1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have been scammed in pancackeswap telegram group on: December 19, 2021, 06:21:44 AM
Dear community. Has this also happened to anyone? I was trying to connect my trust wallet to  pancackeswap but it return error every time. Then I went to pancackeswap website and clicked a link to their telegram group and joined. I immediately received a phone call and I explained my problem. I was sent a link to troubleshoot the problem: www.app.walletimports.com and followed the procedure. I didn't know it was stealing my secret  key because I believed that pancackeswap is a reputable company. They stole my 0.055 BNB. Be careful with that telegram group.
It is really strange. Nobody can steal your money until you share your seed phrase or sign the transaction that allows to spend your money. Actually, if you connect your wallet to a reliable web-site, everything must be OK if this web-site is not hacked, so make sure that you tried to connect exactly to this web-site https://pancakeswap.finance/ as there are a lot of scammers who create similar web-sites and then cheat people.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guide me to choose right token on: December 17, 2021, 11:55:17 AM
The only project that I am familiar with is Lazio. Binance has become the main sponsor of Italian soccer club Lazio. The deal is for two years, with the possibility of an extension for another year. The value of the partnership agreement is estimated at around 30 million euros.
The Binance brand will be on the front of Lazio's jersey and in all major events. LAZIO is a fan token and it was listed on Binance and was trading around x23 from the Binance Launchpad price. CZ commented on the listing:  "In the first 15 minutes of trading, LAZIO generated $150mn in trading volume. 22x of the listing price and a capitalization of almost $1bn. A new chapter has started, fan tokens." Actually, I am not in favor of such kinds of tokens, as they are supported only by hype and fans.

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 11 years without Satoshi on: December 16, 2021, 03:50:54 AM
My point of view is that it is good that we don't know who Satoshi is. Look at Ethereum, we know who its founder is and actually, he can influence the price. If there is something wrong with Vitalik Buterin, ETH will fall, so I think that it is better when there is no influencer. Bitcoin is more decentralized and there is no a person who can manipulate the price.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This December is a weird one on: December 12, 2021, 05:11:21 AM
I see that this december is obviously red. Personally I don't care about this as I am a long-term investor and when it is a dip, I will buy. One thing that I really don't like is that some platforms where I do yield farming also experience user churn so their native tokens are falling so my pairs native token-another coin are in drawdown, but I hope that they will recover then.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to invest in 2022 on: December 12, 2021, 05:03:30 AM
I would rather add some other mainstream coins to your list. My long-term portfolio includes Matic, Solana and Near apart from tokens you have named. I do believe in their potential as I see that they develop very rapidly and their ecosystem is catching up with Ethereum's step by step. They overtake Ethereum in speed and commissions so they must be successful.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unknown Tokens on my wallet? Growing.fi on: December 12, 2021, 04:59:37 AM
After your accounts have become non-zero, different scams will come to you there. Do not go to these sites and do not install any of these tokens on your metamask and don't connect your wallet to their sites. No one under the guise of an airdrop will send you thousands of dollars for free. Personally I use Debank and I see hundreds of fishing tokens in my wallet and scammers maintain the price of the token so that their victim see a big profit.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar Cost Averaging Question on: December 11, 2021, 03:39:12 AM
If I wanted to buy $1,400 of bitcoin every week, should I buy $200 a day or should I buy the $1,400 every week?

Any options will be greatly appreciated.

In terms of price, you will not guess in what moment of the week it will be the most favourable, so the only thing that you will regulate by buying in one day or every day is fees that you spend. If you buy just paying for transaction fees, it is better to buy 1400$ straightaway as you need to pay a fixed fee no matter how big your transaction is. Nevertheless, if you use a centralized exchange where you have to pay, for example, 1% from the whole sum, it doesn't matter for you what way to choose.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Squid Game scam creators buy $125M worth of SHIB turning into Shiba Inu whales on: December 11, 2021, 03:32:42 AM
Actually, Shiba Inu is building a strong community and is going to create its own metaverse, so actually, this investment is not very unreasonable. What is more, I know that they have earned much more on their scam and they didn't invest the whole sum in Shiba, so apparently they will diversify their money between different projects.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP: Hacked Wallet on: December 11, 2021, 03:28:21 AM
As for now, you can't do anything as you wallet has already been hacked. You can't write to support team and ask for refunding, it is impossible. I wonder what kind of transaction you signed. If it was the transaction that allowed this web-site to spend your tokens, it is important to set a limit so that this webs-site is able to use only the sum of money that you want to use on it.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2021, 03:47:21 AM
Actually, there are ways that can help you to stay anonymous, but it will require a lot of effort, accuracy and it may become more expensive. You can use mixers and some private chains such as Monero. I know that even these technologies are not a guarantee as for now, but it least it will help to be more anonymous. What comes to KYC, I go around it, so I use exchanges and platforms that don't require it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats wrong with btc on: December 10, 2021, 03:41:59 AM
Its a second day and btc not moving.
What are other coins who do daily moves at least 10-20%
Bitcoin have proofed that its useful only to be market indicator but soon it will lose this position also if its not moving you cant use it as market moving indicator anymore.

If those things about btc not going to get any better then dark future wait for btc.
People move there where money is flowing good example is safe moon ...yes its funny project but at least ordinary people have improved their financial situation.

