Try just

Code:
./vanitygen -i 1jerodev

Yea, but I would like to do some other stuff with this server too.
It is a server on wich I connect via ssh.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me.

Is there a parameter for vanitygen to stop it from outputting stuff to the console?
I want it to run on the background of my ubuntu server, so I use './vanitygen -i 1jerodev &', but it keeps sending things to the console and it is verry anoying.

Thanks for helping,
Jerodev.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / looking for some information on asic mining on: August 22, 2013, 09:50:42 PM
Hi everybody, I am Jerodev from Belgium.
I have been mining bitcoins for a few years now, not constantly, and know pretty well how it works. Smiley

At the moment I have a bit of trouble with the ASIC mining devices because I can't get them to work...
If someone could help me with this? I want to mine using my ASIC erupter but dissable all mining using my computer hardware. I have been told bfgminer is the best tool to do this, but I can't find how to configure this...

If anyone could be so kind to help me with this?

Thank you in advance,
Jerodev Smiley
