4  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to make a girl fall for you? on: May 17, 2025, 11:21:31 AM
Don't act, relax and be you. If she likes you then it will happen. This stuff takes time, and remember if it finally happens you will beg her to leave you. So don't rush
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is it so hard to live fairly in this world? on: May 17, 2025, 11:14:38 AM

7  Other / Off-topic / Re: FinShaggy - Who Remembers When Bitcoin Was $5 Each? on: May 17, 2025, 11:08:47 AM
I haven't seen the $5 but I had 5 BTC when it was $6000.
And sold them all with $400 profit.
Invested that money is a couple of ICOs and magically turned my money to around $1000 which I spend for urgent accident that happened for me and that gone as well
My money would not be turn into this loss in if I even burned them, all scammy icos turned my life into disaster.
And that's the story of my 5 BTCs which lasted around 3 hours in my wallet and I sold them.

9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who's attending token2049 in Dubai? on: May 17, 2025, 10:59:30 AM
On X this morning, it looks like everyone in crypto is in Dubai for Token2049.

Why all the hype?
First of all, Dubai. Second of all, one of the biggest events, if not (I'm not sure here). Also many famous and big names are attending as speakers.

In the end, it really depends. You see, like a regular conference, some may attend just to spend time there. Nice city, good service, and show. Some, as it was mentioned before, are waiting for some big announcements to stimulate the market.

It was fun, lots of connections, Think about any Big project and they were there. The city is cool too, managed to grab some merch from my fav platform and also attended some gatherings.. would I attend next year's edition, hell yes..

Man I wish I had the money...  Cry
This looks so fun.
How much all of this costed?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are saying that it is going to be the biggest altseason since 2017? on: May 17, 2025, 10:53:43 AM
Liquidity in the market is enough to bring the biggest altseason.

However, the market is still showing uncertainty and the price is staggering.

I've been waiting for real altseason but haven't seen the proper altcoin pumping yet.

I know there was massive pumping for some of the alt tokens but it looks completely different than 2021 or 2017.

What makes it different to those years?

It was so different back in 2017, you could pump even ETH with just 20 million and start a rally. Most tokens pumped with silly profits of a whale and you could barely miss one. Any token do 100x easy.
Now there are thousands of tokens, liquidity diversed on all of them. Now matter how much money you inject into the market, it's impossible for any of them to do 100x.
That time is gone
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why airdrop is making a lot of traders reconsider on: May 17, 2025, 10:47:52 AM
I miss those old days. One simple sign up or app install and they gave you sweet money
Now it's really hard to find a decent airdrop

It will definitely be massive.  Sell only if you have a problem to solve or a project to execute. Don't sell in order to have funds to rebuy when the market is down. It might never come, the 4 year cycle might be altered. Time for panick selling is gone in BTC.

Dude, who are you to tell the HODLers when to sell and when not to sell? Grin They can decide on their own.
I can't agree that there would never be any panic selling on the Bitcoin market ever again. New retail investors are entering the cryptocurrency markets every day. Most of them are lacking experience and they would totally panic, if something negative happens and FUD starts dominating the markets.
Also the big whales and institutional investors might start selling big amounts of BTC at some point, not because they are panicking, but because they want to sell high and buy low, taking advantage of the retail investors panic selling.

BTC is FUD proof now, nothing can affect it. Real money is invested on it from governments, institutions, etc.
Now everyone are checking if institutions buy or sell crypto and follow them, this is driving market now. As long as they keep buying people will buy and keep holding, the problem occurs when they sell. That's when the tanking starts.
