1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: $200 transaction stuck for two weeks today... on: December 20, 2017, 04:23:52 PM
Kind of in the same boat but with $60k..........

Bitcoin is currently useless unfortunately.. This might be the reason the bubble pops.

$60k damn that sux man, i feel your pain.

think the question is: why wasn't these issues happening when bitcoin was at @£7k-10k?  or were they? i was'nt buying bitcoin when it was lower than 8k-10k so i don't know.

Are these unconfirmed transaction increases due to network activity or due to rarity of mining the coin? i'm trying to understand why transactions are now risky in regards to 'if' they go thru.. im assuming its miners fee's which as you said, if it continues then, well bitcoin will be very expensive to move around. seems all i see is fee's along the way.. surely this gives room for alt coins and new protocols to have an advantage in future.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction stuck for days, last every time last just 30 min, plz help me on: December 20, 2017, 04:06:43 PM
Bitcoin is currently useless... It really might become the AOL of the web :S..

with all these unconfirmed transactions going on and clogging of network, it really is becoming hard work to send and receive transactions bitcoins unless of course you pay these priority fee's which seemingly are still not guaranteeing it goes thru.

i'm assuming the fee's will only go higher as we move forward for the bitcoin network to ensure transactions go thru.

Hi mocacinno,

I sent bitcoins from blockchain.info to binance exchange, its been three days. previous transaction using the sat/b fee's went thru ok, so i assumed this transaction would too.

transaction info is here blockchain.info/tx/6af5a2353258604070564969fc7629f128e69e280a8214ddfdd27db415fda59d

Transaction id - 6af5a2353258604070564969fc7629f128e69e280a8214ddfdd27db415fda59d
Sender or the receiver (or both) - both, sending to fund account from my (blockchain.info) to (binance exchange)
Which address you were trying to fund - funding my binance wallet using my blockchain.info wallet. Binance receive address 16GNGhh8ot9Gyd8VYdqwYSnmcr5UTkvy2A
Transaction is in my mempool - yes, i have checked http://www.mocacinno.com/page/getraw, entered my transaction id, and i was shown the raw transaction in mempool.
Nothing "strange"going on with your transaction - no, i have checked for unconfirmed parents, dust outputs and double spends on blockchain.info, and could not find any anomalies Nothing strange, only rebroadcasted twice. simple blockchain.info wallet to binance wallet.
Rectified Situation: Will use http://www.mocacinno.com/page/feeestimate to check fee's moving forward, dont want to make the same mistake again. Also, will be using priority option on blockchain.
Tip: Would be pleased to give a tip if you can speed this transaction up, i dont have much in regards to bitcoins but i can send something as a thank you. no problem at all.

thanks Mocacinno, appreciated if you can help.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction stuck for 3 days, can't accelerate with viabtc on: December 20, 2017, 03:18:58 PM

3 days ago i tried to send £35 worth of bitcoins from my blockchain wallet to binance exchange.. transaction is still unconfirmed Sad my fee was the same as a previous transaction so i at the time i didnt think it would be a problem, as the previous transaction went thru ok.

i checked out one of those accelerator services to try and speed this 6af5a2353258604070564969fc7629f128e69e280a8214ddfdd27db415fda59d up, they wanted to charge me $78!

these fee's and unconfirmed transactions are a nightmare for bitcoin.
