1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN] ColossusCoinXT COLX - Coin Swap - Fair Launch, no ICO/ IPO! 🚀 Released on: January 09, 2018, 02:19:24 PM
Hey, what kind of team is behind COLX? Couldn't find a list of developers on their website and didn't like their webpage design in general. Not yet convinced if this is something to invest in or not.

I'd also like to buy some COLX but don't have an account in Tradesatoshi and the webpage doesn't let you register. Coinsmarkets site is down. Any other suggestions where to buy some?  Grin

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold Bitcoins or buy Altcoins with it on: January 08, 2018, 07:29:32 PM
I have have 50% of my investments in BTC, 30% in "lower risk" altcoins such as XMR and LTC and with the rest I'm speculating on "high risk" altcoins with low market cap and supply basically achieve faster and bigger gains than with BTC. I definitely recommend to diversify!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Wanchain - Connecting blockchains to exchange value on: January 08, 2018, 07:15:30 PM
I missed the ICO and now hoping to buy some once it hits the exchanges. Not sure though what would still be an appropriate price to pay since the ICO price was .35 cents... Or should one rather wait couple of days before buying. Trying to figure out a good strategy.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: January 08, 2018, 07:09:17 PM
I'm just waiting for some news or updates from the team... The best news would be that XLM would get picked up by Coinbase!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PreICO] WaBi (蛙币) coin backed 🔥 by safe products in China on: January 08, 2018, 06:48:28 PM
I'm an early adopter but just bought myself some more WABI despite of it being at its ATH. The token price has 4x in the past few months but I definitely still see lots of growth potential in 2018. Wishing the team all the best!!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which one is best investment: bitcoin or bitcoin cash? on: December 26, 2017, 08:29:24 AM
long term bitcoin and only bitcoin and nothing else.

short term bitcoin but also at specific times bitcoin cash. and also by extension all the other altcoins out there.
now this "specific times" that i mentioned is the times when the whales are advertising these altcoins and pumping them hard. in 99% of the times, this happens during the times that bitcoin price is stable. like right now that bitcoin moves up and down less than 10%. during times like this every trader looks for altcoins to pump and make up for the time by gaining a huge profit.
they move from coin to coin, so don't get stuck with only one all the time.

I got into crypto last summer when I put some money BTC and ETH. Currently I have 50% invested in BTC and the rest in LTC, XMR, XML. BTC is the only one that I personally truly believe in at the moment, however, as a student I would really love to gain some profit the next months with the alts. I just always feel that I'm "too late" for buying any of them like IOTA, WAVES, STRAT, OMG... Currently some other students that I know are hyping QSP, ONION, NET(NIM) and Wanchain. Do you have any advice/opinions on these alts? I've been reading lots of threads here and on reddit and trying to find out what the "more experienced" crypto enthusiast are doing but it's still quite hard to learn to spot the right coins on time. Thank you in advance!!
