1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox reclaim procedure? on: July 08, 2014, 09:45:22 AM
Thanks for the updates!  I never got a postcard, but I wasn't a major trader / investor / creditor anyway, so perhaps there was some threshold.  I've subscribed to the newsletter; thanks again.

Were instructions for the reclaim procedure ever posted?  I had a little in mtgox as well, and would like to file if it's not too late / they will let us.  I don't see any form or instructions for filing a claim, but I may simply have missed it.
3  Economy / Securities / Re: Coming Soon - Shares for 100TH/s Mining Farm - Payout is better than Pyramining on: September 17, 2013, 10:03:39 PM
Hello, I'm interested as well, but I'd also like to hear more of course.  Good luck in any case!
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I tried sending with zero fees, lesson learned! on: September 17, 2013, 09:40:10 PM
My transactions have always been pretty quick, even though I never use fees... I don't really know why.  I don't think they've ever been more than a few hours, certainly always within the day.

I usually only send 0.5-10 BTC transactions or so.  I don't think bitcoin is very good for micropayments, I guess; if I'm paying for a service or something, I just pay for longer in advance / group the payment with other payments.

I've never used a blockchain wallet though, but I used to use other wallet services (all defunct now I believe).
5  Other / Beginners & Help / How will new ASIC chips / farms effect the price of BTC? on: September 17, 2013, 09:26:53 PM
I keep hearing about ASIC farms and rigs coming out, the Bitfury chip and things like that.  i hear in the next month or two lots will be shipping / setting up.

How do people expect this to effect the price of BTC?

I've been sort of thinking there would be another crash of some kind soon, but it seems pretty stable at that 140 wall these days.... I don't know, I'm not good at speculating really.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Hi everyone, newbie here :) on: September 11, 2013, 02:17:45 AM
Hi everyone, I've been using bitcoin a little over the past year for various things (ex. I have a VPS/ VPN with bytesized hosting that I pay for in BTC), but have only now joined the forums.  I think it's a really great system and currency, and I look forward to how it will change commerce!  I don't have much money, but I always keep a little of it in BTC and so far it has always paid off!  But even if it didn't, I would keep some because I like the idea.

I'm also getting curious about the other crypto-currencies, although I don't have any of them at this time... I wonder if they will really catch on, or if BTC will meet all the "crypto-currency" needs for a long time yet?  I guess only speculators have holdings in the other currencies for now, right?

Thanks for the forum and for developing a community around this great technology!
