Can anyone contact the admin for https://pom.m-hash.com/ pool?  I have been locked for weeks, unable to contact anyone there

Did you tried to login last days?

I stopped trying after the first month, but I just tried, and now I can get in.    Is there some way to contact the admins when needed?

You stopped trying, but you continued posting here...

What would your suggestion be?  Should I expect it to magically resolve itself at the 1 month mark?

So does this fix the vulnerability that Victor-Pedophile was screwing us with, or just the problems with the chain from the last week or so?

should we use this chain from now on or is it just for the tests of the new client 1.4.6.1?

The blockchain data posted above can be used for normal operation. For normal use, make sure wallet version is 1.4.5.

The test wallet uses the above chain also, because it undergoes a hard fork at later block #. Normal wallet version 1.4.5 and test version 1.4.6.1 won't interfere each other, and won't pick the opposit chain.

REASON we're doing such a test on mainnet instead of testnet is to mimic real situation and make sure hardfork proceeds as expected, after all final going live without real situation simulation risks further damages. I do see test on mainnet moves slow, and would thus consider a parallel testnet test.

There are a few confusions; so if one isn't aware of the process and difference of test, pls don't run 1.4.6.1.

I just extracted the block chain, deleted the db and block folders, and restarted, but it appears to be downloading all the blocks from the network.  Did I forget something?  I am running the  v1.4.5.3 (64-bit) wallet.

Moved the folders up to the correct path, but now I appear to be missing 84+ XMG!   Huh

Because of the ongoing attack on the MAGI-Network the pool runs constantly into serveral errors. We are going down on 05/10/2018 until the issue is solved by the developer. Please withdraw your coins as soon as possible.

What Pool?

Hi all,
Looking for help reaching coinmagi pool support.
I have been locked out for a week or so, after attempting to change info in my profile, and I am not getting an email from the pool, nor am I able to send one using the contact form on the web page.
Does anyone know an email address for support there?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: March 02, 2018, 04:02:00 PM
Just an FYI, I am done with www.xpoolx.com, too many issues there.  My XMG has disappeared twice, and although they resolved the issue the first time, it was not without raising a stink to get their attention.  This time there has been no response to my support email.
Also yesterday, I was contacted on Slack by a user claiming to show me a 'hack' that enabled him to generate more than his shares, and he claimed xpool was using it against their pool members to keep profits.  I do not claim to understand the 'hack', what it does exactly or how it is used, but I wanted to share the info.  Here is what I saw yesterday on the slack channel:

https://m-pays.slack.com/files/U8QCPHML2/F9F6851EV/grafik.png

Hi Foo_Plinger

I did not receive the email, everyday i'll answer the emails as soon as they arrive. Please resend it and ill solve your problem instantly.

About the hack, i don't know what are you talking about and i dont need to attack other pools cause my pool is very small and im in other league than the large pools. Also i can't view that link cause i need an account and i can't register.

The only hack i know you are talking about is a fake share hack than the users are using on the pools. Some users send fake shares and get more rewards without using computing power but i programmed an algorithm on my pool that detects that users and are instantly banned and shares deleted.

Don't know if it's the same hack as user tell to you.

I don't either, but when I look at xpool, I see that the percentages make no sense to me, all the time.  How does one get 1000% of the actual share?

Hi Foo Plinger.

The explanation is easy. If you take a look at the pool, the hashrate is ridiculously high, that's because the shares are not parsed correctly by the pool. For example, If you make a share of 0.1  the pool interpret it as 100 value share, so the shares are more hight than the spected.

The other thing that cause that's percentages is the diff, difficulty varies a lot and with great jumps, so it's not the same the expected shares for 0.1 difficulty as for 8 diff.

Im working to fix it so when it's fixed the hashrates will become normal. I think in two or three days i'll finish the fix.

hi there. the xpoolx owner is talking out of his ass on bitcointalk

Digger [6:32 PM]

Digger [6:32 PM]

that 940KH/s is generated with a tablet pc (my slowest hasher) and a pc

all together about 90KH/s

do you use linux or windows?

i just restart my miner every 50 seconds

huge problem with xpoolx is, that the started mining at a share rate of 0.1. now its set to 1

still the same problem

and this pool is just set up with miners that does not exist. its all the pool owner

Digger [6:35 PM]

Digger [6:37 PM]

see the high hashrate on mrmeseeks. this high hashrate is also "used" over time by the accounts... patrick762 (the pool owner) alokasi, telferenc, learn2mine, curse53, diegocamilotto, bonskari and badgoes. did watched the pool stats closely the past couple of days

why should one do this? my explanation is to rip off share of your users!

but that is just my opinion

watch the stats yourself. make your own decision

you will also see anomalies like this

Digger [6:41 PM]

Digger [6:42 PM]

pool hashrate wents up a lot. nethashrate stays the same

xpoolx admins contacted me and I got back my 35 xmgs Smiley getting back an xpoolx to do some mining

They have still not responded nor return my measly amount of XMG.

I would suggest staying away from XPOOL.

XpoolX is online since 2015 with constant amount of users. NEVER stealed a single coin, NEVER. You know the mess in the network these days, it corrupted the database and some tables need to refill, we are inserting the transactions manually and compensating the users for the inconveniences we caused. If you did not receive the coins yet, please contact us.

I did contact the admins several times, through the website and email.  I did finally hear back from them after contacting them through this forum, they inserted my coins and gave me an additional one.  My comment merely indicated that i was not hearing back in a timely manner.
I no longer have any qualms using or recommending XPool.

Hi guys,

Another newbie question here.

I started mining on Minerclaim yesterday with my little rpi3 cluster, I can see now some balance as "unconfirmed" in my account, how long it usually takes to confirm the balance inside a pool? I don't know exactly how this "confirmation process works", that's the origin of my questions.

Thanks in advance.
A MagiCoin Block need 520 confirmations to be counted as mature , doesnt matter if generated by pool workers or solo miners

so in short , you must wait untill another 520 blocks were solved

Also depends on the pool, Supernova only takes 120 blocks
of course they can do , but of they own risk and only if they have their wallet backed up with enough supply to pay out in advance  , thats the risky way for a pool

Supernova feeds whales. Won't use them.  Angry

Therein lies the problem.  You won't use them, but the whales will.  As long as ANY pool allows this, then it doesn't matter if you use them or not, or if every other pool enforces limits.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: January 08, 2018, 02:46:14 PM
I was using XpoolX but after the recent upgrade all my coins are gone and my none of my workers are able to connect for 24H. I see other workers online (60-90) but I can't seem to connect. I read somewhere that they said all coins were safe but they never seem to come back to my wallet so I'm not sure.

This makes me want to change pool. Any tips? Preferably where they don't allow whales to mine everything (I run Raspberry Pi's so I can't compete with that). Thanks!

my exact point on the current situation.

theres whales on all the pools and even on the speed limited one and none of the pools are doing anything about it

Hi

For those who have problems with missing coins, pease send me a email at info@xpoolx.com and i'll fix your accounts.

Sorry for inconvenences

Still no reply even though I've sent an e-mail many hours ago. When are you going to resolve all accounts? I'd like my mined coins back.

Anyone get their coins back from XPOOL yet?   I got one email in reply asking for my account #, nothing since then

I did, it was a really small amount tho

Mine is a small amount too, but the way mining is it will take months to get back to that amount, and if you cannot trust a pool to keep the coin safe and respond to requests for help, I suggest avoiding that pool.

I will continue to post negatively about xpool until this is resolved.
