5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is trend Now? on: February 27, 2018, 07:13:16 AM
After the recent crash in January, most of the coins have partially recovered and it would take some time to reach where the prices were. No one can predict, which way the prices would go. Prices of cryptocurrencies are almost static for last few weeks and have not changed much.

So, the best option is to hold at the moment and hope for the prices to start going onward.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: February 25, 2018, 03:36:32 PM
Get some understanding of the market and then you would be able to take a decision.
There are many other cryptocurrencies besides bitcoin, so you can pick one and invest in that.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: February 23, 2018, 04:29:45 AM
Bitcoin is one of the thing which has survived and come a long way.

Investing in 2008-2009 and holding till now would not have been an easy task. Even, if you had bought Bitcoin back then in 2008-2009, you would have sold it after few years or might be after few months. BTC has started to pick-up only last year, it was not that beneficial and known before that. So, don't regret.

I think "WannaCry ransomware attack" has done a fair amount of advertisement for Bitcoin. My friend circle, including me came to know about Bitcoin and blockchain through the news we got around this attack.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: February 20, 2018, 05:31:55 AM
With many good things came with BTC and Blockchain, the features which can be used negatively are its "Immutability" & "Decentralized nature".

Some people are using this in illegal activities as it is not traceable, but this is how it is. "Wanna cry ransomware" is one of the example of how it can be used to rob people.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: February 19, 2018, 06:46:50 AM
Bitcoin is really secure.

No one have hacked the blockchain till date and this might not happen, because the all the blocks are interlinked and copy of each block resides on multiple computers, so it's not possible. However your wallet can be hacked and Bitcoin can be stolen, wallet security is completely up to you.

If the government of a country bans the BTC (I don't think it would happen) you always have the option trade outside that country.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a daily currency? on: February 19, 2018, 06:18:37 AM
I don't think so and it would even not be like a daily currency in the coming years.

Bitcoin has now become more of an investment options and in coming years it would be more like an asset. We have completely forget the sole purpose of Bitcoin (which was to make transactions easy and eliminate third-party involvement), now Bitcoins are only being used to make quick money and it would remain this way.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: February 11, 2018, 03:21:05 PM
I don't think it's a bubble and it would be very unfair to say so.
It would not be relevant as a payment method, because of high transaction cost and per second transaction limit it has. BTC has now become an asset and more of an investment option and it will remain like this.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: February 11, 2018, 04:54:44 AM

If the Internet  goes down because of nuclear war then you might not left with most of the resources to spend on and there will be more bigger issues than bitcoin.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2018, 10:24:08 AM
Wait, if you do not understand BTC, because you would end up losing money.

Invest, if you are around for some time and have a fair understanding of this industry.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: February 08, 2018, 09:57:44 AM
The only way to help bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is by educating people about this tender but blooming industry.

Number of people aware about this industry is very low and most of the people coming in this industry is only to earn profit, they do not understand the actual benefits of BTC and it's technologies. So, people need to be educated in a way that they understand the concept and if they do, monetary benefit would not matter much and industry would be more stable.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Valentine's Day affect BTC? on: February 07, 2018, 06:29:59 AM
Don't think Valentine's Day would have any impact on BTC, unless some big announcement come from any country regarding BTC.

There is no relation at all between Valentine's Day and BTC and I have not seen any pump or drop in BTC history on this day.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying bitcoin now? on: February 07, 2018, 05:34:06 AM
Investing in other coins can give you more return, going by the recent trend.

Bitcoin price would drop more, so investing in BTC can also be profitable if you want to hold for 2-3 months.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: is this great time to buy bitcoin??? on: February 07, 2018, 04:24:30 AM
This is the right time to make money from the profit of fluctuation in BTC price.

Possibilities are bitcoin price would drop more, So I would not suggest to invest in bitcoins only if;
      1. You want to earn profit from its price fluctuation
      2. You want to hold BTC for a longer go
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is the Indian budget a reason for recent drop? on: February 03, 2018, 05:43:08 AM
I don't think "Arun jaitely" comment to eliminate cryptocurrencies as a payment method from criminal activities, is the reason behind recent price drops.

What you guys think the actual reason is?
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is crypto? on: January 23, 2018, 06:34:34 AM
Crypto is the short word used of Cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency is the digital currency based on blockchain technology. This is a decentralized currency and not governed by government body.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 09:15:32 AM
This industry has just started, not many people are still aware about this industry. As the industry gets older, more people would be aware about this and that would be the time more women would come to this industry.
