Hey everyone-

I'm looking at what resources I do have to offer, since I haven't been able to put much time towards IFC. I think I can offer something very substantial for the community, but first I want to go over things I perceive as needed for IFC to grow in the US.

First off, we need miners. The auto-faucet is a great short-term solution for an incentive. Any ideas on how we can incentivise mining for the long term?

We need devs. Unfortunately, no one in my personal network seemed interested. However, if someone here is willing to spearhead the hunt for a dev team, I can provide valuable resources towards that.

Finally, we need to get listed on a major US exchange. Here's Poloniex's statement on getting a coin listed.

Here's what I can offer. I have access to an audience of about 350,000 monthly users, of which about 40% are US-based. The audience is primarily gamers, though there's a lot of overlap with with technology interests (including development and cryptocurrencies). This platform drives traffic to Discord communities.

So here is it. If someone or a team will take care of managing a Discord server/community, I can help it grow rapidly and bring a lot more attention to IFC.

I have spoken to a someone and they are willing to manage the Discord server/community I will post it once he creates it and gets it setup. He also said he can have two other moderators.

Okay, great. Key times to start promoting the community at the 15th and 1st of each month, so it would be great if we had this ready by this Monday. Send me a DM for details about how the traffic driving platform works.

why do we keep going on about attracting miners?

we need to simply fork a good coin

pivx, or some other up to date good pos coin and coin swap from this old relic to the new code base.

Okay, that would work too. We need to attract devs then

if we need to do all this why is the price going up?

IFC is showing signs of life (especially in China). Improving the coin will allow for more widespread adoption, especially if we can get it accepted on more major exchanges. Right now, if we boosted the US community, most people wouldn't know how they could actually buy any IFC

I got 1.4 million IFC does anyone want them? This coin is dead. I cannot even sync the wallet.

You can send them to the auto-faucet: i86R5mEaP7SFGfuGhzvzguuRH4c98AefzQ. Or see about getting your wallet file to almightyruler. Finally, I'd happily take them, but I don't want to be seen as greedy

We also need to update CMC with the circulating supply information. It is equal to total supply, I know, but CMC will require a live link to the current supply. Where can I get this info to update CMC?

How are things going with this? If needed, I can create a live endpoint for the total supply once I've got a node running.

I have sent you 50000 coins, which is my personal action, worth 75 CNY, and we work together for the infinitecoin.

Thank you for that, I just noticed that my script was reporting a higher balance, so I came here to find out who donated.  Smiley

I have to do some more testing and tidying up of the script, but I think it should be possible to run this on multiple servers. With enough diversity it will be just like the network itself is rewarding 100 IFC every block.

Who else is running an IFC daemon on a unix server?

This is an example of how the auto-faucet works:

https://prohashing.com/explorer/Infinitecoin/e601a4a74393085c9ab4332ead24532515fa2694ebdb6d267d952bcde52e9694/

#1 (faucet transaction)
- 10,000 IFC sent back to own address (plus 100 IFC fee)
- 0.01963149 IFC change

#2 (coinbase reward)
- 0.00000011 IFC native block reward (dust)
- 100 IFC faucet fee

Total miner reward: 100.00000011 IFC

I'm not clear on how this works. My understanding is we'd want one faucet transaction per block, so I'm not sure how running the script on multiple servers will help. I'm planning to spin up a VPS and run the IFC daemon on it, just let me know how I can help
