1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] CoinPoker: Poker future is today! on: January 18, 2018, 08:15:00 PM
Interesting project, especially when you consider that many crypto-traders came into market from poker! The actuality will definitely be used, I really do not mind to play Holdem, interesting format for any crypto currency. Thus, playing on promising coins you can win much more in the future)) Interesting to see GAS war, everyone will put on 200 000 gas?)))) Well at gas should be restricted, I remember in one ICO dude put gas in 10 thousand dollars and did not get)  Huh Huh Roll Eyes

What really interests me is the idea of a crypto currency that attains enough usage that other casinos and poker rooms can switch to it entirely.  Since the main method for stopping online poker in the US is by banning banks from transferring money to or from casinos/poker rooms, if a casino or poker room can eliminate accepting fiat or credit cards completely, they can essentially the the US government to go fk itself.

So, if I get on the whitelist, and I want to purchase with LTC, what is the minimum?  Is it 1 LTC?  Or is it 5 LTC?  Or will the amount be set some point in the future?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Blitzpredict ICO question on: December 27, 2017, 04:27:52 PM
I was looking over the upcoming ICOs and saw Blitzpredict.  If I understand the concept correctly, the aim is to consolidate sports betting line data in one spot so that bettors can get a grasp on all the available lines and make the smartest choice.  Now, having placed a couple sports bets in the past, I can see this being extremely useful, even if the the marketplace of users is limited.

Has anyone paid attention to how coins that fit the "small but useful" archtype have fared over time?  I want to think this should be successful, but I don't have enough funds to go nuts on a bunch of stuff, I'm still at the "throw a little money at it" stage instead of full fledged investing.
