Oh, I may have to retract for what I just said?

Indeed I've just noticed the impossiblity for parlaying stuff for the same match just a few hours ago. It now seems to work out fine?

I tried it in either Iexplore and Chrome. Before it didn't work, now it does.

Hey there.

It's been quite a while since the last message for this thread was posted.

Yet, I've just met this site and express my enjoyment for it.

I believe there is _STILL_ something to be worked out.

Description of the issue: Parlays don't work if you try to parlay bets on different, independent aspects of the same MATCH.

Example: Suppose that for MATCH between TeamA(-2) and TeamB(+2), with OVR/UND at 100, I wish to place a
PARLAY for TeamA, also betting that total number of points will be UND 100. It doesn't work because all bets
for a given match are disabled to parlay once the first bet has been entered.

It seems you can perfectly place a parlay, say, for TeamA, and aldo for OVR/UND on a different MATCH.
Please note that Whether TeamA wins or losses is independent on whether results for the game are OVER or UNDER.

Great site, but as you can guess, there are some things to do yet.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / poclbm works but rpcminer doesnt work, Windows 7 on: September 11, 2013, 08:55:51 PM
Hi Mining Community!

I am a newbie, eager to learn. I will certainly benefit from your insight as I venture in the Bitcoin mining world.

I have started mining in Windows 7 64 bit. No extra fancy equipment by now, only an Nvidia card and Core i7 processor.

I use commandline unix utilities all the time, and have been successful in starting mining with a program named poclbm.exe with my NVIDIA card.

I've been clueless, though, about making RCPMINER programs (rpcminer-cuda and rpcminer-cpu) work with slush's pool.

FYI:
- I registered in slush's pool. It's great to be here!
- I installed GUIMiner at first to my Win7 64, but a day afterwards it refused to run. Don't know why....
- I managed to craft my own commandline invocation for poclbm.exe program which came with GuiMiner:
      ===== COMMANDLINE =====
    ./poclbm.exe --device=0 --vectors stratum://myUserName.myWorker:WORKER_PASSWD@stratum.bitcoin.cz
      ====
    device 0, of course, is my NVIDIA card. This works wonders, and I confirm any worker I defined under
     my account are credited for shares as I see it reported both in poclbm.exe output, and as I immediately
     check in My account page at slush's pool.
- Trying to work with other devices/software, I downloaded all RPCMINER programs from a link at a post (probably
    at this forum). I've managed to assemble a workable instruction either putting or removing the optional/adhoc
    options GPU= AGRESSION= and THREADS= parameters
   So my commandline looks somewhat like this, give or take the optional/adhoc parameters:
      ===== COMMANDLINE =====
      rpcminer-cuda.exe -gpu=0 -aggression=8  -url=http://api.bitcoin.cz:8332 -user=myUserName.myWorker
      -password=WORKER_PASSWD
      ====

FOCUSING ON RPCMINER PROGRAMS:
- As an ouput, I get the
     ===== OUTPUT =======
       xxxxx KHash/s,
    =====
  and, ocassionally,
     ===== OUTPUT =======
    Sending to server: {"method":"getwork","params":BLABLABLABLAH.....
    Server sent: {"result": true, "id": "1", "error": null
    =====
Problem is, when I get back to slush's pool my account page, NO SHARES ARE REPORTED although rpcminer-cuda|cpu.exe reports them as found!

SO WHAT DO I ASK?

Okay, so as I make my way into bitcoin mining, I would like to know if there is something I might not be doing well with rpcminer-cuda|cpu.exe programs. I've already quoted prototypical command invocations as I enter them. I've also mentioned poclbm.exe works great in the same machine.

It appears slush's pool doesn't recognize or somewhat doesn't accept whatever shares rpcminer-cuda|cpu.exe find and apparently report as accepted by the server.

I doublechecked that I am entering the correct user and password, and yes, for the right site. (So far I only ventured into another pool which didn't work even with poclbm.exe after I registered, before registering at slush's pool).

I've assembled commands and the like from what I've read in the posts, so there might be some need for fine-tuning or rectification of my commands. And, by all means, please correct me if my use of terms, etc is inappropriate.

Looking forward to your insightful replies,
Best of luck,
Malr.
