2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: December 31, 2017, 05:23:16 PM
Well, at its current state,  i only see bad things about to happen to it. Like people and whales transferring to more capable currencies despite of how the prices of bitcoin has increased this year. Which will make bitcoin fall slowly. But if lightning network really does deliver, i think bitcoin will really shine brighter. Brighter than it has ever shined. That is what i am sure of and hope will happen.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: December 31, 2017, 05:12:36 PM
There are so many advantaged of bitcoin, actually bitcoin can help people to regain and to extend or grow their financial stabilities, first bitcoin can be send or transact with other person without any effort you just need to use bitcoin wallet unlike banks, and also bitcoin can be used in buying items. Many people wanted bitcoin because of its high value you can change bitcoin to regular currency with double price, and now bitcoin is rapidly increasing interms of it users ,investors and value, that's why bitcoin has many advantages compared to other currencies.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 04:19:51 PM
I think it is not a good idea because we all know that in trading it is very risky to pit money because you can't say if you're going to win or to earn. Sometimes we didn't know the true attitude of our costumers and we didn't know if they are going to scam us. And may lead us to fall down. I think that kind of strategy isn't hoing to work also for those who are only beginners.

John, you should look up the thread in the newbies section that has the same graphic. It's more up-to-date and has more detail.
Also someone needs to do up a blurb on the Trust system that I only just noticed existed today, if it hasn't been done already.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: December 31, 2017, 05:00:53 AM
Common answers why people sell bitcoins is for the reason that people need it and they need to buy something else. May it be something like small or not, people need to sell because probably they have invested and earned much already. And it is not bad to sell it if you have enough or you are okay with it. You can sell some and allow other bitcoins to be on hold so it will continue to grow.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 04:51:39 AM

I think the sweet-spot for buying is under the $ 2000 mark. Due to current unstability because of August 1st, although this is also a big opportunity for buying cheaper, I would deposit fiat to exchange and then wait for August 1st. If the price drops to $ 1500 or so, buy it straight away. If not, wait a week after Aug 1st and then when BTC stabilizes, go buy.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 04:42:10 AM
You better wait for a little more since its market value at this moment is continuously falling. Patiently check for its market value daily and when its market price started to rise, that's the best time to buy Bitcoin because your investment will go along with the increase of its price in the market so profit will be earned as its price, rise.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: December 31, 2017, 04:23:59 AM
Bitcoin is most popular cryptocurrency because it was mother of cryptocurrency or the first cryptocurrency ever made, Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto. Also some coin just copying the algorithm, etc or just develop what's already in the bitcoin and make his own coin. But some cryptocurrency actually have really good features which is bitcoin don't have.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 03:57:55 AM
Most of people is always ready conservatively. They very watchfully perceive any innovations, hardly change the habits, especially concerning investments. In each circle of familiar people there is a small percent of early followers who the first test new technologies. Conservatives always wait what consequences of application of innovations on the example of early followers will be. And having only convinced that innovations bear only improvements, advantages outweigh all shortcomings, only then they are connected to early followers. This turning point marks widespread introduction of technology.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 03:24:45 AM
these are based on my opinion. Bitcoin is banned to some countries because the government believe that bitcoin is used to buy illigal things. Also they ban bitcoin because they cannot control it, they cannot put tax on it, another reason is because bitcoin is to unstable, its price suddenly goes up and down. These are my opinions why bitcoin are banned in some countries
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: December 31, 2017, 03:13:06 AM
Because Goverments have own,non-comercial national banks, wich are connected with comercial banks, these banks control  economical environment and Financial-Monetary stability. First of all,I hope that developed countries will not do this, because for this regulations, they need to have reasonable, proportionate legal basis, wich they have not. this ,,arguable'' system olso  serves to public interests, improves economical-social relationships and offers financial nuance, wich other centralized  institutions can not afford.Goverments said that bitcoin leads to increase of cyber crime but we all understand that it's possible to eliminate by appropriate state resources.needed to be free will from politican institutions. In my opinion, goverments must not  confront so many people's  profitable-oriented interests. In general, interrelations wich are not regulated and prohibited by law are considered admissible.it is not a good reason, that bitcoin is decentralized.the prerogative of countries are people and not bank or other financial institution(private sector)
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: December 31, 2017, 02:08:37 AM
I think Bitcoin's can't make the banks disappear at least in our nearest future, because banks are having already a very big community using and supporting it's services till now. But in time it's possible that Bitcoin will be used more than banks

15  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: December 30, 2017, 10:16:52 PM
Currently, it is difficult to import the private key into bitcoin.  Sipa's showwallet branch has a new command called "importprivkey" that accepts the base-58 encoded private key.  Vanitygen has been tested to work with that version of bitcoin, although it had to be restarted to get the imported vanity address to show up on the list in the GUI.

I've just pushed a bugfix, and can't reproduce the problem now. Could you try again?

PS: yes, it's quite normal your code is a lot faster - the vanity patch just tried generating random keys until a match was found, requiring generating 256 random bits + an EC multiplication per attempt. Your code only needs an EC addition per attempt.
16  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: labcoin lawsuit on: December 30, 2017, 09:24:02 PM
It can take up to five years to finish legal proceedings (including the time needed for investigation). Add to this that Italian courts and authorities are known for being notoriously slow in handling cases (sometimes this fact is used as a strategy by international lawyers to slow down proceedings in national cases, otherwise known as the 'Italian torpedo'). I think it is safe to say that expecting answers in a month time is very unrealistic.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you earn money online? on: December 30, 2017, 09:02:45 PM
Earn Money with Online or Earn Money Online (like btc)

If With online just joined PTC who give me $$, if Money Online... i usually take faucet, after that Check the My Account (mining)   Cool

So am I likely to make any money out of mining pools? Or even mining? Or should I just stick to selling stuff?
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Life with out money ? on: December 29, 2017, 10:26:07 PM

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Offering PayPal for Bitcoin? You're likely to be labeled a scammer - Read why on: December 29, 2017, 10:19:51 PM
PayPal seems like a nightmare for sellers, but is pretty nice for buyers.

And sometimes it's easier to sell a good product when your buyer knows he can reverse the payments if necessary.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: December 29, 2017, 10:13:21 PM
If I have invested money in altcoins then I never hold them too long and sell whenever its giving me at least some profits as it can be bought again when price dumps and bitcoin is an long term investment for me so I will not sell till it achieves my desired price and till that time I will keep them safe in my wallet.
