1  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin whales selling to institutions as Grayscale adds 7,188 BTC in 24 hours on: December 12, 2020, 06:24:00 PM
We are moving from "whales" situation in crypto where we didn't know who exactly had too many bitcoins in tens of thousands, to more like a company owned huge chunks instead and I don't know which one is better.

We didn't know who owned bitcoin in those large numbers back in the day, we still don't know many of them and that was the bad part but the bad part about companies going in is even if we know how much they know, we also leave the price to a centralized situation, if grayscale decides to sell every single coin they have today, they could crash the price right away.

Back when it was just some whales, they usually never moved all at once, which means harder crashes by whales, but here we are giving that power to some companies and that's scary.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 12, 2020, 05:45:48 PM
For example prizes are converted into cash or create an auction on multiple auction sites or another way
I think stake already talked about how they would be willing to give money instead of lambo to the person who picks it. They specifically said they would love to give the lambo away instead of cash prize because let's be honest that would be a lot better in marketing world, if you could give someone a lambo and they could take some pictures with it that would result with stake sharing there everywhere on social media and even on their website and all over the internet as "look at this guy who won lambo from us" and that would be awesome, they can't really do that with cash honestly, what are they going to do share a wallet screen shot?

Hence, they "rather" give the lambo and maybe make it a bit more tempting with some offers but in the end as long as person picks cash, they will probably give in bitcoin form instead of lambo.

^With the emails you get, the best ones are usually ones when you do not gamble for a long time. I haven't had a big break in a while and have been gambling pretty consistently, however there was a period when I didn't gamble for over 6 months here, it was more like a period where I cared about trading more and stopped gambling and basically gambled with trading, which wasn't as guaranteed to lose all your money but I guessed I traded in the wrong period and didn't ended up with a decent return.

However when I got a mail from here with a good offer, I couldn't refuse it and gambled it all away and then some. I can honestly say that even though trading at least gave me over half of my money back versus losing it all here, I had a lot more fun here for sure.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe in bitcoin/altcoin market stock predictions? on: December 12, 2020, 04:26:23 PM
First of all it is not "stock", it is bitcoin and crypto in general, stocks are based on companies, there is no company here it is just currencies. There is no "market/stock price for bitcoin increasing" because it is not a stock. If you do not know that difference, you need to learn a lot more about bitcoin, and if you don't do that and just keep it going this way, you are going to lose a lot of money from lack of information.

I highly suggest you end up with a lot of studying before you make any move. Great thing about crypto is the fact that you are going to make a lot of profit if you actually put in the time and effort into it, all the people I know that worked hard to be part of this market for years became actually part of the market and made some profit, so give the time and work hard and your efforts will provide yield.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what successfull trading tips have worked with you so far ? on: December 11, 2020, 07:21:29 PM
I can say that the best ones you will get will be the ones you least expect. Usually the good ones are known ones, the common and sounds like it makes sense but doesn't really go into detail and you know them even before you hear them but you just want more.

Things like "buy low, sell high" sounds like it is common logic, but there are people who saw bitcoin price at 7k and didn't buy as recently as just few months ago, they were afraid price would go down even more, and they failed to buy, or people who bought there but not selling right now for example. Long story short things you will get as advice will sound simple and they will be good as well, you do not need anything new or marginal to make a profit, or at least not as far as I know, do not look for secrets, go for the common sense ones.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we gonna see a new ATH this year? on: December 11, 2020, 06:45:30 PM
Altcoins would need a lot more time and a lot more hype as well to reach those levels. I believe with ethereum 2.0 and defi world getting bigger and transactions costing a lot less we could actually see this type of increase. 2020 is not the year that will happen, there is only 3 weeks left, but 2021 could be that year if we work on it. Look at how many tokens and how many projects are spending money and time on ethereum blockchain, which tells us that we are really getting bigger as a group even if not at the all time high levels just yet.

This is why I think we are on the right path but we are nowhere near the finish line, we just have to wait a lot longer and not mistake our path, if we continue down this road without any problem or forgetting our goal, we will definitely reach all time high in all coins.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about USDT? on: December 11, 2020, 06:09:44 PM
I just hope nobody gets screwed over because of this. I do not like centralized things that are based on centralized organizations. Today tether only has a value because tether company says so, and that's it. The day when tether says "from now on we are not backing usdt anymore, we are cutting all our ties with it" or simply put just exit scam it, usdt suddenly will worth one cent or even less and we are going to end up losing sooooo much money, over 10 billion dollars gone in a single day.

