1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: September 20, 2018, 02:37:05 PM
The success of Bitcoin in these region, however, depends on how quick the Southeast Asian countries will adapt to the use of Bitcoin. Understanding how to handle bitcoin is a common learning curve.

Actually it has already been accepted specifically in some countries like the Philippines, where it is very popular and very common. Other regions, maybe more difficult to buy some bitcoins. We only need to adopt it better not only for gaming but also for eCommerce. Once you start using bitcoin, it will be easier for the ecosystem to develop.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legalized in Uzbekistan and Iran on: September 14, 2018, 08:41:15 AM
To operate in Uzbekistan, foreign trading platforms will have to establish local subsidiaries and abide by the country’s relevant laws.

The trading platforms are required to have built an operational electronic crypto-trading system using servers located in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The platforms will have to adopt rules for trading and publish exchange rates based on the ratio between supply and demand. They will be obliged to store for a period of five years information about all transactions, users’ identification data and other materials related to their interaction with customers, including business correspondence.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BMW now accepts Bitcoin as a payment! on: September 14, 2018, 08:16:33 AM
It's a great news but BMW is not the first to make such a revolutionizing move, as a smaller established custom cars provider, Classic Recreations has also been accepting cryptocurrencies like BTC, BCH, LTC, ETH and MTC to name the least.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country trades the most bitcoin on: August 31, 2018, 12:26:53 PM
This is slanted huge. Only local bitcoins. I am also amazed at  Venezuela. It is too small to be 4th. May be because Venezuela has one of the lowest electricity prices.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market stabilizes. on: August 17, 2018, 01:32:08 PM
Yeah but things can go worse any time. But I think I shouldn't be pessimist. Hope market only goes up from now on. My faith is kind of shaken after seeing record of crypto from past few months.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE GET ALL HATERS OF BITCOIN OUT OF HERE? on: August 16, 2018, 03:05:16 PM
I don't think there is a single thing in this world that doesn't have haters. And everyone hates something or many things in their life. If others start banning you from something just because you hate it, you are not gonna like it. For example, if you hate trump and you are banned from speaking about trump or worse banned from United States itself, that won't be good.

Bitcoin is such a big thing. It is bound to have haters. And there is nothing wrong with it. Different people, different opinions. So let it be.

I do agree that sometimes, things can be annoying.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mine Bitcoin with your TV! on: August 16, 2018, 02:54:19 PM
I am not sure about it but I had read a news on some site which said as the popularity of virtual currencies has grown, hackers are focusing on a new type of heist: putting malicious software on peoples' handsets, TVs and smart fridges that makes them mine for digital money.

These are called crypto-jacking attacks. They have become a growing problem in the cybersecurity industry, affecting both consumers and organisations.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM Machine in Nigeria. on: August 07, 2018, 07:14:47 PM
Two years ago the Bitcoin ATM was one of the most popular hardware devices Bitcoin had to offer. While miners remain financial viable, Bitcoin ATMs have sadly been left behind as the cryptocurrencies further innovates and integrates into current systems. Found in railways and shops a Bitcoin ATM would be tucked away in most cases gathering dust and increasing maintained costs forcing many to cease offering its services.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to start a new cryptocerency? on: August 07, 2018, 06:20:50 PM
There are dedicated cryptocurrency creation services out there, from the likes of CryptoLife, Wallet Builders and Coin Creator.

They promise to carry out the technical work for you but, as Coin Creator notes, you need to have a precise idea for a project in mind, and display a level of interest and commitment that is “beyond idle curiosity”.
Otherwise, you’re highly likely to fail.
The real difficulties, however, lie in maintaining your cryptocurrency, convincing people that it’s actually worthwhile and has a future, and getting them to use it.
While you don’t necessarily need to have coding skills to set you own digital currency up, they’re vital when it comes to keeping it going.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency Future on: August 02, 2018, 07:11:47 PM
The Federal Reserve could issue its own digital currency, as some global central banks are exploring.

Large companies such as Amazon, Walmart and Starbucks might issue digital coins that inspire trust and gain wide acceptance.

Retail giants, by accepting payments in the currency, could elevate Bitcoin, Ethereum or another cryptocurrency above the others vying to offer safety, soundness and utility.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation on: August 02, 2018, 06:34:41 PM
Most of 2018 has been rough for cryptocurrency prices, the back end of July has been a welcome relief for many crypto investors. During the last week, bitcoin climbed to a two-month high, topping $8,000 for the first time this summer. Analysts had predicted this increase in price based on their observations of an inverse head and shoulders pattern.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Indonesia is not legal on: August 02, 2018, 06:14:43 PM
The Bank Sentral Republik Indonesia announced that digital currencies are neither currency nor legal payment tools in Indonesia. It also advised people to stay away from Bitcoin and other virtual money. However, since then no actions have been taken against local crypto-exchanges and trading coins as well as organizing ICOs are still technically legal in this country.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: July 31, 2018, 06:02:25 PM
You are right, bitcoin was created as a digital currency but people use it as an investment. I don't think it's people's fault. If something is giving amazing returns, people are going to hold that and treat as asset instead of currency. We can blame this on bitcoin's volatility not on people.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who will benefit the most from bitcoin/cryptocurrency? on: July 31, 2018, 05:50:04 PM
The one who has invested the most. That's the simple answer actually! But there can be many other conditions like someone who was invested wisely. Buying during the dip, selling during the high.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: July 27, 2018, 07:00:39 PM
Of course, we should not. There is a saying that Never put all your eggs in one basket. Same applies here. It literally applies to everything. Diversify your investment. We can never rely on only one source on income.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin requires approval from countries ? on: July 18, 2018, 04:14:02 PM
As everyone said bitcoin doesn't require approval from any country to be used by its people. Citizens of any country can buy and sell bitcoins as long as they have internet. But it could be called as illegal activity if your country has banned bitcoin.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit Coin is a Ponzi Scheme on: July 18, 2018, 04:04:55 PM
A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investing scam promising high rates of return with little risk to investors.”

If you have not read the original proposal paper of Satoshi Nakamoto published in late 2008, you should. It’s eight pages long, quite technical, but is not too hard to digest. You’ll notice that never in that paper does it mention any kind of return on an “Investment” in Bitcoin. It never even mentions a price for one Bitcoin.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: July 11, 2018, 02:33:06 PM
It is true in some way but not totally. How can we invest in something without predicting the future of it? We need to do the research properly and then predict what may happen.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ban in india on: July 11, 2018, 02:23:28 PM
Is that true? Just recently I read an article where Shubham Yadav, co-founder of Coindelta, a Pune-based cryptocurrency exchange said “Though cryptocurrencies belong to a new class of financial assets, we can still welcome them as commodities and not currencies because of their high volatile prices.”
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: July 05, 2018, 01:15:19 AM
You are not completely right here, remember that business itself is defined as a pool of of risk. And i think that even living on this earth is a risk. No venture, no success. If you enter into a business for instance, you either stand to gain or loss; and those that venture in cryptos, entered to make money but they can also experience lost. I think risk taking is generally a win or lose thing in every business.
