Yesterday I had the opportunity to compile and test the new Pricecoin Source Code.
Because of this, I want to share the new features that will be coming to Pricecoin.

As you all know, our main goal was to change the algo to Scrypt-N. However, this is
not what we ended up implementing. We decided to introduce a newer algorithm known
as allium. Allium uses Scrypt-N and Lyra2rev loops. Those pesky ASICs won't be bothering
us anytime soon soon.

Secondly, instead of just modifying our existing older code, we decided to completely revamp
Pricecoin by updating it to the .16 codebase. The most recent code cryptocurrency's are using.

And finally, the feature I'm most excited to introduce. The new Pricecoin Core will accept the legacy
chain as well. No need for any coin swaps, wallets will merge as expected with no complications(tests still ongoing).

Now, all that being said, we still need to test out the functionality of the new wallet to ensure everything
works properly. The new code will not be pushed to the main github repo yet. If you want to mess around with
the new code and help test it out, it will be under the PricecoinTest repository.

Team was working on Scrypt-N.  Allium now being implemented.

All bickering aside, the coin has no market cap.  NYC is a inflationary coin. I'm a big fan but realistically no investor will ever invest, but maybe buy a few million or a hundred million for gamble.  NYC community is made believe that the 130+ billion coins in circulation does not effect value, well that's just silly.  When a coin is adding a billion per month, any investor knows this is a train wreck waiting to happen.  You would need mass adoption on a huge scale, I applaud the developers for reducing the mining reward, but we have darn near a billion coins waiting to be sold on yobit. Many might call me a hater, I will leave you this article.

It also seems dash use is growing in Venezuela to try and combat inflation.  You can not have a coin with no max supply ever maintain a steady price.  It has been proven over and over in the real world.

Pricecoin is working on a fork to a Asic Resistant Algo.  We believe in our coin, and is grass roots project growing organically. Started by two high school students, it does not get more honest than that.  Zaptive the owner needs some help in programming of the fork.  He is offering 5,000 Pricecoin for the help of the development. I stand behind this coin because there are no lies, just two college students trying to make a honest improvements to the block chain.

The official word has been given on the discord channel, Zach the creator is working on changing the algorithm to asic resistant.  Everyone in the community feels this is a positive change from the dreaded scrypt. We are still looking for developers for this grass roots project, along with new members to help.  Things have slowed down a bit, but the Pricecoin team keeps moving forward.  We have now realized the destruction Asic mining has done to our coin, and hope to welcome fair mining.

Was just looking at the block explorer, and I can't believe it!  Pricecoin is near halving again.  Get your miners roared up because in the next 24 hours our mining rewards are dropping from 1.25 PRCN to .626 PRCN.  I want to thank everyone in our community for all their efforts.  New algo is being discussed to ward off those big ASIC miners.  I believe this is the next big coin for 2018. 

To be honest Zach Price, hence the name Pricecoin has dedicated months on building this coin.  The following is growing by day.  There is no fake name behind it, nor a ill concept of making false promises.  This is a true grass roots project. He has realized that a ASIC mined coins face a tough battle.  His team is working on making Pricecoin ASIC resistant. Like all early stages of coins, we are constantly working on ideas, and especially ideas from the community.  I will keep saying it, when was the last coin you invested in, or time spent wondering who was behind the project.  No secrets or false promises of a huge casino, or any other fluff that is posted daily.

Currently we are on https://biten.trade/  Seems the exchange has little volume..

From my conversations with the team members, they are working on more exchanges.  It can be difficult for a new coin to get accepted to new exchanges, but they are working hard to make it happen.  Many large exchanges want huge fees to get listed.  Do you have any ideas, or exchanges in mind?  We love input from the community, if not already, join us in the discord.

Great post, could have not said it any better myself.  I have been talking to the creator, brilliant, and dedicated to making Pricecoin succeed. He has shared some exciting changes, I will let him share when he feels the time is ready.
