1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: June 05, 2018, 11:00:34 PM
I think the quality of the project comes to play in this situation, no matter how many dumping is done by these bounty hunters, a solid project will find its way back up. But the risk of the project being scam maybe one of the reason why these people don't buy at ico and wait for it to be listed 1st before buying.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: June 05, 2018, 10:54:29 PM
Majority of this year have been red. Maybe the market couldn't wrap its head around the govt. Regulation, FUD in the media e.t.c that has plagued the btc community since the start of 2018.i look forward to a time like the old good days and a long bull run.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanges are you mostly trusted? on: June 05, 2018, 10:48:34 PM
Binance is my most trusted exchange. Their quick response to security threats and ability to solve and put such related issues under control in no time is commendable and makes them dependable.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: June 05, 2018, 10:43:57 PM
I agree. Investors and people should see beyond fancy whitepaper and enquire to see what the project has to offer in terms of services or products. With that you can see what you are putting your money in to develop.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS or Tron on: June 05, 2018, 10:39:12 PM
I feel they are not different project with different objectives. I prefer EOS because I see it as a coin that is futuristically viable , something that was build to stand the test of time and take over the future.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it right time to buy Altcoin? on: June 04, 2018, 10:50:14 PM
Green doesn't necessarily mean it is the right time to acquire coins because you might end up buying at high and selling at low. The best time for me to buy is when the market is in red. I buy the dip.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Altcoin be independent ? on: June 04, 2018, 10:47:08 PM
Altcoins value are connoted in satoshi and unless we see a project with an ideai that can disrupt this trend till then altcoins value won't be fully independent of bitcoin price.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: June 04, 2018, 10:36:11 PM
Initially I was in crypto just to make profits then along the line I discovered there is more to it than just making money so I tried to examine and learn more about the fundamental and technical aspect of it. I have really learnt alot I was ignorant of through crypto and I am really grateful for this tech and who introduced me to this game honestly.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2017, but 2018 is the year of Ethereum on: May 29, 2018, 09:09:15 PM
You made a valid point, depsite btc dominance and popularity in the crypto space, ethereum has gone on to prove its critics wrong by providing the most easiest smart contract platform you can build your project on and that is why we have seen more than  80percent of blockchain start up build on the ethereum network and this have made ethereum the most relevant coin so far in 2018, though the line bitcoin is king can't still be disputed.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: May 29, 2018, 05:47:51 AM
A scam project will not stand the test of time like ethereum have done and it will also not have given people much profit like it has done.. So if you still feel it is a scam, keep your opinon to yourself.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin would you prefer to be paid in? on: May 28, 2018, 09:15:50 PM
I would go for ethereum because of its potential to grow more and I can easily convert it to any alt of my choice or use it to pay for a new ico.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have potential to grow? on: May 28, 2018, 09:13:48 PM
I think any solid project with a great and realistic idea behind it without too much overall market supply has the potential to grow if it hasn't already reached its peak and the right time to buy more coins is now because most coins are currently trading at bottom prices.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long should one have to wait to sell on: May 28, 2018, 09:10:36 PM
I think you need to read more materials and article about cryptocurrency investment. This would give you the ability to plan and formulate policies for yourselve without having to follow the crowd, because following the crowd in crypto is risk and might eventually lead to lots of losses.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Reviews, trust them or NOT? on: May 28, 2018, 09:02:06 PM
I think the reviews can still be used as part of the yardstick  or tool to draw your conclusion but you still need to use your own discretion and do not be 100percent reliant on them because some projects still fail despite high ratings.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What defines a successful ICO? on: May 28, 2018, 08:52:18 PM
The ideai behind the project is paramount, then the team behind the project, then another important thing is the ability for the ico to convince the people and build a very strong community are the major things I have seen made an ico successful. This factors will propel the project to reach pass its softcap and mayb eventually hits hardcap.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HONEST bounty hunters should be treated with respect on: May 27, 2018, 11:29:52 PM
I honestly think you should mention both the name of the project and bounty managers so they can be given a red trust as a consequence for their untrustiness and dishonesty. As long as an ico is successful, bounty payment ought to be paid to bounty hunters for a job well done.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunting - work or a hobby? on: May 27, 2018, 06:57:12 PM
I do see it as a hobby because bitcointalk itself is an interactive seasion where ideas are being exchanged and the forum is so enjoyable, so being paid for going to somewhere you love or something you love doing is a win win situation and taxes are not charged on cryptoholding in my country.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling tokens earned by bounty on: May 21, 2018, 11:10:03 PM
If the tokens received are not yet listed on exchanges then there is no way they can be sold. Chill till it is listed then you sell afterwards.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: May 21, 2018, 11:07:43 PM
Wallet whereby your private keys are held by you is better than exchange but a few coins can be put on exchange for short term trading purpose.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best alt for day trading on: May 21, 2018, 11:05:32 PM
There is no specific alt for day trading in my own opinon, I just go for coins with huge trading volume, they deliver more half of the  times.
