1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: August 08, 2014, 02:29:57 PM
I order with MS Dez. 2013. #120xA and received it last week in Switzerland.
Up and running since then.

Well thats F'ing irritating! i paid on December 2nd 2013, i was #400 in the old system, then i "never got converted" in the new system, ended up with order #2434A. I knew that my delay was just going to be even longer when my order failed to merge in to the new system.

I even contacted their support about this and they assured me that things were shipping in the order they were paid... Bull Sh!t MS!

I paid minersource on 12/2/13 order #400 for 2 X1's, which ultimately turned into #2434A on their new system... i have yet to get any tracking info.. Communication with minersource has been excellent in the past, but i havent been keeping up with this in the last few weeks.. are we still this far behind?

Has everyone read the scam thread? It is starting to raise my concerns a little bit more that if things don't work well they will just vanish during the night.

Where is this scam thread?

And that is something i have feared now for a few months... I'm actually expecting them to just up and vanish, after all of this cluster f*ck I dont expect to ever see my X1's, I'll be shocked if they actually pull through.

i purchased a 48 hour contract. i am currently only 1/4 of the way through it, and this rig is fantastic. I will certainly be interested in purchasing again!
5  Economy / Reputation / Re: Boozer's Rep Thread on: May 14, 2014, 04:38:54 PM
my 12 hour contract just expired this morning on LRP3, and i must say it was pretty solid! Thanks for the excellent service!

Also, I don't think they owe us any compensation. No where did they promise to give compensation if they were late. I'm happy with what they are giving us. I realize some people are not. Everybody can't be happy.

Actually they did...

Black Arrow promises to do its best to offer lower retail price than its competitors and guarantees that in the eventuality of a price decrease before shipment, all preorders will benefit of a proportional increase in hashing power. For this reason the customers who have been with us from the beginning will always receive the best deals.

I am just happy Bobsag3 is on his way soon and all the information that will bring, the pictures and the status. I am sure he will talk to them about the compensation plan aswell.

I agree.... people have bashed bobsag3 and minersource. But truth be told, if it wasn't for him then i would have pulled out long ago.

Matt, i truly appreciate your efforts, you have made a miserable situation more tolerable.

Well this is about the worst news they could have given, no updates really paint a grim picture and put us in the dark. I wonder if they will give an update or make us wait til the 1st for them to say they aren't making the date.

I think the absence of an update pretty much says it all. It doesn't take but 2 seconds to either say, "Hey, we have a working proto, give us a day and we will give you more info" or " HA HA HA we took your money suckers The project has been delayed again".

Anyone else notice how Blackarrow Matt has been MIA for like two months now?

They are training him on how to use a soldering iron so he can make your miners!  Shocked

As I have said before, I am confident that the deadline will be made and shipping will start on time.

and yet the majority of us are not confident... Which is why we would appreciate a 2 second reply from BA as to whether or not they believe they will hit the mark. I am afraid they are avoiding this because they know they wont make it and they know the mass refund requests will begin.
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: April 17, 2014, 05:35:02 PM
chips did not arrive, they need to remake the X1 board, the plastic molds need to be produced. Lets say that the do get everything next week (25 of april)
then they have 3 days (working) to assemble and ship the units and it aint a couple but at least e few hundred.

a dely will be imminent and we will here it in 2 weeks (2e update from now) that there will be another delay..

yep... BA is on schedule for another delay. I am a gambling man, but i know when to pull out. And that time has come. its just 2 weeks away from the next supposed ship date and there is no working prototype. The outcome will either be a rushed miner that was not tested and just slapped together delivered to your door, or another delay will be announced. With the compensation packages coming up short with no revision. It's time to pull my funding from this failure.

Being a BA customer is like renting the downstairs apartment in an outhouse.

^This

With the broken promises and delays, this sums up exactly how i feel. I am finally at the point where i am one more delay away from pulling out completely. Granted i am only in for 2 X-1's, but we are almost halfway through april and BA don't even have a working prototype... Come on BA, this is getting ridiculous.

Seriously I dare anyone to find a single person who has reached a positive ROI using any type of cloudmining.

I have made a positive ROI from cloudhashing... Didn't even have to invest any BTC, just used my referral link and got others to buy GH/s so i could get the referral hash percentage. The only thing it cost me was a few minutes time.  Grin

But back on topic.

The latest news from BS BA does sound like a precursor to another delay. I hope i am wrong though

@Phinnaeus Gage

Thread is tl;dr, but minersource address via "contact us" on website is a UPS store.  Definitely pre-ordering from their page /s

you do realize that its a mail box service provided by UPS, right? Like a post office box...

I've had good experiences with Maidak, I don't see how having Whois protection makes you a scammer...

I have also had good luck with purchasing from Maidak. I have received all the items i purchased from them, and would certainly do business with them again.  The only single problem i have had with them is that on the blue fury order there was supposed to be a .05 btc credit that i never received. but it really wasnt a bid deal to me, i got the product i paid for and am happy.

Won't forwarding the ports for bitcoin-qt give you a lot more nodes?

I have 8333 forwarded
19  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [28 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: November 06, 2013, 02:50:05 PM
yeah, 6 is the default.  restart p2pool and use  --p2pool-node 5.9.24.81 and --p2pool-node 198.12.127.2   ... that'll give you 8 outgoing connections, with guaranteed connection to two good nodes

the shares sound perfectly normal for 13gh/s... just a little bit unlucky

(oh, and you got lucky before that.. isn't it like 12hrs per share on avg?)

There is no doubt i had great luck over the weekend.. i had racked up 10 shares with 2 orphans in 3 days. I was using p2pool a few weeks ago and had similar luck, but bitcoind became corrupted and i had to start all over.

Yes, with 13Gh/s, its showing 13hrs per share on avg
20  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [28 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: November 06, 2013, 02:37:35 PM
is it normal to always only have 6 out connections? i mean, every once in a while i will see 7 or 8, but the majority of the time its only 6.

Im trying to find ways to really improve performance. I had an older machine running my node with just ubuntu server, but my efficiency was terrible, less than 80% after 48 hours. So i switched up to my windows laptop and currently running over 100% at just under 48 hours. my latency has also decreased. but i have only produced 1 share with 13gh/s. When i was running on my slower server i had produced nearly 5 shares 1 orphan in 48 hours.

I just think something is wrong here but i cant pinpoint it.

71.91.202.165:9332 is my node running on a 30Mbps cable connection.
