Hi all, does anyone mining QRK and why? I think that QRK is absolutely unprofitable now. I respect that currency, it's the first currency with good profit but that was before 3-6 month. Amount of block was 2048 to 256, now is only 1 QRK per block. Uh, NO. Max is same difficulty or harder to mine and give 91 coins/block instead of Helix's 151. So it is worth about 1/2 of Max. And there is no one promoting it, whereas Max Keiser is huge. So Helix is probably worth .0001 I stopped to mining, it's not profitable for me. too high difficulty for too little time and too cheap price. with r9 290x for 11 hours mining => 13 HXC @ 0.00027 = 0.00351 BTC waste of time. |

Hi all, I found the problem why can not mine scrypt-jane.
The problem is the latest Catalyst 14.
Now I installed 13.12 and I have no problems, no hw errors, accepted shares.
I got about 7 MH/s (1030 mhz cpu core) and 8-8.5 MH/s (1180 mhz cpu core) on my R9 290X.
Now I'm go to mine THOR :p

I'm using the one from op, thorcoinminer it's a rebranded ybcminer i believe....
The pool should make no difference.....check everything for errors as well.

Drop your TC/Worksize/Intensity
I tried Thread Concurrency 8000 to 31000, Worksize 32 to 512, Intensity 7 to 20 and only HW errors. I tried 2-3 pools. Here is my .conf file for 3X 290x.....bring down the tc if you get hw errors(22000?). Play with the mem and engine speed as well if you get it running...I'm 1015/1500 Delete what you need to for 1X or 2X. I added to giveaways in the previous post....200 THOR randomly through thread http://pastebin.com/gxKbPd80What is your miner? CGminer or ybcminer? or other? |

Custom GPU Miner in OP. thorcoinminer.exe -o poolipandport -u poolusername -p poolpassword --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1393167677 I tried this miner and command line and it crashed my windows. I also use the same GPU's and am able to mine with it.
The same thing happens to my miners when the pool i'm logged into doesn't respond. It crashes the miner and ultimately the OS.
If i can ask, what pool are you connecting to? Please make sure you are using the GPU miner that was posted in the ANN post.
