1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] carVertical - Car History Registry Built on Blockchain technology on: March 10, 2024, 01:19:33 PM
Same here... Bought some thousands cV Tokens in 2018 and can't use them in my MetaMask wallet. I think that there is a V2 born some years ago. I don't know how to move my cV to the new V2 version and you can't read anything about it on the internet.

So sad...

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Look for mining pools with ease on: April 16, 2018, 10:24:04 AM
TY all for the mega feedback over the feedback button on the site. I added 5 pools so far with many coins. Examples: Nist5 algo (Bulwark - antminepool) or X17 algo (Verge / Shield from nlpool).

The more input comes, the more everyone benefits.

Hey folks,

I want to introduce you the worlds largest algo pool coin search site: www.algopools.com. I’ve searched for known mining pools and put them together to presented them regarding their supported coins within their algorithms. You can use the search box to filter fast any values you can imagine. Search for coins, algos or pools, anything is possible.

I ask you for your help: If you know a pool or a coin that you are missing, then report it to me via the red button at the top of the page. I add your reported pool or coin as soon as possible.
The subpages like ‘Exchanges’ or ‘Wallets’ are a good addition to the Mining main page and complete the picture on the subject.

I hope you like it. I'm not the best developer, but I've been looking for a site that shows all the current mining pools, but no good ones found so far. So I decided to develop by my own.

The site tries to keep itself up with ads from Google Adsense and links to Amazon.

The site is currently available in English. For any suggestion and criticism feel free to contact me. Feedback here welcome, too!

Cheers,
Vincent from Germany

Hi there,

can someone help me?

Have a Moonlander 2 and want to mine DGB at zpool.
Here my config:

./bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://scrypt.mine.zpool.ca:3433 -u <wallet address> -p c=DGB -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=600

> Mac OS x 10.13
> Disabled SIP, installed UART VPC Driver (v5), reactivated SIP afterwards
> Software: bfgminer-5.4.2-futurebit2-mac64

Error message at startup: [2018-01-19 18:48:06] Waiting for devices; press 'M+' to add, or 'Q' to quit

He can't find my device. Already tried M + all and so on... No chance...

TY in advance,
Vincent

Hi there quite new to this and have a question.

Have a Moonlander 2, running with the following information:

  • Mac OS x 10.13
  • Disabled SIP, installed UART VPC Driver (v5), reactivated SIP afterwards
  • Software: bfgminer-5.4.2-futurebit2-mac64
  • Command within moonlander-script: ./bfgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://s1.theblocksfactory.com:9004 -u NAME.SUFFIX -p x -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=660

I am disapointed because after let the miner run over the night (about 8h) I gained 0.4 DGB only.

This is my outcome in terminal:

I have nearly never seen a string like "accepted" or sth like that...

In my opinion I have problems with my difficulty. But the page "My workers" is described so difficult. I am sure if you better this site you'll get less support-questions.
I try to geht a vardiff on my worker but up to now no chance how to do so...

Can you help me please?

TY in advance,
Vincent

12  Bitcoin / Armory / Armory stays and stays offline! on: December 26, 2017, 08:04:26 AM
Dear friends,

new to Armory but have some PC-Knowledge. Nevertheless I am not able to get Armory at Windows 10 Pro 1709 (Build 16299.125) online.
Here step by step, what I have already done:

  • Downloaded and installed latest Armory from bitcoinarmory.com (0.96.3-beta-2b65ac0648) and created a wallet
  • Downloaded, installed and synchronised (about 6 hours) Bitcoin Core from bitcoin.org/de/download (v 0.15.1 - 64 Bit)
  • Moved folder 'Bitcoin' from c:\Programme\Bitcoin to c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin
  • Deleted 'databases' folder (was empty) within Armory instal dir (hint found here)
  • startet 'bitcoin-qt.exe' manually and also 'bitcoind.exe' and 'bitcoin-cli.exe' to test (hint found here)
  • Set properties from Armory-Client (Checkbox 'Let Armory run...') and also set two dirs: Instal and Home dir to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin (But testet also without these dirs)

My Armory Client has only one register called 'Dashboard' and within I can see two bars 'Preparing Databases' and beneath 'Scan Transaction History'.
On the bottom right corner stands 'Offline' in brown letters.

My latest logfile says (Warning and Error only):

2017-12-26 08:24:44 (WARNING) -- SDM.pyc:509 - bitcoind exited, bitcoind STDOUT:
2017-12-26 08:24:44 (WARNING) -- SDM.pyc:511 -
2017-12-26 08:24:44 (WARNING) -- SDM.pyc:512 - bitcoind exited, bitcoind STDERR:
2017-12-26 08:24:44 (WARNING) -- SDM.pyc:514 -
2017-12-26 08:24:52 (WARNING) -- SDM.pyc:439 - Spawning bitcoind with command: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\daemon\bitcoind.exe -datadir=C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin
2017-12-26 08:24:52 (ERROR) -- BDM.pyc:199 - DB error: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming/Bitcoin/blocks is not a valid path

I can see here both, slash and backslash in the DB path! Is that correct?

I am extremely missing a 'How to setup' or 'First instal' section. The Video-Help files are old and not helpful.

Thank you all in advance for your help,
Vincent from Germany
