I own a small company with a data center in Lake Forest, CA -- near Irvine, CA (Southern California).
I'm looking for an honest, tech-savvy miner that is interested in leveraging our data center for L3+, S9, or similar servers. I have available power, rack space, and cooling for some mining servers. Currently we do not provide hosting to third parties, all the gear here belongs to our company. My primary interest is to satisfy my obsession with crypto and blockchain by learning more about the mining side of things.
Some details about our company and data center:
-Company established in 1993 -Provider of B2B services to Fortune 500 and smaller companies -Onsite employees to look after servers -FOB access to building and biometric access to data center -42U HP locked 4-post rack units -Direct power feed to sub-panel in data center that feeds below UPS -APC Symmetra UPS - everything in data center is powered by this unit to protect against brief power outages -GFI protected 208V and 120V outlets, 208V preferred due to increased efficiency -APC Smart Meter Power Strips (web interface to see power draw and control outlets remotely power on/off) -Dedicate commercial-grade ductless split A/C system designed and installed by commercial A/C contractor -Separate hot air exhaust system ducting -Raritan KVM Over IP - BIOS-level control of servers in case they hang before OS starts -Static dissipative flooring grounded with copper ribbon cable -Reliable commercial Internet service with SLAs in place
Prefer to work with local miner(s) so we can easily meet face-to-face and nerd out about cypto world. I'd consider working with remote people if we could setup an in-person meeting to get started.
Not interested in shady people peddling vapor mining gear, ponzi schemes, cloud mining in Albania, etc.
If you're interested, please PM me with your background and why you'd be a great person to partner with.
Best Regards, Darren
