
- show ASIC Stats
Going to comment on this again - Im tired of changing the API setting via SSH, and on the hundreds of machines ive done, no reason not to have it in the GUI. Fair point, I did want to give you a heads up in case it will help.. I took to building a job manager that automatically scans my network for hosts and plumbs them into my management webapp, can make changes to hundreds of machines in a minute or two.. We have something like that as well- but for lots of customers that want to use something like CryptoGlance, and only has 2-3 machines being able to change it from the GUI would be nice

Have ordered almost half a ton of these cables, they are great and of very good quality.

Did anybody tried to run SP30 more energy efficiently? If yes, care to share the settings and what the energy consumption/hashing speed will result? I have my units in hosting, so cannot play with settings as easily as with SP20 at home.
A few that I tried, the green was the optimal until the recent price drop, now they are all offline, UK electric rates kill any chance of profit Thanks for that, very helpful.

Let us know what you want to see in Spondoolies-Tech's firmware… We are open to suggestions! What do you want to see implemented in our next firmware releases? We want to hear from you, although we cannot make any promises to implement any suggestion, we will try out best to make it work. Post suggestions here in the thread… *We will try our best*
A GUI option to enable/disable API would be amazing. GUI switches to turn off SSH would also be a good thing, plus for advanced users some sort of iptables in the OS for security. Agreed.

You can already run 2 at full speed off the DPS2000, have clocked that PSU up to almost 2500w without issues.

Anyone know if there's a port setting to change in CryptoGlance to get the SP20 info to show up? I'm guessing something is not correct as other manufacturer's machines show up and I've seen screen shots on here of someone having it working.
Have you opened the API port by changing cgminer.conf? if not- SSH into the SP20, /etc/cgminer.conf, change the W:127.0.0.1 to W:0/0 and you should be all set.

Will confirm this unit is hosted with us. Happy to act as escrow.

The keyboard on top of the miner reminds me of the shoe-on head photos.

Salty, if there are enough funds and will, try a flat one (SP31/SP35)! You'll need a 208V/240V circuit being able to deliver ~16Amps constant for optimal performance though. They run on 110V if necessary, with double the Amps, however the hash-rate is a little lower due to heat loss everywhere in the power supply chain. The good part is that the rack version comes with server grade PSUs and you won't need to paperclip anything.
The modified MinePeon interface you liked, is present on ALL miners coming from SPT and the "learning curve" jumping from one version to another is almost like a farmland horizon .. There are only minor changes to the ASIC page depending on the configuration, everything else looking identical.
I'm considering purchasing a SP35, power is indeed my concern. I upgraded a few of my breakers to 40 Amp, but they are still 120V. I'm thinking about converting a few receptacles over to 240V but I'd have to measure my house's total load. I've got a space with two receptacles on two different breakers both with with 40Amps and 120V. Sadly its too near my living space, so I'd have to find a near noiseless solution if I wanted to use that spot. I've got another spot out of the way that is a single receptacle 120V and 40 Amps where I could place some hardware, but I think I might change it to 240V and 20A for situations like these. Whats the approx decibel readout on the SP31/35? Its about as loud as the SP20- but a higher pitch. 80mm vs 120MM fans

It appears there is a bug that affects SP35 PSUs. The PSUs appear to not notify the mining software properly when they encounter trouble (such as overloading), which results in the mining software not reinitializing that PSU. When this happens, one PSU and one hashboard will sit idle until the user manually restarts minergate. Zvisha is aware of this issue now, and will probably have a firmware fix for us soon. If you have received an SP35, I suggest checking on it frequently for the next few days. It might also be a good idea to drop the PSU limits by 50 watts until a fix is released.
Our units have this as well. Can confirm dropping PSU wattage fixes it. There is new experimental FW 2.5.40. In the "settings->advanced" you can set "Restart miner if rate below". You can set it to 3000, and see if this will help you monitor miners from such failures. Dont change the "FPGA serial speed". Trying this now. Edit: Seems to make the SP35s much much more responsive (hashrate speeds up much faster) and we have our units set to autoreboot at 4000.
