1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech launches a new line of ASIC miners - Best W/GH/s ratio on: March 31, 2014, 01:49:29 PM
You can play around with mining $$$ numbers here: https://tradeblock.com/mining/

Another one I like as well...

http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php

With the price drop (therefore increasing amount of BTC to purchase ANY miner) it is impossible almost impossible to find any calculator that shows buying ANY mining gear (not singling out ST here) will be profitable (i.e., you will earn more BTC than you paid).

That is really a shame as I SO wanted to get some of their miners but cannot rationalize the expense  Angry

Why not just buy btc? lol?

I have purchased some.  Not nearly as interesting as mining, though.
you have to be able to thing beyond today.......

1) you buy BTC you have BTC

2) you buy a miner in about 5-6 weeks you have the same BTC and the ability to make more BTC if the price goes up or the difficulity goes down. Thats why these farms are rigging powerful mining units. Equiptment will be paid for and it will cost hardly anything to let it sit. However when the BTC price shoots up they can crank out milions of $$. Run your calculator at 2000 or 5000 BTC and see what you get.

Just last year we saw BTC go from 100 to 1250................ in todays world that would be like going from 500 to 5000 in a month!!!!!

These are definitely HashFast Chips and the Board might be a clone manufactured by someone else , As HashFast Guys do provide PCB board schematics to buyers of Only Chips .
So maybe , Ken ordered Chips long back and then he was provided with the schematics of the board , and when the chips arrived , He just applied them on the self manufactured ''clone'' board .

WoW your a genius!! Guess what, Ken has done it again! Put us in an equitable position and we now have boards and are selling them!! good job!!

Ken, the fact that you simply won't point your phone at one of these miners mining and record a little video screams that you are just trying to scam people. Why are you having so much trouble understanding this? Until you provide some form of evidence, due to all the lies you have told in the past, you ARE a scammer trying to rip people off.

It's this simple Ken. You either provide evidence or you remain a scammer.

Are these hashfast chips/boards?

The boxes indicate that they are the "prospectors" (from the website they are 512GH/s costing $2999)

but they will never be profitable: https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/eda9b0bf10

On top of this, you have the questionable trustworthiness of VMC as a company to deal with.

even if they were giving these out for free, I'd still question if it was worth all the hassle dealing with their BS.

looks like you cannot predict BTC or the difficulty............Oh looks like you were just speculating too......... try using 850 btc maybe its more realistic. its about mine and hold. Marketshare of BTC not ROI

FYI,
I got my refund cleared by the bank.

All in all, they could be trying hard and failing as a business. The PR sucks big time, and they just may have good intentions with bad business practice.

I'll be happy to prove that they have failed deliberately to benefit themselves.  I know it sounds backwards, but the secret word is salary.  They didn't spend a dime on what they were supposed to.

Ok then, please prove it.

Looks like some facts are skewed by the masses again. It is verified that eAsic is contracted and taped out on the chipset for this project. Look at the press releases on their website. I have worked in the Silicon world for a great deal of time............. one thing is for sure!  If you don't pay the $$ they dont unlock the door and let you in! so if no money was spent on the projects and they took more than peanuts for salary then they didn't get eAsic's name on the project!

And I know the starting Salary in Silicon Valley for chip engineering, development and such starts at Two hundred and fifty thousand dollars..........

...
Seriously, I think it's better to press Ken more to consider compensating the investors, other than push him to relist and try to pass the shares to others. No one will buy them under current situations.

ROFL Cheesy

That's some Intellihash thinking right there.  As the shares become worthless, Ken refunds all the money.

Looks like everyone is on the same page! I on the other think that i get tired of hearing a bunch of guys that rallied on a sketchy crypto currency and formed a company to wander into a business of making ASIC chips for a unsecure market like Bitcoin Mining. Looks to me like people want to micro manage a group that are doing the best they can with what they have to work with......

You buy machines they give your money back. You invest you Risk Making MONEY........... Guess what You invest you Risk loosing money!

Now what is nice is most people like myself who invested in unsecured sketchy Bitcoin Mining Stock Trading sites like Bitfunder probably did so with what amounts to a $300 investment in a GPU that yielded some bitcoin that miraculously appreciated because of its existance in the Virtual World!!

Good Job Ken!! make me some money!! Or at least give it a Shot!!!!!!   Blah Blah Blah to all the critics out there that are Scrooge!!!!

So much fun to watch everyone that has no life whatsoever! How can people create so much white noise, Ken this Ken that.....

I PM ken and just found out he was getting mexican food for lunch on friday. Wonder what he is doing on monday? Obviously no one has ever worked in an environment that you actually had to work on stuff. I think if we don't see the production run on the miners from VMC we should go back and point fingers at every millisecond of time pointless people took PM'ing ken and WASTING his time!!

You go ken. I have been following this closely and you guys are doing a super job! Cant wait to see the results!!

Funny a whole community of people with nothing to do than sit around and bash someones effort and business! There are numerous company's that have promised and not delivered. Standard investment return is around 10% per year respectively I think that any of the mfg companies out there are doing a commendable job and working on the process quite well. How about if you don't have something nice to say SHUT UP! if you want to say it HOP in your car, plane or ship and go visit a company and if you have something to say....... Do it TO THEM because saying it here doesnt get anything accomplished and is very childish!!!!!!!
