1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: February 17, 2014, 04:05:54 PM
I am curious if anyone can tell me how to disable the WiFI interface on the Antminer S1 on the web interface or the shell access ?
I know there is no WiFI antenna by default and emissions would be quite limited around the device but I would just like to disable the wireless interface.

Thank you.

Thanks for the clarification.
I was about to offer a shell access to my Debian 7.4 32 bits box if anyone wanted to have a look, but I didn't know about the performance issue.
It may not be worth the effort then.

Cheers.

Hello Clintar,

I have compiled jhPrimeminer-Aero from https://github.com/clintar/jhPrimeminer-Aero/ on a Debian 7.4 box (x86-32 bits).

The resulting binary starts fine but shortly dies with a:

I have tried different compile flags without results, still getting the segfault.
Is there anything I can do to help you debug and fix that issue ?

Cheers.

Hello,

Post #1 says:
Quote
These will be shipping out from Australia and are available to ship worldwide.
All USB will ship to me on the 9th of February. I expect to be shipping on by the 13th.
All 5 chip devices will ship to me on the 15th of February. I expect to be shipping on by the 19th.

I am not sure to understand how shipping will be done per these indications.

Beastlymac, can you please confirm if the Gridseed 1 chip devices will be posted to your buyers directly from Australia ? or they need to go thru you first
and be reshiped ? In that case, why is the shipping calculated based on Australia Post ? will there be some extra cost to cover for reshipping from you to the buyers ?
and which forwarder will be used ?

Thank you to clarifying.

Hello demonmaestro,

From unpaid/canceled orders, is there any quantity still available from Batch #1 ? I am looking to buy 20 units and would reserve these immediately.
Can you confirm when Batch #1 order will be shipped to your buyers ? What about Batch #2 ?

Cheers.

Do you want me to put you down for 20 for batch 2?
I would be interested on 20x units on Batch #2 depending on the shipping date, do you have an ETA for it yet ?

Cheers.

erk,

That's my understanding as well, I just wanted to clarify if the numbers in the thread subject are correct and achievable based on the hardware specs and if it's just a matter of software tweaking.

Cheers.

Ok, first things first, we now have hashing stable at 1.6 GH/s per chip!  Grin ... Now i know that sounds low, but there's still lots more tweaking to be done to get that rate up, which means we're getting close on the firmware (and by close i mean ACTUALLY close  Wink )

Barntech,

1.6 GH/s is ~60% of 2.7 GH/s
What's current hashing speed expectations ? do you think you'll be able to get 2.7 GH/s with thumbs and 21.7 GH/s for boards ? that's thru overclocking, right ?

Cheers.
