I love the project but cannot see how it can compete with the likes of Ethereum when combined with Raiden and Casper. Yes, the implementation for those with Ethereum is at least a year away but to me that just means GoChain's cycle will come to a stop there.
Someone please help me understand how GoChain can potentially be permanent .

Marketing was and always will be trash for XVG. I thought Mindgeek was going to 'agressively market' XVG? Maybe they are waiting until there is a FIAT to XVG option, and if that option ever becomes available, it will be after a bunch of other higher tier coins.
Its just so frustrating to see how little volume XVG is receiving. How do you get over a billion one day and then a few days later it cannot even crack 100million?
Sigh.

It is true that once the overall market goes up, verge will follow. It is such a promising and popular project. It's just one of those coins that the average investor will want in their portfolio. Not to mention the day traders that follow the pumps.
THIS. Completely agree. I bought XVG when it was under a penny. Still holding will hold strong. if you bought XVG within the past month, despite what the price is now, I can almost guarantee that you got it a good pricepoint. Don't stress about the price on a daily basis and keep holding. It is a good project that most traders will be involved in simply because of its popularity and being listed on so many exchanges already. It is easy to get. HODL. |

It is about 70 % increased price than yesterday, what happened?
Whats happened? This coin is just launched and it have the best Transaction Per Second (TPS) of every blockchain. Comparing:Bitcoin: 4 TPS Ethereum: 10 TPS EOS: 300.000 TPS Credits: 1.000.000 TPSSo I think it can be much higher.. In june they launch Credits.. High expectations about this coin. Haha that's bullshit, totally SCAM Credits CAN'T and COULDN'T handle 1000000 TPS IOTA promised the same, how much they can handle now? 5 tps?¿  Are you seriously bringing up IOTA? Have you even been looking at their progress? They are putting in a lot of work as well as physical presentations in big cities of their progress and scrums. I went to one myself in NYC. Unlike an ERC20 based token, IOTA cannot rely on the blockchain to determine a TPS. We need more transactions and congestion within the Tangle to compare anything else with IOTA as i'm pretty sure you are aware that the tangle/IOTA tps only gets faster with more traffic. |

Ahh GoNetwork. Just remembered about this ICO today. They really caught my interest and I was leaning heavily toward an ICO investment but my interest went down quickly after I saw the Telegram screenshot of Xun Cai supposedly saying how the ICO is all about the money and after this ICO they will just build another big ICO. Not sure if those were legitimate screenshots or faked, can anyone confirm here?
I'm also being cautious as this is a very young team, however, young successful entrepreneurs within the mobile app department. No evident experience within the blockchain yet so really will not be surprised if they are just in it for quick money.

Idk, forget about patience wearing thin, all this delay just seems like BS to me. Like they are still searching for the best exit strategy. Like I understand they were bad at communicating at first, but this lack of communication continues. After how they screwed up, they should be posting an update every single day if not every other day. The update can just be them letting us know they are still working and a bit of a status update every now and then.

I consider buying some Verge. However I have seen some verge review, that says they have an unreliable development team. Is that true or is it just a FUD ?
This is true. Lots of missed promises and deadlines in the past. Lots of? Missed Promises? Couple of dead lines i can agree with but 'Lots of'? Is your comment sarcastic? |

Correct me if I am wrong, but at the current USD price, shouldn't the swapped coin-FGC's price be around 90cents to $1 to uphold the same value currently?
Based on my calculation of the marktetcap, the price is looking to be around 35cents range after the coin swap. Any insight on this?

asap, the market will hit quite a dip over the next few weeks/months, a lot of coins lost value last night and it will continue, you will be better to sell now, and then buy back again in a week when it's dropped to 30 sat, xgox is going to be a good investment for later in the year but im predicting a tough couple of months Yeah I sold half the day it pumped for 120satoshis so basically made my money back =D |

So can anyone give me some more insight as to how/if Verge is more anonymous than Monero? A guy went on rant to me by saying how verge has a lot of laws and shouldn't even be a privacy coin. Supposedly Verge will not work in countries that block TOR, but shouldn't it be okay through i2P?

Is the token sale completely finished? I was under the assumption that just the Pre-sale with minimum 5 ETH was completed and the public sale with minimum .5 ETH is on the 29th? Is that not happening anymore due to reaching the hardcap? Thanks |

Why is there still no ANN thread? The project looks like one of the top promising ICOs of 2018. They need to get in here quick with the ICO starting in just 10 days.

About the down time ,
Time : 2018-01-19
First let us explain what is coinsmarkets , we are based on 2 investor , 1 admin , 1 coder , 2 senior support and 4 general support .
In November last year 1 of senior support left the team , It is hard enough to hire a new one , this work is based on a lot of trust , so we still waiting for correct condidat .
Now let's move to the issue , in December we experienced a lot of new users and huge volume , we were ready for double or even triple volume but in our case it was 10x +.
From here all kind of problem start with servers ,
Now add to that the last senior support remaining have some family issue and was forced to be off most of the time .
In addition to all that there was some db corruption issue we faced due to the overload and later hosting issue.
So a lot of work to do with a lot of missing stuff.
Please understand that in exchange you can't just go and hire someone and trust him millions of dollars .
We are sorry for lack of comunication about issue we have thought that people already trust us enough , and we invested 100% of time in restoring the site .
Now issue with hosting , hosting complained about a lot of fraud report from users about our service . We find this really hard to explain , it is clear that not even a single coin has moved from our wallets , and once again we are here to stay ,
We have not even released 10% of our road map , there is a lot of new future to be added in the nearest future.
A week ago we started negoation with new host that can accept similar service , we initiated the move ,
The Database was fixed yesterday night .
Now remain to setup new servers , few fix here and there and service will be restored ,
We write our news only in coinsmarkets news section , any twitter , chat msg etc is a scam ,
Again Official Coinsmarkets message are written only in coinsmarkets news section .

Everyone relax! The crypto dip was caused by Mike Bell of JP Morgan claiming governments could ban cryptocurrencies. WELL.... how? This is the same company that called bitcoin a fraud.it's a bank FFS. They are rightfully terrified of what we are doing but it CAN'T be stopped.
