It has been a while I back to forum. It's great to see ewbf back as well. gpu mining is getting hard now

I saw somebody in my community are selling their old RX580 at around 320$. I'm thinking about purchasing some or buy asic miner. Asic mineris quite better now.

Hi DSTM,
Can you please add --PEC option as on EWBF cuda miner.
--pec shows you gpu wat usage as well as sols per watt.
Thank you!
You already have sols per watt, but the power consumption in watts would be nice. What do you think DSTM? ZM will report the power consumption of each GPU in 0.6.1 Nice to know that dstm is going to have new version, especially on watt power monitor, I wait for this for a while already.

I have no experience in HDD mining and never/ever got interested to try it. Btw is burst really that shit? Because on Bitsler (gambling website) there was a massive request to add this coin as another currency for gambling. How much profit do you get on mining storj? And on burst too? Would continue old GPU mining, that's best to my mind.
The profit of mining Burst or Storj is not that much. I quit mining Storj because it seems my HDDs (a lot) were only filled by a bit mb for renting. For mining Burst, adter the difficulty was up last December, each 100 Tb only give me ~6500 Burst if I calculate correctly.

What's your storage size (SDD/HDD) and do you use virtual memory? As I know the size of new version of window 10 is quite large. the page files may be too large so it causes your rig get error.

I joined to mine Burst coin from last December. It's quite interesting as it consumes not much power.

my EVGA 1060 6Gb rigs, mining btw neoscrypt and lyra2rev2 algos, core: +100, mem: +125, power limit 85%, with tpruvot ccminer, intensity 20. It's very stable.
Stable is different from efficient. You could probably do better than those settings. Especially because its an EVGA, things are known to be extra stable. Try upping the mem if you are mining ETH. You are right, the setting I shared above is for neocrypt and lyara2rev2 algoriths, I already tried many tests, and it looks like these settings are the best for me. I dont want to pust my rigs much. Btw, I dont know why you want to use 1060 6gb to mine ETH, why not ZEC or neoscrypt...

Why the hell did they decide to launch GPUs for mining while bitmain is going to release ASIC for them. If bitmain achieve it's goal, then nvidias products will turn from good to worse. Maybe they have another plans too but in any ways currently it's very acceptable. Really want to see what will happen to prices of gtx 1070 and all great gpus, for example rx 580 and others.
I think the problem of ASIC is it could not deal with a massive amounts of memory. But it seems like Bitmain has a team working on samples mining, as I remember few months ago they released GPU miners (sale only in CN) prior to the announcements on X3. And as I read some articles quoted that Bitmain probably made more then Nvidia last year. It looks like crazy times of crypto never end haha.

44 Mh/s it's for people that don't care about energy cost, my p104's do 39 Mh/s at 118w , yours 44Mh/s at 160w
I've just heard that somebody have tested P102-100 and the hashrate is around 47Mh/s. I'm not sure how's it going, but due to the current price of P104, I think I will wait for 20xx series. Yes, I have screenshots supplied directly by a GPU manufacturer showing 47 MH for ETH. Likely over 900 sols/second for ZEC / Equihash. 900 sol/s for Equihash, is it even higher than 1080 Ti?

47Mh/s is not much higher than P104-100. So any info about its price yet?

I mined ZEC by using address in ledger nano, but I have checked a gain, the address was changed there. So is there any problem? It seems like ledger nano will change address after each transaction.

$629 isn't bad considering GTX 1070 is going for $800+.. You people lost all sense, do not give in like the idiots do. Hold strong and buy only when it at msrp price. Do not be an idiot. I am using https://www.nowinstock.net/ to inform me of availability. But honestly I haven't had any success actually buying equipment at MSRP. The cards just get sold WAYYYY too fast. I think another good option is buy some 2nd hand GPUs, the only thing is we need to check these GPUs carefully. In my place, somebody starts selling GPU haha. Not quite that simple. Who knows what's the quality of 2nd hand GPUs. As a buyer, you don't have a peace of mind and run some risk. I would much rather buy new GPUs. Agreed with you, buying 2nd hand GPUs is not that simple. It may work perfectly in the 1st month, but we dont really know the reason why they sold it even the price is just fluctuated a bit.

Of course they're capable for mining. I'm using an i7 7700k for mining Magi coin XMG. But I only could mine after work so about 13hours/day not 24/7 running.

p104-100 can someone recommend MSI afterburner settings for eth & zec? pictures appreciated!
I think he made it very clear on the 1st post. By the way, how much you have pay for P104-100?

p104 4gb 180w 0.75 kh/s cryptonight 1.08 mh/s neoscrypt 39 mh/s eth 524 sol/s
I found a group buy for these today, for about $720 CAD each, minimum order of 6. I guess I'll grab them since there's nothing in stores and my mining expert is very sad with only 6 cards. Thanks for the info here, it helps a lot. The guys buying/selling them are of course noobs and I can't trust their numbers until I found some more here.
neoscrypt: GPU#0:P106-100, 903.79kH/s 106 gives you around 880 kh/s neoscrypt and you get only 128k more from 104 for almost twice the price?!?! sad crap I think P104-100 is optimized for mining ETH only. The local store's selling it with 730$ (in Malaysia) which is more expensive thant 1080 lol.

Have you got the deal yet? and what's the price? With these performance, I think its price may be more than 500$?

My supplier confirmed hashrates announced here. 104 is able to go up to 40Mh/S Eth.
yeah I think the hashrate will be around 39 Mh/s or even better as your quote. But actually I havent got the GPUs as I ordered yet. Our group buy's supplier still in dealing progress with some guys in CN. Any update about price? I even could not make a purchase for GTX 1060 6Gb or Rx580 now. Too many people here want to dig in mining.

In your GPU-Z the info of memory size didnt include. So as the info in some website, it should be 4Gb right?
