Re: bitcoin and money laundering

Money are never dirty, and can therefore not be laundered. Money are always divine.

This is not always true, as if you acquired money in an illegitimate manor, or if the specific money can link you to a specific crime, then it is considered to be "dirty"

Money acquired in an illegitimate manner is only "dirty", if it can be directly connected to the crime.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin backed paper money (idea) on: July 18, 2014, 05:32:34 AM
In order for this to work, there would HAVE to be fractional reserve. Why? Because printing bills like that costs money. Especially if you want to make them so good they can't be counterfeit.
What about taxes? Those could be used to offset the price difference.

So If I have say an iphone 5 do I get a discount on the new upgraded model?

While that would be great for a consumer, it would be bad for a company, and they would miss out on revenue.

Bad luck for a country losing 2 planes in the same year.

Not only the country, but also the one airline.

The proof that the rebels had indeed a Buk missile defense system.

Quote
DONETSK, June 29, /ITAR-TASS/. Self-defence forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic have taken control over a missile defence army unit equipped with Buk missile defence systems, the press service of the Donetsk People’s Republic told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

Why are they now claiming they don't have it ?

Because claiming they don't have it pushes them away from the responsibility.

Was the plane supposed to fly over this area anyway? It seems like a terrible choice on the part of the Malaysia Airlines.

18  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I have 3 Million USD to invest into Crypto Currency - How should I do it? on: June 14, 2014, 05:47:25 AM
New idea.  Deposit $200,000 into US auction of confiscated SR coins.  Get as many as you can and hold for dear life!

*or diversify Smiley

If you pegged the auction coins at 550 a piece, the smallest block of 3K, would cost just over half of his 3M.
550 * 3,000 = 1,650,000

That is an interesting idea, you could probably get a pretty good deal on a block of 3k BTC, and then sell it at a higher price on an exchange. I'm not sure how much, if any, discount you could get from buying in bulk.

Just a suggestion... But I doubt someone with 3 million, would conduct themselves in this matter...
20  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.EU - Bitcoin Sportsbetting - Best Odds - Free Bitcoin Promo on: December 09, 2013, 08:40:41 PM
Still bets not graded, this book is horribly slow.

Made many bets and never receieved my 0.01.. ID [190]

We have some sports and leagues which are autograded. Other sports and leagues are not and can take manual review.

Its the tradeoff being able to offer as many leagues as we do, and having things graded instantly.

Every day new sports and leagues are added to be autograded and you'll see these becoming faster over the coming weeks.

I've gone ahead and credited you with your signup bonus as well.

Love the options for handball, and graded quickly.

Also your signature link points to the old site.
