.............. because it doesnt have additional power cables that plug into the card................ there isnt anything for it to read............ SMOS and ESTM.
Have 5 GPUs: 1-Gigabyte 980ti 4-MSI 1050ti
The 1050ti are not displaying sol/w. It's zero on all 4.
How do I fix it?
Thank you
get out of mining since its clearly not for you since you cant even troubleshoot. how bout do some research before coming on here begging for someone to help your ass man when i post things like this my post gets removed because people are pansies. whats the secret!

Good that my whole post got deleted Writing it here again, then.... You would definitely get more ppl using your miner than EWBF's miner, if you reduced the fee to 1% or at least made it configurable with standard fee of 2%, but with configurable range of 1% up. I am not saying you should develop for free, but the fee has to be justified. Who wants to give you 2%, fine, who does not, he can then configure it to 1%, lets say. Makes sense right ? Otherwise, the Sol/s gain you get, using your miner over EWBF's miner + your fee of 2%(while EWBF's fee is configurable and can even be 0% with --fee 0) is just not justified. We gain sol/s, but we lose 2%(sometimes even more as reported elsewhere) on fees. Also the gain using top hardware(1080ti) is very minimal(sometimes null and then you have to count the 2% fee) over EWBF's miner. Maybe you could improve that as well to attract more ppl with top hardware. So, u want more ppl to use your miner? You want me to use it? Then think about what I just suggested. Write your own miner, reduce fee to 1%, and then watch how others will say, 1% is too much, make it 0,5%, you will do that and people will say, disable the dev fee completely, since 0,5% is too much. It is not him who is greedy, it is you actually you and all other people, that ask for reducing fee. Get 1% more for you means almost nothing, if you are not mining on 20+ 1080 Ti, but for him, it would meant a lot. Try do some math... So all of you, stop whining, you won't get rich anyway even with 2% more. And stop being smartasses, to tell the developer what he should do with his miner,... if you really think you know better, make your own, or hire someone who will make one for you. This one is overall fastest and most stable, still actively developed, I guess it is ok to be "more expensive" NO actually i wouldn't and was one of those who pushed Claymore into adding the --nofee flag to his miners and I leave the fee on with CM's miners an don't use the flag ... so the DEV here is being Greedy .. an sometimes you have to make a point, to get something done and if i could code like these guys can i would offer it free an ask for donations but wouldn't require it . so i won't stop whining as you call it when i see a in justice being done to some extent an i don't want it free . I guess I'm what you call a Progressive who believes in helping everyone . you wouldnt what? is that a 2nd account of yours? are you spamming developers pools with bad/false information? holy crap dude get a life and get out!

asus gtx1060 @ 1900 core / 7222 mem / 46% power / v0.5.8
GPU0 42C Sol/s: 268.5 Sol/W: 4.51 Avg: 272.0 I/s: 145.5 Sh: 2.30 0.98 343 +
That doesn't look right for a 1060; I'm getting about 305 Sols/s and 2.9 Sols/W at ~1900 Core and 4200 Mem and 85% TDP for each of my Asus GTX 1060 3GB "white" cards (still working on the core/mem/tdp optimization, but I feel these are decent results right now). looks right to me.....

go ahead, plug em in!

There is nothing weird about it, afterburner it self does not render anything using GPU. Perhaps you are just using a aftermarket card that does include OC in the BIOS from the manufacturer.
GTX Cards have profiles and switching between them changes the way boost and OC works. Simply put, the computation does not trigger a profile used when playing games or using hardware acceleration. Once I trigger the change (for example media player with HW acceleration) the driver does increase clock of the card and enables boost to increase it even more.
I suppose most users use aftermarket cards and those are OC by default in BIOS. I am using reference GTX 980 and the difference is over 200MHz in Core Clock of the card
Well, both my cards are aftermarket one I believe: GTX 1070Ti: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-5671-KRGTX 1060 6GB: http://www.gainward.com/main/vgapro.php?id=990&lang=enBoth needs something else then DSTM miner to trigger Boost or additional OC of the core. I really wonder if I had this problem with EWBF. If not, than it is possible for miner to trigger the correct mode to get full speed. Would be nice if DSTM could look into this. One of my rigs has reference 1080s in it. went and checked, their all running with 3d capabilities right now, i did nothing to the cards. are you running 5.7 or 5.6?

Found the probable reason this has lower scores than the EWBF miner. Turns out it does not trigger 3D mode on your card, which disables OC and Boost. You can replicate that by running Media Player Classic in Enhanced Video Renderer mode and even minimizing the paused video. I got between 30 and 50 extra Sol/s
IDK what your on about, just did a performance test with a 3d app, (put everything on lowest settings) and i dropped 80 sols. To me it looks like it is already using 3d capabilities.

i mean.... i would stop coming here as well if people kept asking questions that don't belong here, or questions like "is this better than XXXXXX miner?"
do some damn research yourself people....

Saw that somewhere else. liked the video. was going to try and find and post myself.

The problem is not "not having a password"
I run fly-pool with no password. no problem. I have the same settings as tropulus (aswell as 3 workers).
But how did you determine the Worker name? Tropulus did without WorkerName..say i have two rigs with same specs, i won't be able to know which one is active or down.. Thanks btw.. This is what i have in mine zm --server us1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user t1SHwi4DJoaCpvPfFmaX8vx7orJo8xufUTL.BigT The worker names can be anything you want. so long as its just numbers and letters, no special characters or spaces.

@dstm
So i have been running your miner for about a week now and have been very happy with it. I love the information you show in it (IE:SOL/W)
However, I have switched to bminer for the time being. Their single gpu perofrmance is great (1080ti 750sol vs 790sol) however their multi gpu performance is... meh (my multi gpu with a random mix of cards is 2600sol vs 2680 sol). I would love to switch back to your miner. If you have made any performance changes (even a little) please release it as I would jump right back to your miner. (hell if you even lowered you dev fee by .5 i would jump right back)
Thanks for your consideration!

Hoping some of these logs/info help some of you out. All cards running on Nvidia 388.59 All cards running on 0.5.7 Mining on Flypool US server The 1080Ti and the 1060 are in my every day gaming rig with decent airflow. the 1080Ti has a back-plate attached. The 1080 is in my wifes computer, decent airflow. The 980Ti is on a test bench and kept in a fairly cool spare bedroom, the new 1080 will be going into my wifes computer and the old founders edition onto the testbench.
ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 TI 11GB +150GPU +500mem 120% power target 100% fan speed 61c AVG 769.9Sol/s 2.71Sol/w Memory appears to help with the hash-rate up to +500, after that the gain is minimal.
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition 8GB +40GPU +300mem 90% power target 90% fan speed 64c AVG 524.6Sol/s 3.25Sol/w
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 AMP Edition 6GB +150GPU +500mem 120% power target 100% fan speed 54c AVG 329.7Sol/s 2.69Sol/w Memory appears to have almost no effect by itself, however at +150GPU and no memory overclock it is unstable, it only becomes stable when I add in the memory overclock.
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB FTW +50GPU +400mem 115% power target 100% fan speed 58c AVG 495.4Sol/s 1.95Sol/w The memory response appears the same as the 1060 whereas it doesn't seem to directly have an influence, but is needed for a stable GPU overclock. For some reason I can no longer adjust the memory overclock.
I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC GAMING ACX 3.0, 8GB on order aswell.
