1  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the WORST movie you have ever seen? on: May 14, 2018, 06:31:14 PM
Independence Day: Resurgence is BEYOND awful. It's an inconsistent and bland mess with terrible acting, time spent for lots of boring talks and... Come to think of it, the action scenes were just as boring as those. Also, the alien chasing after the school bus for absolutely no reason other than "drama" has to be the cherry on top.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is Your Favorite YouTube Channel? on: May 08, 2018, 08:05:14 PM
I once really liked Podel for his videos filled with ironic memes, but now I've discovered much more. So much more in fact it's quite hard to choose which one would really be my favorite.... Oh well, here's my MANY favorites!

-videogamedunkey

If you're looking for video games and comedy. Stop looking, this is it. Nearly every single video makes me laugh out loud. Absolute mastapiece.

-2ndJerma

Actually, don't stop looking. Otherwise you won't find hidden gems such as this channel. "Pure fun" is this channel in a nutshell.

-ralphthemoviemaker

Have you stopped looking yet? Too bad, you haven't seen this channel! Unlike these other two channels, this one is about a guy who criticizes movies and makes jokes
here and there. It might look bland on paper, but once you see it, I bet you'll never unsee it! Another masterpiece without a doubt. Oh, also you might want to watch
his videos in order (from old to new), since there's a weird story going on.

-Jim Sterling

Do you still despise what EA has done with it's lootboxes? Look no further! Jim Sterling is here to further increase your anger! And you'll love it for some reason. Maybe not of course, but I certainly did.

-Criken2/Bedbanana (They're both very similar.)

From exaggerated drama to other dumb scenarios, these guys made me laugh many times. And the editing here is the icing on the cake.

...Anyways, I should really stop now shouldn't I?
...
Eh.

-Ahoy

Alright, enough about comedy-centered channels. This is one of those channels that really puts quality ahead of quantity. Finding a recently released video here is rare, but it's for the better. The videos not only look good, but also have a lot of interesting commentary. His most recent video so far (the one about Polybius) is so good you'd think you were watching it on TV.

Okay, I'll stop now.

I'd go for the good ol' "I want peace 'n all", but a lot of people have been saying the same thing here.

I think that if I was in a small spaceship in space, surrounded by nothing but my cockpit, the stars and a computer with Internet and video games, I'd be pretty much in heaven.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your gaming pc 💻 name? on: May 08, 2018, 06:27:48 PM
I don't have a name for it, but I think I'd call it "The Snail" because it's ridiculously slow. And for your question about "first video game", I believe it's Bertie the Brain. If that's not what you mean't, then I think my first video game was NFS: Underground 2.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your favorite websites? on: May 06, 2018, 03:52:33 AM
The Cutting Room Floor is undoubtedly one of my favorites. It shows a lot of content that was either removed or modified before a video game's release, which to me is quite interesting. I mean, it's got lots of neat facts, like Gran Turismo 3 once having a race-modified Lamborghini Diablo, but without the "Lamborghini" part because the Gran Turismo team were using a loophole to get that Lambo into the game.

I also love any website that lets me get amazing mods for my games. Most notably ModDB. So many Battlefront II mods in there.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your time machine is here...what year would you like? on: May 04, 2018, 07:49:05 PM
I'd like the future (Probably around 2100). Hopefully it's not as bad as sci-fi says, and if it isn't, then there's probably going to be lots of cool technologies to discover and other stuff. Think of how advanced VR games will be in the future.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Top 10 pc game on: May 02, 2018, 09:05:02 PM
Here we gooooo...

10: Test Drive Unlimited

Not everyone's cup of tea, but it certainly is mine! It's got excellent car physics (gaming wheel strongly recommended!), a superb car list (Type-E? Check. Miura? Check. F40? Check.) and plenty of fun races. It's got plenty of faults, but it's still a very enjoyable experience. A shame the potentially good Test Drive Unlimited 2 was completely ruined thanks to terrible physics.

9: Duke Nukem 3D

Truly a masterpiece! It's got fantastic level design, fun weapons that range from the good old shotgun to the unique freezethrower, and most importantly, one of the most iconic video game characters of all time.

8: Halo: Combat Evolved

A game that received a lot of praise and still does today, and it's easy to see why. Every single weapon in this game feels unique, fighting the covenant is pure bliss, and the vehicles feel amazing.

7: Serious Sam: The First & Second Encounter (Note: I played the HD version of the Second Encounter.)

I've never played any game before that was as action packed as both of these masterpieces. So action packed in fact, that your hand will likely hurt from moving your mouse so much. As Sam "Serious" Stone you fight against tons of enemies that can kill you quickly if you're not careful. Luckily though, as you go through your journey you'll discover many amazing weapons. From the almighty cannon to Sam's iconic minigun, they're the definition of fun.