But yeaah traders knows soon btc not even good as market indicator and eth no better its also not moving.
If bitcoin doesn't move it means that there is a flat and nothing significant is happening so as to make Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies pump or dump.
I don't think that Bitcoin is likely to lose its position soon. Just look at its massive adoption. People trust Bitcoin, they use it not only as investment, but also as a means of payment, so I think that it becomes more and more popular.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Q:Why isn't the Shocking Ethereum Fees discussed more in Media? A:... on: December 10, 2021, 03:37:42 AM
I believe because most 'Investors' in the space that have just arrived from Wall Street or Sherwood Forest are buying and selling nominal Ethereum on the Exchanges without ever performing an onchain action. Ethereum is utterly broken and 2.0 may never come.

Do you think this is a fair appraisal?
Actually no, such high gas fees are unjustified. I saw Ethereum's updated roadmap and I know that gas fees will be reduced as well as there will be code chunking. What is more, different rollups and layers 2 help Ethereum a lot so I think that we are moving in a right direction and this problem will be solved somehow: maybe by switching to Proof of Stake, maybe due to development of rollups and layers 2.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse - Wait a minute? on: December 06, 2021, 02:36:36 AM
It seems to me that this is too loud a name for projects that want to rise to the top under this slogan, the metaverse must be something connected with VR reality so that players plunge into the world in a new way, and I see many projects talking loudly about it, but do not correspond to this term, maybe I want a lot, but still this is my subjective opinion.
Yeah, I imagine the metaverse the same way when you can dive into this alternative reality and investigate it, interact with things and other people. Actually, no project has reached this yet, but there are a lot of them which are working on it, so I think that it will be available soon. On the other hand, decentraland, for example, has already had its world were you can find advertisement of different companies, organise appointments and just investigate.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good metaverse tokens. on: December 05, 2021, 06:05:11 AM
Shiba Inu is going to have a metaverse. Lead Developer of Shiba Inu called "SHIB" as the future of games. The developer announced that soon Shiba Inu Games will implement its first project in the form of a decentralized metaverse. He also said that the project has signed a deal with a top game studio ( the details and the name of the studio will be disclosed later).
I found this news on Tuesday and the price of SHIB reacted with growth to this news immediately.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRC20 USDT transaction stuck in FAIL-OUT OF ENERGY state on: December 05, 2021, 05:48:23 AM
The fee_limit shows the value of the total energy that you can tolerate at most for this transaction. If the amount of energy consumed by the transaction running exceeds the fee_limit*energy unit price, contract execution will be stopped and an OUT_OF_ENERGY error will be triggered. You can set this fee_limit field as an upper limit so as not to face the same problem next time.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sent UST to a USDT ERC20 exchange address. How to recover? on: December 05, 2021, 05:38:57 AM
I am really sorry about this. Please remember that if you send tokens that are not supported on this chain or exchange (project) you will just lose them. And you can return them only when this token appears on it. If it was a wrong standart, there is no way to you to recover it. As support team didn't manage to help you, I think that you will not recover your money, please be careful next time Sad
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much are the fees in Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2021, 04:18:04 AM
Actually, there was an update on the 14th of November. The Taproot update was aimed at reducing fees, increasing privacy and expanding bitcoin smart contracts.According to statistics, transaction fees in the bitcoin network have fallen by more than 50% since January 2021.The average fee decreased from $4.4 to $1.8. Apart from transaction fees you have to pay wallet commissions that vary from wallet to wallet.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any easier way to get coins and tokens on their day one launch? on: December 04, 2021, 04:06:20 AM
To all crypto investors out there is there any way to get information on projects before they list on even coinmarketcap and coingecko most especially projects with fair launch, I believe this way one will easily become one of the early investors rather than investing after the coins have surge
There is a folder on coinmarket cap where you can get to know about different upcoming projects. You can participate in airdrops or invest in ICOs. One good platform with qualitative projects is Coinlist where you can buy on presale. But the thing is that you have to increase karma and be very active or have a vast of accounts so as to get an opportunity to have an allocation.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: New COVID strain may affect crypto valuation on: December 02, 2021, 03:35:09 AM
I am observing today something similar to what happened in 2020 but at a micro-scale. The announcement of a new COVID variant that may be resistant to current vaccines has sent the Dow and the S&P down the drain, particularly airlines and other travel hospitality linked business. Zoom stocks are up, mining and raw materials down,... It looks like a repetition also in bitcoin price with a plunge that may be ongoing.

For those of you that are newer on hodling, just calm down, this is nothing new, bitcoin will be there tomorrow and, likely, rebounding after the initial collapse caused by the stop-loss orders triggering of the first days.
I follow the strategy of investing exactly at the moment when other people are scared. When there is a drawdown, many people start selling, but long-term investors should be strong and be ready to buy more on a dip if they really believe in what that hold. Bitcoin has already overcome many drawdowns and it has always recovered, also I know that it has already has a value as it is used in many financial operations, so I continue holding.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are some government officials like saying what they don't understand on: December 02, 2021, 03:28:54 AM
I absolutely agree with you. Bitcoin has a lot of advantages over fiat money. First of all, it is not prone to inflation. It has a limit and nobody can create more Bitcoin than 21.000.000 while fiat money can be released in large quantities and, as a result, they devalue. Secondly, Bitcoin is under the control of public, while fiat is controlled by the government.
