Although the srbminer was working usper stable with my Vega rigs and gave me amazing nominal hashrate, my adventure with srbminer comes to the end

After a lot of monitoring I figured out that srbminer and cast.xmr give me much less real hashrate than the miner hashrate. I have tried several pools and difference goes as much as 20%. I don't know why, one of the rigs is correct (12KH/s reported by miner and pool) and others vary from 11.5 to even 10KH/s real hashrate. I have 0 invalid shares, everything works beautiful, but my hashes are missing.

Although XMR STAK gives me less hashrate, it is spot on with what the pool reports. I have read few pages ago that older versions of srbminer do not have this issue, but I can't find them online anymore.

After long time, back to where I started, hello XMR STAK, sorry doc, your miner is awesome but difference is too high for me.

ive noted something similar
my miner tells me my hashrate is 4.9Kh/s but on pool ive never reached over 4.4Kh/s

what memory and what clocks?
Samsung 1250/2050.

thanks

not sure whats up but sometimes i get 1100h/s on Heavy on my samsung and sometimes 1000h/s

when samsung does 1100h/s my micron does less and sometimes other way around
cant get both to do 1100h/s at the same time

GPU0: RX 570 4GB Samsung Memory
GPU1: RX 580 8GB Samsung Memory
GPU2: RX 580 8GB Micron Memory

Hello, what's worksize and threads do you use? (on your RX 580 8GB mircron)

Code:
{ "id" : 1, "intensity" : 54, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2},

Also, All 4gb cards that I have Elpida, Hynix do 1k+ on CN-V7.

this is correct, my 4GB Hynix does 1k+h/s on CN-V7

anyone got good settings for Gigabyte RX 570 4GB Samsung memory for Heavy?  cant go over 740-760h/s

That’s about the max you’re going to get on a 4 gb card.

ahh man ok
on my 4GB Hynix i get 810h/s max   was hoping samsung would get me more

any settings for
580 8GB Samsung
&
580 8GB Micron?

V1.6.0
- Added support for Haven new algo after fork (block 89200)
- Added support for Masari new algo (fast) after fork (block 204000)
- Job timeout default is now 20 minutes
- More logging on miner startup
- Added option 'persistent_memory' in gpu_conf

+ 2 new algos added : 'haven' and 'fast'
So after the fork you can use them like :

"cryptonight_type" : "fast"
"cryptonight_type" : "haven"

+ As some have issues with miner 'just waiting some time' on startup, i added more logging option so we can catch where it hangs, and i can possibly fix that
+ 'persistent_memory' parameter added to gpu_conf, basically what it does is tries to allocate some memory that is normally not available to the GPU. It can increase hashrate in some ocassions, by finding the right intensity and threads setup, but also it can make the gpu crash, so it's up to you to experiment Smiley

I am still looking for the cause of random miner crashes (mostly on new 'great' win 1803 update), also for the abnormality that causes higher hashrate on after X runs.

Hi Doc!

as I told you before, you have to take a good look at memory usage in task manager for the first run after reboot and all the next ones.
There is something strange there!
Behaviour is different.

PS. This doesn't happening in other miners.

same here.. sometimes on heavy algo my 3 cards are:
750h/s - 1100h/s - 950 h/s
or
780h/s - 950h/s - 950h/s
or
750h/s - 1050h/s - 920h/s

sometimes restarting the program i get more hasrate, doesnt always work but i dont know why it does that BUT all other miners dont even give me 2.5Kh/s in total where im getting up to 2.8Kh/s with this sometimes

cannot seem to get over 760h/s on my RX 570 4GB Samsung Memory card also Sad

In ver 1.6.0 my 580 4gb final break 1020h/s  v7 Cheesy

what memory and what clocks?

guys
how can i skip the config file and create command file?
having 5+ different coins mining  at different times is annoying to change the config again and again (even changing the config name for backup)

thank you

you can create 5 config files and 5 pool files. so your bat file would be like below and just remove REM command depend on which config and pools you want to use. I think this way more easy for me.

start SRBMiner-CN.exe --config config1.txt --pools pools1.txt
REM start SRBMiner-CN.exe --config config2.txt --pools pools2.txt
REM start SRBMiner-CN.exe --config config3.txt --pools pools3.txt
REM start SRBMiner-CN.exe --config config4.txt --pools pools4.txt
REM start SRBMiner-CN.exe --config config5.txt --pools pools5.txt

i'll give this a try
thank you so much

also, anyone able to get 750h/s+ on RX 580 4GB models?
my 8GB models do 1000h/s+ SOMETIMES but cant get 4GB any higher.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.1 on: May 05, 2018, 01:32:23 PM
I have a funny problem!
When I use the 1.3.2 version I can connect to every pool and mine without any problems.
Yesterday I download the latest version 1.5.1 and changed all of the data in the config.txt file, but as I start the miner it connects to nano pool to mine monero and it does not get any work? Why is it happening and what may be causing the issue?
I am mining with 1.3.2 simply because with the pre-previous version I had the same issues - I think 1.4.0 or 1.4.1 and I rolled back to 1.3.2.
I really want to use the latest version because it gives more detailed information regarding the cards, optimizations etc etc, simply don't want to be stuck in the past Cheesy

edit pools.txt file

This is SRBMiner-CN mining Stellite (CNv7) with Robinhood's blockchain drivers for Win 7-64, Sapphire RX 470 Nitro+ 8Gb (Samsung) at 1260/2000, auto intensity, worksize 8, threads 2.  GPUs are modded with something that is close to Ubermix 3.1.

which software did you use to BIOS mod?

Code:
cast_xmr-vega --algo=1 -G 0,1 -S stellite.ingest.cryptoknight.cc:16222 -u walletaddress -p Rig2 --opencl=0

i keep getting Rejected share on pool

is my config wrong?

edit: nvm..  i extracted the old miner instead of new from rar file.

But still a problem, I can connect to claymore miner with TCP/ip connection but don't work on your Phoenix , any idea ?  Huh
