1  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is no longer a currency on: December 18, 2017, 12:55:03 PM
I think Bitcoin is not a currency but a payment instrument like Paypal and Western Union. So Bitcoin can be transferred with blockchain technology. Bitcoin is not a fiat currency but a digital payment system.

Much more a store of value in theory and a highly speculative asset in practice right now i guess. As transaction methods lighter currencies as lumen or even litecoin are more practical.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: When the market cap hits 1,000,000,000,000, what will be the BitCoin Price? on: December 18, 2017, 12:31:44 PM
It can be something in the range between 25.000 and 40.000, unless of course some new currency skyrockets to be the next big thing. Maybe some fee-less, fast, energy saver currency, but at this regime such a market cap is probable to occour soon as many as it's probable for the situation to stay the same.

I think we accustom ourself too quick about new prices ranges, bitcoin proved it can be very volatile, It still can be an option.