Now I understand you may say why would they do that, but how do you know they won? Since all of this is possible, I hate usdt and would like to never use it. I sometimes use it to move money around but I would like to change it to DAI very soon hopefully because it is fully decentralized.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH then correction of 35%+ on: December 11, 2020, 05:08:12 PM
We had the ATH, I know many people do not agree with it because we have bounced over it for like a hundred dollars or something, but the official all time high is now 2020 and not 2017 and people can't really talk about 2017 anymore like it was a special thing, we had it once again and even more, I understand that we didn't go well and beyond it, I understand there were some places in 2017 that was much higher than the official number we have now, but it is still broken and that is the ATH.

However there is absolutely no 35% fall at all, maybe one day it will happen, maybe if we keep failing to move upwards like this constantly there will be some short futures that will try to crash the market and liquidate the long futures in order to profit, but for now we had only one of this.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: When moon? ($500k / $1 million / $2 million) on: December 10, 2020, 06:25:26 PM
These prices would make bitcoin the biggest market cap in anything we have seen and doesn't really make sense at all. I would understand if it was 50 years from now, because by that time everything else will be expensive too and that means bitcoin could go up as well, however it can't happen anytime soon, nowhere near those levels could happen anytime soon. Hence, I think it is going to be decades before we see these prices.

I understand there are some people who think just because we moved from few dollars to $20k in just 10 years, we could do that again in 10 years as well, that type of % only happens during the early days, you need to be early bird to take advantage of these type of increases, you are not going to get it again just because it did it once upon a time.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun & Altoin bear market on: December 10, 2020, 05:01:38 PM
Altcoins are not in a bear market, have you seen the prices lately? It is really doing awesome right now and they are all at least 2x higher than they used to be few months ago. Just because there has been a few drops here and there you can't just call it a big drop neither, it is something expected. That is why I honestly think that we should be calm about this and just assume that everything will go up until we are proven otherwise.

It is like law, where people are innocent until proven guilty, that is the same thing in crypto as well because it is going up until proven to be in a bear market and goes down 50%, until that happens I will keep believing that it is going up. That is the only way we could see bitcoin going really high really quickly.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is why btc will die as a crypto on: December 10, 2020, 10:09:36 AM
I get that people hate the transaction times and costs, for smaller amount of money that is actually something very very bad for us, even if you could send 10 million dollars for 10 dollars which is cheaper than anywhere else, you are still spending like 5 dollars for 50 dollars as well and that part is worse. Which is why I think it is quite important that we figure out a way to make it cheaper, if we continue to make it more expensive this way, if we show more and more interest and get more people involved and move bitcoin around more, this is only going to get slower and more expensive.

Lightning network, proof of stake, or whatever they can do, bitcoin needs to move to a direction where it is instant and almost free. If we can do that technologically, that means we are going to have bitcoin over $20k instantly.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Is corona virus crisis changing economical equations around the world? on: December 10, 2020, 09:18:15 AM
Looking at the big world powers testing the vaccines first, being able to afford it most, and basically have the economy to close shop and wait for it to pass most.

I would have to say that nothing would make a world power go down as much as you think it would. Sure Europe will get vaccine from UK a lot later, probably politics related stuff but it is still Europe getting it and not central Africa, you think they do not have any corona virus cases? They probably do not have a way of testing it while others are already moving to vaccination period. So long story short world powers will never give up their seats and they are willing to use politics to hurt other nations and let their people die just to prove to their people that they are the strongest in the world.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Valid Business Model? on: December 10, 2020, 08:44:35 AM
Being the middleman has always been a big deal for people, there has been tons of business ideas like for example airbnb that doesn't own a single house (I assume, or at least very few) but rents other peoples houses and make money from that. Unfortunately the biggest problem these type of business ideas have is the simple fact that you need to be wanted and requested and get a lot of attention for others to join you.

For example, in the construction business you need to find places to actually want to deal with you for you to be able to send your business to others and take the difference, if you can't find business and market yourself well enough, that means you are not going to profit. All those middleman places gets big because they are very well known and wanted in their industry.

talk for yourself. i am talking for myself.  dont need to show u proof. are you gonna give me cash if i do. ? some of you just come here to type without thinking
Who the heck is going to believe you if you aren't ready to provide any proof and act arrogant on top of that? Grow a brain and learn to make a compelling argument before trying to complain here and there.
Unfortunately casinos are filled with degenerates, that is the number one problem these places have, it is like running a bar and dealing with drunks, it comes with the job but you make money from them so you continue your life finding ways to avoid them as much as possible. Think about it this way, if there were no people that complained about casinos being rigged, there wouldn't be that much money to be made from them neither.

