The wallet from https[Suspicious link removed] does not sync. The wallet from http://marscoin.org/latest/marscoin-wallet.zip syncs but start with the chain from http://108.61.216.160/cryptochainer.chains/chains/Marscoin_blockchain.zip Very fast actually https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/MARS/

[P2P7][...:11180 OUT]Block verification failed, dropping connection Chain is almost synched but every few minutes I get that. Do I have the wrong block at that height and should redownload? Always same hash and block 406.

Not entirely clear if it's accurate but the github seems to go back to the early days of bitcoin pre lite and name coins. If that's accurate then there are some adequate coders who have watched the coin economy for a while and are pouncing. It will all boil down to what features the coin has. It is heavily premined, which is probably irrelevant, even a distraction if the github dates are accurate. Will be interesting to watch.

If you deleted your old wallet.dat then look in your recycle bin and try to restore it. Never send coins to a wallet until you have backed it up. If you don't have a thumb drive then you can have the wallet dump the private key and you can write it on a paper.
