1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MTC] [Docademic] Doc Speculation on: May 08, 2019, 11:23:15 AM
I participated their bounty long time ago. And I sold most of my MTC before it went to moon( Project was very great with real usage. Is there any information about the real usage of their telemedicine application?
Aww, you really lost out, MTC is one of the token I will forever appreciate in life for the opportunity I got to participate in their bounty, I got about 1500 of their tokens through my bounty and I sold them when the market reached its ATH of about 0.3 I think, which I have bought triple of the quantity they gave me back after the price dropped.

The project is really a good one, and the team are quite very hardworking, but I don’t know what is stepping their value down, probably because of the bear market, because I would not say its dumping that caused it, most of the participant like me that took our profit out has already out it back and eve invested more because of the trust I have in their future.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is advertising for ICOs unethical? on: May 08, 2019, 10:49:45 AM
I don't think the amount for promotion is big like that. Advertising for ICOs is not that big imo, for twitter, facebook and in this forum, you only need to hire a bounty manager to manage it and maybe it takes 5k-10k usd. For ads on google and social media, maybe a bit bigger. Promotion is not really cost big like what you said.
That figure is just an exaggerated one and way over exaggerated, no project developer will use such amount, that amount is more than enough to build another project if cost of building project is that cheap that they will use 1 million dollars for project and 9 million dollars for promo, if it were to be so, majority of bounty hunter would become so reach by now.

Before that bounty hunting use to pay its hunters, the highest they even budget for all their campaigns is $500,000, not to talk of now that majority of them are now stingy and would want us to work for them for penny.

4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Africa buy and sell of Crypto on the increase? on: April 03, 2019, 08:54:43 PM
In addition to the site that op provided in his submission, you can equally found out that there are huge crypto currency transaction going on via remitano.com  which you can confirm that yourself. And I believe it is a good sign that crypto currency has gone viral world over although, internet connectivity particularly in some rural community is one the challenge.
Cryptocurrencies are really spreading more widely and also we can see that there now are a lot of similar sites to remitando which offer cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets where more and more peoples are joining into now. I think, the peoples with lower economy counties should really join the crypto world because the profits for them would really be vast as their local fiat currency can have lower value as compared to dollar.

The crypto markets are in the ascending manner so each coin we invest into can be expected to have a pump ahead in the upcoming markets as there would surely be a lot price hike ahead.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: which way bitcoin price going? on: March 30, 2019, 08:54:28 PM
Bitcoin is not going to become rock solid in the near future because it is too speculative in this period of its lifecycle. We now see money flowing into altcoins and thus Bitcoin is kinda being starved. It naturally leads to thinner orderbooks but that, in turn, means Bitcoin is more susceptible to sudden dumps and pumps as there is less liquidity in the market and consequently, it takes less financial leverage to move the price in either direction
I don’t think there is any guarantee that most of the altcoins they are throwing money into that is presently making bitcoin stagnant will  last the way bitcoin has lasted, so many altcoins will still come up in the future that will push these existing ones aside or make them irrelevant for life, and many people that are fully aware of  this knows that Bitcoin is the only one with the product that will last for life, so what they will do is to make Bitcoin an asset to hold for long, while altcoins will just be strictly for investment or trading, as people hold it for asset, we will be seeing some increase in price with lots of stability.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luck is the opposite on: March 22, 2019, 08:32:54 PM
Now getting profit is very difficult. And luck is needed now. Maybe more learning and learning coin sales charts. However, today the market looks very positive because the price of coins is slowly rising. Maybe you can start trading today.
Had luck been instrumental in making things good, the lucks of all the crypto guys combined would have keep no doubt made the market very very bullish.

But, that is not happening which means that external real market forces will do that. You can still trade with profits if your initial cost of investment is low. In addition, you can wait and hodl your coins if you are not able to make money in trading. The market is expected to rise so better keep your fingers crossed.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto market is volatile on: March 21, 2019, 05:25:52 PM
Hey, I have some moderate experience over this crypto world. Why the market is extensively volatile. Alike traditional market does crypto too impacted of many major changes.
The current cryptocurrency is still not accepted by most people. As the global economic market changes, the financial market will change at any time, and cryptocurrencies are among them.
According to an article on cointelegraph.com, another reason that can make the market volatile is herd mentality. Here is link to the article and it explains a lot on why Bitcoin is volatile - https://cointelegraph.com/news/why-is-the-cryptocurrency-market-so-volatile-expert-take/amp

I think there are lots of reasons as to why the cryptocurrency is volatile. The number one I will say is that it has no regulation. Having limited regulation makes it easy for people to manipulate the market to any direction. And another thing that makes it volatile is not having institutional capital, and this is caused by the fact that it is not being regulated and due to the manipulation. There are lots of reasons.

