I'm just wondering what moves the minds of 50% of all coin-investors to sell the top of the top coins at their lowest prices?

This blows my mind.

I sometimes wonder what in gods name people are thinking to let an absolute top-of-the-top coin go down more than 3% in the last 24 hours at its lowest price, maximizing their loss.

Except ofcourse for the few that really need the money quickly.

The sole reason for investing in an ico is because you think it will go sky high. If you sell it for a small profit you are wasting your time. You could rather work an extra hour a week at your regular job instead of spent that time on ico's if you would do it like this.

Or is Bitcoin following the price of altcoins? Ethereum dropped so heavily because authorities want ico regulations. I think. So maybe altcoins (and bitcoin) follow Ethereum. If Ethereum drops, people buy it because the price is better. And what do they buy it with? With the selling of other coins. This is how the whole market dips when Ethereum makes huge drops.

Why is coinmarketcap not called "blockchainmarketcap"? A lot of the listed are not coins bit securities like shares (tokens).

Is coinmarketcap not a misleading name?

You are forgetting the fact that these coins have already boomed. What are the chances that they will boom again?

Best way is invest hodl. But especially top coins that have not been added to Coinbase yet. If you have the best coins that are not on Coinbase yet, then you just have to wait for them to get added because the coinbase-adding is one of the biggest boosts a coin that they get in price.

For example, it wouldn't be crazy to have as much ripple and cardano as you have bitcoin and ethereum.

I don't know anymore. Last year i took some promising small ones like Onion, Spectrecoin, WEpower, Medicalchain, but they did not impress so far. Maybe i should wait longer.

Also one that wasn't so small anymore but was very promising, SONM, also didn't explode. These were all top-rated throughout the entire community. But again, i might speak too soon and ofcourse i should hodl.

I have always wondered why people say that Bitcoin will replace Fiat and how it will make banks obsolete and how the government fears it but can't do anything about it.

These are strong assumptions. The government decides everything. How could they not over-regulate crypto? I have never understood this. The government has the power. Since i started buying crypto in 2017 i already wondered about this.

Ok and now please 1 last big crash so that we can all buy-in cheaply before the bull run!

Can even drop to 1.000 then we'll buy everything and earn 20x as much when it rises.

Yes I'm trying to take advantage of these prices. Yesterday i bought cardano, ripple, ethereum, neo, iota, monero and litecoin.

Today i bought more ethereum and also some bitcoin.
(need enough ethereum for future ico's)

Enough for now, i'll buy more if market drops to 150 billion.

People who say these things usually appear to be wrong about it. Probably just trying to get attention or something for his own projects or services or just to make his name pop up.

Forget it, i'm not buying yet cause its gonna get cheaper. When another 10% overall drop occurs, i'm buying ALL top 10 coins.

If the big players start investing now, things could rise big. I think of buying more cause i WILL NOT buy when prices are high. I would regret not having bought back when it was so low. When its high, i only sell.