6: Max Payne

The game that revolutionized slow motion in video games. Max Payne is a brutal game; enemies deal lots of damage, and I mean A LOT. To compensate for this though, you can use slow motion to your advantage, which is one of the two things that make Max Payne such an excellent game. The other thing is it's story which, although quite cliche, has a lot of depth.

5: Re-Volt

Take Mario Kart, replace the karts with realistic RC cars, and you've got Re-Volt. It might seem like a bad Mario Kart copycat, but it really is an amazing game. It's incredibly hard, but once you succeed it's incredibly rewarding. This difficulty also makes the races much more intense, as even a single mistake could ruin a race. Also, to add to the "amazing" factor, it's got excellent track design that'll keep the racing fun even if somehow the race is too easy.

4: Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005)

You are a soldier amidst a large Star Wars battle. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, I know. MODS! So many mods! And so many of them make the game a thousand times better, as if it wasn't good enough already!

3: GTA Vice City

It might not have the gigantic world of San Andreas or V, but despite that I still think it's better than both of these. The soundtrack is great, the guns are satisfying, the cars are simple yet fun to drive, (Yeah, I know. But personally I like them.) it's got plenty of memorable characters, and it's got the best cheats of any GTA game.

2: Mafia: City of Lost Heaven

This game is unlike any other game, despite being a "GTA clone". It's not always fun, but that's not because of poor decisions. It's because it wants to immerse you into the life of a mafioso. For this immersion to work, it uses a lot of realism. Guns have a lot of recoil, enemies are tough and deal a lot of damage, cars are heavy and slow, etc. Apart from realistic little details, one of the things that make this game so brilliant is it's story, which is undoubtedly one of the best stories ever told in a video game.

1: Undertale

Undertale is pure bliss from the beginning until the end. It's got many lovable characters, it's funny as heck, it has so much depth and it turned the luck-based combat of other RPGs into fun bullet hell battles. If you haven't tried it yet, make sure to not look at too many Undertale related things, because this game is a thousand times better when going in blind like I did.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you Think we Are alone in the Universe? on: April 28, 2018, 05:28:41 PM
I have no idea, though it does seem likely. As many have said before, if we weren't alone in the universe then wouldn't we have already seen alien life from Earth? But then again, maybe alien life is just extremely rare.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gamers on: January 28, 2018, 08:03:44 PM
I play a wide variety of games. Sometimes I like to play games intended for multiplayer with bots, or alone. Games such as Unreal Tournament 2004, Counter-Strike: Source or COD World at War (With it's amazing Nazi zombie mode).

Other times I'll play something new, Like Undertale. Which I've recently played and is an absolute masterpiece. And yeah, I know. I played Undertale much later than everybody else.

And I'll also replay a game I've already completed, because it's that good (Looking at you, Hotline Miami).

Then finally I'll play something that allows me to do plenty of stuff, like GTA Vice City.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: what will you do when you are in a bad mood? on: January 16, 2018, 07:08:37 AM
I'll play some video games. Not any video game though. Something relaxing like Pioneer. (an open-source space trading and combat simulator. I've never been in combat so far... So... So far it is relaxing!)
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some of your favorite PC games? on: January 12, 2018, 12:52:41 AM
Serious Sam, The First and Second Encounter. It's a challenging game that has you against tons of enemies, and to be alone against so many deadly enemies makes for a game with lots of intense battles.

Speaking of challenging games... Midnight Club II. A very difficult street racing game that has you racing in Las Vegas, Paris and Tokyo. As long as you have a controller (If you don't, the cars will be oversensitive.) and don't mind crashing into traffic a lot, this game should be a blast.

Oh, and Re-volt. Without a doubt. An amazing game that has realistic RC car physics mixed with Mario Kart style power ups. It's also got excellent track design, with plenty of challenging corners that never get boring.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite free PC game? on: January 09, 2018, 05:48:17 PM
My favorite so far is Pioneer. Think Euro Truck Simulator but in space and with some spaceship battles. I haven't gotten into any spaceship battles yet, but I still find it to be an amazing and relaxing experience. Also, the graphics are superb, mostly when you're in space.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your favorite youtube channel on: January 08, 2018, 07:53:27 PM
For me it's Podel. Imagine a YTP filled with ironic memes, and you've got a Podel video. There's so much absurd stuff going on in these videos that it makes them hilarious non-stop. Or, at least for me it does.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Suggest me a movie on: January 06, 2018, 08:05:58 PM
If you're still looking for some movies here, I'd recommend you to watch Drive. It's not a masterpiece, but it's still a good movie that I'd recommend.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best Console? on: December 27, 2017, 08:51:26 PM
Of all the consoles I've played, my favorite would be the PS2. So many good games on that thing.
