1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum Mining on: December 19, 2017, 06:38:37 AM
Hi guys!

The Electroneum mining software is fucking broken. I've submitted over 5 million hashes, and I've only received 53 Electroneum, which I can't cash out (minimum payout 100 ETN). After a day of mining, it said that I had 800+ shares, but when I check on the Electroneum site, it hasn't gone up a single ETN?!!?! This makes me crazy since I see people getting payments of 1000+ ETN every minute!! And in my pool (EU), it says that the hash rate is 1.45 MH/s and next to it it says "Electroneum Pool Network" and that's got 70 MH/s?!?!? How do I join that pool? It's so fucking unfair because I don't even receive any coins, no matter what and how hard I try. Many others also have this issue, and it's pissing me off. Is there something wrong with my software, or my pool? I'm using the Electroneum Pool Miner V1.1 BETA, the EU pool region, and 3333 mining port.

Thanks, n0c4

Hi

Warning about Electroneum. Stay out of it, is my recommendation.

Today started to mine Electroneum also. At first, everything looked normal on etn.nanopool.org. I have 2* Rx Vega 56 cards mining and XMR-Stak shows about 3200hs total which is normal for cryptonite. Also the pool dashboard showed normal hashrates around 3200 for a while (I know that pool dashboards can never be very accurate). But suddenly the hashrate started to drop and its now about 1800 on the pool dahsboard, but on my miner still stable 3200. So half of the hashes are going somewhere? I have mined many months Monero on a same pool (nanopool.org) and with Monero havn't had any problems. I really know that the pool dashboard can sometimes show 30% more or about 30% less what you are actually mining, but this is stable -50% with electroneum.
So I guess this electroneum thing is a scam, it must have someone to manipulate it. I will go back to Monero even it is starting to get too difficult.
