1  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dino park game - scam? on: December 24, 2018, 02:42:34 AM
I joined and put my own money in this time last year. What the promoters of these things love to do it gloss over the bad parts of the design and teach how great it is. If you don't successfully invite paying referrals you will likely never recover your investment. Payment points are intentionally hard to get to the point that I have just under $3000 in my payout balance but only 1500 payment points allowing me to withdraw approximately $6.00 USD. XD wonderful, thanks to advocates online I got scammed because my referrer never mentioned payment points, The bot itself never mentioned payment points to me until my first attempt to withdraw, and then the system is so poorly explained that I put in money thinking that it might be alright. But no, it's a travesty. As the author said 1 BTC=1,000,000 Payment Points and I said I have 1,500 Payment Points=$6.00 USD. Wow, That works out to $4000 worth in their evaluation just to receive something you've already earned and put money into before. If they didn't take unbearably long to receive, 1-3 for free every day. I've only gotten 1, 99% of the time. But wait, they offer VIP dinos so you can earn payment points. Ha, what a joke though, 600 Points or close to 600 days of consistently collecting your daily bonus to buy the cheapest one which will then only bring you 3 payment points every day...for 300 days, then they die. 300x3=900 so 300 agonizing days to get 300 more than you initially put in. Just deceptive mechanics created to scam you but also a system in place to encourage people to deceptively market the game so they can make back what they put in and/or spend nothing but profit off of making it sound profitable. Avoid Dino Park, and most, if not all, similar games if you can.

Cool scam bros. Lorem Ipsum, am I riiiight? ;P

"The important factor when using Lorem ipsum text is that the text looks realistic otherwise the brochure or book will not look very good. Lorem Ipsum is dummy text which has no meaning however looks very similar to real text."

Don't invest money anywhere near this crap please. They can't even put effort in the scam, literally ran software to generate fake text.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitrocoin real or scam? on: February 04, 2018, 09:42:43 AM
Upon signing up for Vitrocoin I had a sneaking suspicion it was a scam before even googling their legitimacy. I went through with registration as worst case it wasted 5 min, best case $3000 like you said. (I signed up very early into ICO) Truth is I have no doubt in my mind this is a scam at this point, red flags popping up left and right. When I first got my 100 coins the site had the ticker as the comment above mentioned, and the balance even wrote it out as 100 VTC. Now it would display as 100 VIC in that same section with no mention of why the change took place. I did nothing with the account until 4 days before the ICO ended...the first time. I logged in a few times a day and watched it rise in that short time period from $13 to $22 on their embedded chart. Coincidentally I have been unable to find anything online supporting these claims, or really any sort of site that catalogues actual cryptocurrencies and the markets they are on, going to, what stage they are in, etc. Searching on google only brought what the user above me posted about 4 or 5 times on different sites, and 5x that social media posts about the "airdrop" of 100 coins by people hoping to line up referrals. Nothing else in relation to this currency, project, etc. The site itself: Vitrocoin.net has very little useful information. The project is described as mineable, free and fast, super safe with no security threats, and very in-demand claiming price would be $200 by January 2019 with high probability to reach "a bitcoin price". As for the partners and team, in those few posts mentioning it was a scam there was mention of listing partners and team members who outright told would-be investors in the project that they were not affiliated in any way with Vitrocoin. So instead of addressing this at all those details were changed/removed and they went on again as if nothing happened at all. When the ICO should have ended I logged in because I read that the second the ICO ended members would immediately have the option to transfer the coins for cash, between all the red flags I had major doubts that this was true. But if it was according to that current price I would have made $2200 just for giving what looked like a scam the benefit of the doubt and minimal information about me. Upon filling in my bitcoin address and selecting 100 VIC in the trading section the site popped up a message saying that my transaction was on the way and would arrive at 60 network confirmations. Instead of logging out I went to my dashboard again only to notice that my balance immediately reflected as showing 0 VIC worth $0. So I reopened the trading tab looking for proof of any transaction, even just a written timestamp from my withdrawal request. I found absolutely nothing, no proof that I even had 100 VIC at any point. (then again I don't think this is a scamcoin, so much as not a coin at all just an empty promise and poor english as well as web design) I went through the formalities of submitting a ticket with the contact tab after 3 days of not receiving my funds or even seeing anything as pending. Today, 4 days later there has been no reply, no transaction. There is no money to be found in Vitrocoin and if you actually invested I fully believe you won't see any return transaction from this ICO. That site is a scam and nothing at all but a timer that resets itself back a week so they could continue their ended ICO while steadily skyrocketing the price, now sitting at $43 at the time of writing, with their faked chart as it isn't trading at all. (Netbusinessrating lists is as a closed ICO and closed site as it should have ended January 31st) Please do not invest with them in the last few days of the ICO or at all if the length is extended again. They keep showing their coin growing massively constantly while putting a time limit on the purchase to FOMO people who see the chart shows from $0.003 to $43 in only 46 days when they claim it will reach bitcoin's price. Do not fall for the FOMO.

Sounds like a very interesting concept. Sadly I'm new to the whole scene and can't afford the .005 fee for .0003 BTH when I have no idea that the transfer will be worth it in the end. Sad
