Is it possible to get a full transaction history since we first registered?

Hey Pie, if you PM us your account information we can help you out.

Are there any considerations of just adding this to the site in the future? We can obviously all keep our own records, but it would be easier if it was on the site.

So, can I interpret this as: the change was made specifically for me? only because I always win (bit, and legit).  I'm somehow disappointed.

Was there really any question it wasn't made specifically for you? You could take it as a compliment.

I am not saying you win 20 btc and you have to wait 5 mins before you could bet again I am thinking is smaller waits.  I am saying maybe the max would be close to a minute or 2, but I am going with the max bet being a lot higher then the 75-80BTC that we are currently at now.  I am just thinking about giving  people some time to react to a big swing happening.  Its not fair to investors if the big whale is betting quicker than an investor can react to.  The length of time of the risk seems to me a bit longer for the investor than the better.

Why should the investor have an edge over the better? Isn't an investor a better himself?

I'm quite tempted to just give up on this whole thing.  It looks like the site is simply at nakowa's mercy.  He's promised me in the past that he won't play any more, but never sticks to his word.  So what do I do?  Continue to let the investors take these horrific losses?

He is going to continue to play and has even said he tried to quit, but can't. 99% of people would do the same since it is basically like printing money. I think investors can make their own decisions, and you are not responsible for their losses, but at the end of the day you are responsible for your business and reducing your own individual risk.

I know the majority of people on here don't like or respect towtoad/Nakowa/or whatever he wants his name to be, but I think you do have to respect his winnings. Doing it once or twice might have been luck, but it appears he has found a way to consistently beat the game and that is not going to change any time soon IMO.

Hey there everyone,

As usually things that work out are not cheap or simply easy to access, meaning as good at it sounds the result is not what you want from this guy. So if still wondering if this guys is for real or not, i can tell you he is not or then just conveniently disappeared from the face of earth when delivery was supposed to happen.

In short, he is 99% sure scam.

Let us know if this works out. I communicated with GambleDev on and off for a week or two about a site idea (he was always quick to respond), but he hasn't responded to my latest email confirming the address I should send his payment to. The wait has been 5 days, which could be explained by him fixing the other site, but that's obviously not great customer service and something to think about if you ever need technical help from him after your site is made.

That said, I don't think this is a scam since he would be quick to confirm the address and receive my money, but I could be wrong. I'm going to wait and see the other responses on here, but I'll also provide an update if I hear back from him and try to make the site.

This is a great idea, and your fundraising is impressive. Best of luck on your journey!

Here's what I don't get.

What if someone buys like .5 btc, then waits 30 days, and dies an instant buy of 50 btc and diesnt pay?

Seems open for people to kill the company.

You have to link your bank account, so I think the instant buy would get declined if there aren't enough funds in your account to complete the transaction. They aren't going to give you BTC before they get their money.

I am so upset with coinbase at the moment. After waiting five days for the bitcoins to get processed, with 1 hour to go, I get an email that the transaction was cancelled due to high risk. It just so happens that bitcoin price surged $8. This is unacceptable in my opinion, I have also emailed about this and am still awaiting response. Now I am forced to place a new order at a higher price and hoping this one does not get cancelled too. I would think twice before using this service. My cancelled transaction # was A0WYIHD9

Send them a support request and complain.  That definitely sucks, but they've freely admitted that it's an automated system and it makes mistakes.  That's not excusing them for it, just saying that it happens.

Also, when I bought my bitcoins from Coinbase, the price went up at least $10 from when I placed the order and when it came through, and they still honored the order.  Just FYI - there is more going up than just the price going up, although that may well be part of it.

Yeah, hopefully you didn't place a new order at a higher price as they will honor the original price. BTC was up a little over $20 when they corrected my original canceled order. Also don't expect a quick response to your email. They are working to improve customer service, but it is currently pretty slow.

Does "sorry we can't accept this bet right now" mean there's a bug, you're performing site maintenance, you're updating game lines, or what? Thanks.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2013 College Football Picks/Talk - uvwvj on: August 30, 2013, 06:48:08 PM
Maybe it's because the college season just started last night and people don't want to bet on pre-season NFL, but it's interesting to see the lack of discussion about football bets on these boards.

I like your picks so far, but personally I like to stay away from parlays. Good luck.

Thanks to Olaf, my order was processed tonight at my original purchase price of $100.28/BTC. I think they are an honest company and are trying to correct their errors, it's just currently taking longer than most of us would like. Improving customer service and response times seem to be a priority though, so I think they're a good wallet option and seem to have quality merchant options.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has anyone else tried Coinbase lately? on: August 29, 2013, 10:55:24 AM
I've been using them for quite a while. Nothing but good things to say. I think their customer service is pretty good too.

Have they solved the problem since you've posted this?

No, I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I just received a generic automated response saying "Thank you for submitting your request. We have received your request and are working on responding to you as soon as possible. If you have any additional information to add to this case, please reply to this email."

I emailed them on the 22nd, so they are at least a week behind in responding to customer complaints.

It should also be noted to anyone reading this that they did refund my canceled order extremely quickly. Coinbase is one of the better options out there IMO and are backed by major investors and experienced/respected people, but they just need to improve their verification process and customer support.

Olaf from Coinbase here.

Sorry for the trouble with the cancelled transaction! We use machine learning algorithms to determine risk, and sometimes normal users are falsely flagged. Email support [at] coinbase.com and I'll review your account.

Thanks. I actually emailed that 5 days ago and finally got a response last night saying "... we have received your request and are working on responding to you as soon as possible ...." I like what you guys are building and hope to use your merchant tools, but I'm wondering if you are also going to hire more customer support soon? I'm trying to be as patient as possible, and I'm sure you're receiving 100's of emails, but the slow response time is definitely frustrating.

Yeah, it seems a little weird that it takes so long on your first deposit. They say it is to verify your information and reduce fraud, and you'll receive instant deposits after that. No clue if that is true or not, or if they just steal your money for a couple of days to buy and sell more bitcoins. Thanks for the information on Local Bitcoins. I will check it out.

Has anyone else tried Coinbase? After waiting 5 days to get my order processed, I got an email saying that it had been canceled because I'm a "high risk," which is comical. The site seems to have potential, but it's currently not well organized or run.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Has anyone else tried Coinbase lately? on: August 23, 2013, 12:03:08 AM
I'm interested to get people's opinions on Coinbase.com. I've seen varying reviews regarding Coinbase, but thought I would give it a try because of its "simplicity" and options for merchants. After waiting 5 days for my order to be processed, I got an email saying that my order had been canceled, which is apparently an old problem that hasn't been fixed. Other old problems seem to be not responding to emails or refunding canceled orders in a timely manner, but I cannot confirm or deny that since my order was only canceled this morning. They say they've raised over $6 million from investors, but apparently they haven't spent any of that on order processing or customer service.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do You Think The Price of Bitcoins Will Go Down To $5.00? on: August 22, 2013, 11:40:40 PM
It could eventually go down to $5 if governments police it more and put limitations on the exchanges, gambling sites, etc. that drive interest. Eventually the novelty would wear off if that happened, and the costs would outweigh the advantages.
