Is there a script for a “rig offline” telegram notification that I’m missing? The telegram messages are awesome, but would be good to know if it powers down and stay down.
If system is going to be rebooted you will get notified from script that send the reboot command (watchdog or temp control), but if your rig freeze there is nothing to do. You can set up an external watchdog like an RPi to check your rigs ping and ssh port and send you message if they were unreachable. Hi About this, does nvOC use the linux kernel watchdog ?

Just saw the new KTccminer version 8.18. KT ccminer i way faster than SPccminer on neoscrypt at least ....
be carreful about ktccminer 8.18, while fast for neoscrypt it doesn't work for lyra2v2

Guys, can you make a version of nvOC with Nvidia driver 384.90, because this is the last version of driver to work correctly with power limit for 1050ti?
You can just apply the latest updates yourself. This command should patch your Ubuntu installation: sudo -- sh -c 'apt-get update; apt-get upgrade -y; apt-get dist-upgrade -y; apt-get autoremove -y; apt-get autoclean -y
Edit: If you do this, be sure to shutdown the nvOC processes (watchdog in particular) properly or else you run the risk of having the machine reboot in the middle of applying patches. For nvOC 19-2.0, the command to stop everything is: Thanks. This is fine for upgrading the version but if i understand it right it's look like he want to downgrade. warning, make a backup, if something go wrong you could be unable to boot. ./nvOC stop sudo apt-get install nvidia-384
Then reboot

Obviously you are able to choose a folder path. Arguing about not creating a folder ? Seriously ? I'm not writing this OS , I'm using it
The whole point of the few instructions I wrote is to not overwriting the original distribution file and to not overwrite the compiled version when updating
this will be the end for me about this, you don't like it don't use it. if you are a moderator remove it if you want, or ask someone to do it Regards

Just saw the new KTccminer version 8.18. KT ccminer i way faster than SPccminer on neoscrypt at least You can compile it, it's realy easy In /home/m1 mkdir KTccminer-818 cd KTccminer-818 wget https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/archive/windows.zip unzip windows.zip cd ccminer-windows ./build.sh mv ccminer ../
Then change the path to your new /home/m1/KTccminer-818/ccminer for neoscrypt coin in 0miner For all other scripts, you must name folder KTccminer. Nothing else like 8.17 or 8.18. I find it very good to suggest things or improvements, but not everyone can bring their method every time without becoming a real long-term mess. Do what you want on your personal miner, no problem, but adapt your commands to the convention already proposed online please The last arrivals adapt. We all did it. You will do it too. It's easier for everyone and easier to manage It's a namming convention that facilitating all readings. does it bring more hashing this version to the fact? There is no versionning for KTccminer so feel free to place it wherever you want

OK adding a coin, but how is profitable to mine DSR ? And i want to tell all that unimining.net had some saturation on neoscrypt pools. I tried to mine GBX at this pool and they can't provide me any blocks to mine. in additions : 1/ I'm not sure that all of us have a folder named KTccminer-817 in /home/m1 2/ I think there is a "typing error" in the command line -o stratum+tcp://$DSR_POOL:$DRS_PORT must be -o stratum+tcp://$DSR_POOL:$DSR_PORT You have to be more precise an readable in your post. You can post a modification understandable and easy to do without being a computer scientist or a computer technician. This system is named "easy to use" for reminder. Thanks for adding. You 're right sorry for the typo, A patch is the easiest way to do the modification, you don't even need to know where to put the lines in the patched file. just do patch -p0 < file_with_the_patch fastest than anything KTccminer 817 was posted few days ago here by Papampi I don't know if this coin is profitable, I just want to mine some so made the modification and shared.

Sorry I think I don't understand. My point is that some ccminer variant installed with nvOC should work on NeoScrypt. It's look like one of the best is ccminer from KlausT, which is installed by default. But it crash with NeoScrypt. I tried lowering the intensity but still don't work.
Maybee I have a problem with my install, I will try to redo the image.
I compiled ccminer from tpruvot on a centOS so I don't think it will work on nvOC. Will check
thanks
I just checked and latest Klaust is 8.17 and the one included in 19-2.0 is 8.15 I will compile and an update for it. Klaust 8.17 change log: fix possible problem with high intensities fix bug in -d option (numbers > 9 are working now) fix Linux build P.S: Do you have cuda 9.1 installed? Hi, So you were right from the start. The main problem was with the intensity. I messed up with intensity between ccminer version. I compiled the cuda 8 version of KlausT ccminer on nvoc and it's working good with intensity set to 17. On SP version i can go up to 21. But my compiled version of TPruvot (cuda 9) work with this intensity setting and the version from nvOC don't. I need to check the buildin version of KlausT with lower intensity. Thanks again for you help

Actually I get it to work on another installation. I compiled ccminer from tpruvot ( cuda 9 branch) and I get better result even without overcloking the card I'm going to compile KlausT version to test.
That's exactly what I'm saying Better or worse hash rate are in miners not in nvOC versions. Please upload and post link of your compiled miners so others can use them too. Hi all,
I have trying nvOC this week and I learnt lot's of things with this distrib. Thanks
I installed v0019-1.4 with 2.0 community update. Is it good ? For now I'm trying to work on neoscrypt currencies but all version of ccminer except SPccminer crash on some cuda function call. Unfortunately it's look like SPccminer is 20% slower than KTccminer.
Is there a good working version of nvOC for neoscrypt algo ?
Many Thanks
There is no better version for some algo, new versions change stability scripts and update miners ccminer crash is usually because of high intensity, try to play with it and find sweet spot for your card Actually I get it to work on another installation. I compiled ccminer from tpruvot ( cuda 9 branch) and I get better result even without overcloking the card I'm going to compile KlausT version to test.
