2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to buy coin. on: March 08, 2015, 09:22:33 PM
You can buy bitcoins from either exchanges, or directly from other people selling them. You can pay for them in a variety of ways, ranging from hard cash to credit/debit cards to wire transfers, or even with other cryptocurrencies, depending on who you are buying them from and where you live. It's still not easy to buy bitcoins with your credit card or PayPal. This is because such transactions can easily be reversed with a phone call to the card company. Since it's hard to prove any goods changed hands in a transfer of bitcoins, exchanges avoid this payment method and so do most private sellers.  Smiley SmileyBTC Good luck in the bitcoin world.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for local transactions on: March 08, 2015, 09:19:19 PM
Thanks, this is great. I will save this for my next transaction. Bittalk should have more posts like this, where it helps investors like us. Smiley
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you make money with Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2015, 09:17:45 PM
I invest mainly, and I also do a bit of cloud mining. Of course I hold, any smart person would know that.  Wink
5  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin to USD on: March 08, 2015, 09:13:24 PM
Since USD is going up because of oil, and currencies like CAD and EURO are dropping. From now I'm thinking about exchanging BTC to USD, wait until it drops or until CAD catches up and then change it back. Wat y'all think?
6  Economy / Services / Re: GUITAR LESSONS on: March 08, 2015, 09:07:49 PM
Really? 0.5 BTC for 2 hrs. That's so not worth it, I think you should drop your price man.
7  Economy / Services / Re: Little job for 0.05 BTC on: March 08, 2015, 09:05:44 PM
I can help you man. Where are you gonna pay me?
8  Economy / Economics / Re: USA is now number 2 on: March 08, 2015, 09:03:29 PM
Im not suprised at all. The Chinese have some big investors in the bitcoin world too. So t. hat's a good thing for us, and China is actually encouraging its citizens to buy with bitcoins.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: March 08, 2015, 08:41:43 PM
Buy as much as you can, invest them when bitcoin goes up, and you'll be fine. I have a feeling because USD is so good right now, that might be a good thing for BTC. So I would consider changing them for USD before it drops. That's just my opinion.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: March 08, 2015, 08:39:27 PM

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Value vs. The Dollar on: March 08, 2015, 08:36:58 PM
This is normal. Bitcoin is actually pretty stable for once. Hope it will keep this way since USD is very valuable right now.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did you get into BTC and why? on: March 08, 2015, 08:30:40 PM
Thanks for asking!
I got into bitcoin actually from a friend of mine who started in 2009. He told me about it, and I was really fascinated. So I got into it around 2012/2013, can't really remember. At that time, no one was really supporting me, and I just wanted to make some extra cash.  Grin

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2015 be bitcoin’s year? on: March 08, 2015, 08:20:21 PM
Last year was absolutely devastating for bitcoin. Sinked from above $1200 to below $250. I  won't make any prediction but I do think this is a rebound year for bitcoin as countries in Asia, ex. China are making big moves. I certainly hope it will be. Wink
