1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Blue Fury Support Thread. on: November 13, 2013, 02:58:57 AM
Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks to all that helped me getting the BlueFury's working. I got it working on the PC (Win8.1x64) and Minepeon.

Also now that it is working. After running a sample run for 10 minutes there are a load of errors. Is this normal or do I have defective miners?

Here is a screenshot.

Thanks.

I disagree in regard to running -S bigpic:all.  I am running my single BF with bfgminer 3.5.1, with the 'alfa driver' provided by Beastlymac, through a batch file called #MINE.bat on Win7 64, the content of this batch file is
bfgminer.exe -S bigpic:all -o [pool url] -u [user name] -p [password]

You can use -S bigpic:all as long as you don't also have USB Block Erupters.  As has been discussed before, using -S bigpic:all will screw up erupters, and using -S erupter:all will screw up BFs.

Thanks Norby! I was trying to say that. I hope everything worked out for you Lou!

BTW G'morning all

Hi,

I got the driver installed on Win8.1 but none of the Blue Fury's are showing up in bfgminer 3.5.1 on my PC or MinePeon 0.24rc2(with git pull). Does anyone know what commands I should use to get them all to show. I have 4 of them on 2 usb hubs(2 each hub). I have tried plugging into USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports and a no go for both. Anyone have any ideas? I would prefer to use them on Minepeon.

This is what i'm using below for Minepeon.

Code:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 10
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/bfgminer -S bitfury:/dev/ttyACM0 -S bitfury:/dev/ttyACM1 -S bitfury:/dev/ttyACM3 -S bitfury:/dev/ttyAMA0 -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf

This is the list of the devices listed using "ls /dev/tty*

Thanks.

Hi all,

I am running Windows 8.1 x64 and bfgminer 3.5.1 but I cannot get the computer to install the driver. I have included screenshots.

I followed the directions at the beginning of this thread. Can anyone provide me with any assistance?

It is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

It looks like the computer recognizes them. I dont see the yellow triangle. Do they say what com port they are on? If not watch the video on how to install the drivers.......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUtcah8iSNE

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I did watch that video and I can't get past the digital signature error. I don't think it is installed it doesn't have a driver nor a COM port assigned. I have attached additional Screenshots.

Also here is the code I am using.
<bfgminer-3.5.1-win64\bfgminer.exe -o http://stratum.xxxx -u xxxx -p xxxx -G -S "BF1:all">

5  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy #1] BPMC Blue Fury Miner - $130 or Less / Multi-Crypto / Intl Ship on: October 02, 2013, 12:38:55 PM
Hi,

I ordered 2 orders of 2xBPMC Blue Fury Miners. I selected USPS shipping. Are tracking numbers available once shipped?

Thank you.

Yes. We use Stamps.com for order fulfillment, and they typically post the tracking number to you. If by some reason they are not made available to you via your E-mail address, PM me as soon as the batch ships so I can get you the number.

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Just wondering where will you be shipping the items from so I have an idea how long it will take to get to me?

Thanks.

Well in terms of your offline wallet i think it is anonymous but if your talking about online wallets and moving bitcoins, cashing them, buying items with them then you lose that anonymity.

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is GPU mining pretty much dead? on: August 29, 2013, 06:41:40 AM
I tried to mine using my GPU it was doing on average 190-199 mh/s. It was making my room hot and probably damaging my computer. Fan was running at 85% all the time.

I recently got an ASIC Erupter miner which is going 333 mh/s and with low power usage and low heat as long as i keep the USB fan on it. I think this is the ASIC era going forward.

Hi. I use coinbase. I haven't had any issues with them. Their support is amazing. Although due to high influx of support emails it can take a while to receive a response but they are generally good. Its great to see them expanding.

In my opinion i don't think so. There are too many digital bread crumbs when moving bitcoins around especially when trying to withdraw them for cash.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wait for 2months for a BFL 5GH/s or buy Erupters now? on: August 29, 2013, 05:03:36 AM
It may be beneficial to buy bitcoins low and sell when their higher. The wait time for BFL products is ridiculous considering how often the difficulty increases. Also the Erupters aren't enough hashing power to make any real dent in bitcoin mining.

If you got $14k laying around check out cointerra. Supposedly they are coming out with a new ASIC machine shipping out in December.

Hi,

This is what's on blockchain. You would need the email address you were using. Unless someone else has a solution.
