ah that might explain it, mine is all stock as a rock clocks lol..... i noticed your useing it on windows 8, how did you get it working without the hugepage file error..... i wanna try it on my 4770k and 4900MQ but i cant get it working stable on win 8.1 *Edit now at 232 at 4.4ghz. dont wanna push it higher in stock air cooler. much appreciated.... You're welcome Did not have hugepages error on YAM(what kind of error), Might be so cos I enabled LargePages (Microsofts version of hugepages) when I first started testing with Wolfs miner. Did it with this : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms190730.aspxAdded administrators to that group and ran the miner as admin ofc. Quite nice clocks for stock cooler And maybe that is why you are a 10% lower on speed (clock to clock) than mine. Other thing is, opening anything, even a web browser, even for a split second takes some perfomance.

Working great on my 3570k, it's a bit faster that claymore's, few percents (263-->275), and what is best, it has lower fee if you want to, default is 4% I think, I'm mining at 2% atm. More links on his official twitter https://twitter.com/yvg1900can you share your config, i have a 3570k and it dont seem to go higher then 164 at 3 threads... thats on win 7. are you useing linux or windows? and how do you even adjust the donation amounts...... Shot taken after a day of gaming, light video editing, surfing etc... On fresh boot, everything that consumes resources closed, it climbs to 275H/s. Can't take a new shot as I'm abroad atm... And fee editing, I think it can't be completely disabled, but adjusted within 2-XX%, not sure if 2% is a minimum, that is the set amount if one removes the &donation-interval=50 from the mining params E: And it is clocked to 4.8, so that might make a make a difference too... (depending of your OC ofc )

I have exactly the same problem. 13.12 drivers, virtual mem to 16GB, W7Pro 64-bit, 16GB RAM, 3 x R9 290 3GB, full watercooling loop. Sofar every version up to and including 2.2 has worked without a hitch?
Does your driver crash? Mouse freeze, etc? no. Shame, it could've been too easy to fix.

3.1 took 20Watts (19%) off GPU core vs 3.0 and maybe few hashes of speed.
E: 3.1 vs 2.2 Speed is up over 20% and power consumption on gpu core is -10% memory power rose 50% thou

Thank you! Boosted my 7950 from 420 to 540!

Bit more in-depth writing, if you take a look

What I've noticed, is that for my 7950 cards best H/s are attained when I set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 80 for all cards (7870,7950,290). Otherwise there is too much video memory allocated for 7950 (some 2.6GB), which results in decreased performance. Optimal value seems to be 1797MB for 7950. Cannot check the values for 7970 as I don't have one.
Confirming this. 7950@1200/1500, windows 8.1, 14.6 drivers and opencl dll's from 13.12 Max percent at 100, around 310h/s Max percent at 80, around 335h/s Good find Aney!

We will have windows client ready at launch time. For other systems, you can compile from the source. Neat-o!
|
|
|
If we don't have the binaries at launch I will chop the whole thread into small pieces and burn them in the fire of hell!, jk

Sorry for the noob question but can I install Vmware on the computer and install the Wallet there and also mine from the wallet (scrypt mining from client?). / An old computer is not an option because u can't mine directly from that computer.
If you have a modern cpu and VMware supports VT-x, cpumining from within a wallet that is inside a virtual machine should be almost as fast as mining from a wallet that isn't in a virtual machine. Gpumining isn't possible from within virtual machine for what I know. I have no idea of the speed of built in miner vs cpuminer-scrypt thou.