You need people who have zero clue how casinos work and in the end lose all their money and complain that their money was "stolen" in a provably fair casino, just so the casino can continue to function and profit. Hence, I do not see these kinds of people as a problem, I see them as a solution because they leave their money to casinos to make them richer.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PSG vs. Istanbul Basaksehir the AFTERMATH and PREDICITONS on: December 09, 2020, 06:18:38 PM
I think there is a big difference between saying the "n word" in a football match and using a different language, ref defended himself saying that "black person" means "negru" in Romanian which does sound eerily close enough to the n word in English but there wasn't any need for it neither. Webo basically countered it very smartly by saying "you do not say that white guy, why did you have to say that black guy?" and that makes sense.

I am sure ref didn't want to sound racist, his intentions weren't racist neither, he probably just had a laps in judgment and said the wrong thing and he should have apologized for it and let himself be changed from the VAR if he could, to make things easier. At least we all know game still goes on tonight, and that is going to be a proof to teams that if there is any racism in the field, you could just walk out.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best way to trade with Bitcoin approaching $20K? on: December 09, 2020, 05:43:56 PM
Resistance wasn't that strong, the psychology to go over $20k was too strong. We have broken over a lot more resistances and a lot harder resistances because the price wasn't that big. I remember there were days when $9.2k had record breaking resistance that required so much money that we never saw that much money injected into crypto that easily, but we broke over it thanks to both people spending too much money buying but also sellers removing their orders and making the wall a lot smaller to break over.

The same could have happened for $20k and could still happen, we do not have a big wall at all, it is a wall we can easily break over with no time. However we need to first convince people to realize we are not in a bad situation, when they see $20k many people assume they should take out their profits and that needs to stop if we want to go above.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex brokers that accept bitcoin. (like 1broker) on: December 09, 2020, 04:51:27 PM
Forex is already dangerous, crypto is dangerous on top of that, doing forex trading with crypto would be double dangerous. You are getting square root of dangerous with one move. I would say if you are in crypto, stay in crypto, if you want to move to forex then move to forex but do not do both of them together somehow. You could really lose a lot and there is no reason for that.

I am sure there will be a market for frex with crypto eventually, instead of spending dollars or any other fiat you use, you will be capable of spending bitcoin on the moves you make, it will probably exactly be like any other forex website but instead of fiat there will be a market for crypto. Until that moment do not use fiat forex places that accepts crypto because it is neither nor situation there.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of trader are you - Day Trader or Swing Trader? on: December 09, 2020, 03:23:40 PM
Investor? I mean how could you not put the most known version of it as an option here? I am an investor, I buy bitcoin time to time, it all depends on how much money I have, sometimes I have none at all and do not put any money into it, sometimes I have a lot and put it all on bitcoin and sometimes I have just a bit so I put that. I even had times when I had no money at all and had a debt to pay so I did that.

Now I am working freelance from my home with my PC and my PC is very old and doesn't work properly, it acts up and crashes all the time which makes job so much more difficult, I even had to start all over again because of it few times, next time I cash out my bitcoin savings will be to buy a new PC. I just see bitcoin as savings account for myself.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which DEX do you believe will be the most used 2 years from now, and why? on: December 08, 2020, 09:44:20 AM
All of these "dex's" in the list are not even proper dex actually, they are dex in the sense of blockchain world but they still have a team above it that could change everything whenever they want. Whereas uniswap is not like that, they have a governance token which means they give the power to people, you do not see it on binance dex or anything like that.

Give some rich man enough money potential and they will find a way to make dex a lot more cex than it could. So, I think at one point uniswap will move beyond everything else and will have billions traded there all the time, that at least would be something I can see and truly decentralized at the same time as well. Not really guaranteed thing but would make a lot more logical sense to me that way.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum updated 2020 high on: December 08, 2020, 09:12:38 AM
Obviously it will continue, 2021 will be the year for 2021 and I mean THE year for 2021, it is going to be so great and it is going to have so much increases that people will start selling while whales keep buying because they will think it "can't" go any higher. Which will turn out to be wrong, because it is going to be so much higher and so much more, at the end we are in a situation where ethereum can go over 2000 dollars and still would continue go up.

This is not only something that will make ethereum go up because of the news, but it is also something that will continue go up for a long time without ever dropping as well. I hope that people will realize the continuous increase of the ethereum price due to the proof of stake deal and how it will always be profitable to hold it.