So, anyone that feels like they want to know why the price of cryptocurrency is volatile should go through the article, it teaches a lot of things and also says the possible for the volatility to be controlled.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major Crypto Exchange and Wallet Coinbase Adds Support for Stellar Lumens on: March 20, 2019, 09:32:44 AM
Wow, I haven't really took my time to check out what the project is all about but it has been hyped so much by companies that are well known in the crypto space, so I think it's a very good project with great potentials and might be the coin that will give us the lambo.

I actually got the airdrop from blockchain wallet and I am not ready to dump my coin now because I believe that this coin is going to give me my lambo before 2025, what do you guys think ?

For example those who got BCH in 2017 and not spending any of them till late 2018, might got another round of airdrop but in the form of BTCSV. This must be the power of holding and not-rushing to dump. Let's wait for few more months to years to study the actual power of holding! Cheesy
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Capitalization on: March 19, 2019, 06:09:02 AM
It is estimated that that the Cryptocurrency market capitalization went down to $200 billion from $800 billion that it was as at January 2018.
I believed it was due to the bearish market .
What I do not understand is while there is continuous growth of Cryptocurrency, people are picking interest and coming into the cryptosphere and yet the market capitalization is still not moving upwards.
What could be the challenge here?
I think you need to check the market capitalization again and actually see that the it has been increasing lately unlike the massive decrease we saw last years. The truth is that a lot of persons made a lot of profit due to the 2017 growth we experienced and they where all taking out profit in 2018 that's why the market capitalization fell drastically.

Though, market capitalization don't really determine the price of the coins on exchange because it is gotten based on the law of demand and supply according to economists.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: why do Banks ask for income source for bitcoin sold payment on: March 18, 2019, 12:42:04 PM
my cousin sold his bitcoin to a guy in Thailand and that person made direct payment to my cousins bank account in Singapore from his Thailand bank but now the bank in Singapore is asking my cousin to produce his income source and has freeze that transaction money in his account. my concern is does the bank have that authority to stop my cousin from taking money out from his account and give such reason or excuses ?
is there any legal solution ? is it possible to sue the bank ?

Just like what other posters have said, maybe something raised an alarm to the banks regarding the deposits that's why they have frozen yes. As far as I know they have the right to do it if anything suspicious regarding the originator or the receiver.

But I guess if you cooperate with banks and give them all the details then you can get back your money. No need to sue them, it will just complicate things. Talk to them and show proof that it's not a illegal or dirty money.
Of course, the limit alarm placed on the account must have been triggered as a result of the number of zeroes he must have received.

Take for example, in my country, I can only receive 25000 dollars in my domiciliary account per day and anything that makes me receive any amount more than that, the accounts has already been programmed to freeze the account temporarily especially if it is not a business account, so I have to proof the source of income by providing sales document, invoices of goods purchase and so on but in this case of Bitcoin, I really don’t know if the bank will really recognize it since majority of them still frown at cryptocurrency.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you hate the most about your current exchange? on: March 17, 2019, 08:41:41 PM
If you complain about higher transaction fees, there are some which doesn't ask more.

There is not much to complain about exchanges after all if you don't like the current one, you can move on to another exchange. The only thing you might complain to is a coin without much volume in an exchange where its listed. Its going to be the fault of the team or to the community of the project.
You might actually like a particular exchange for one thing, which will make it difficult for you to switch to another, and at the same time hate something about that choice of exchange that you wish you could have influence over and change, but since one voice does not matter in doing so, people’s opinion on a thread like this might point their attention to it and make them change it which will make it perfect.

If we keep dumping all exchange we are not pleased with for another, how then have we added any value to them other than using them as an exchange?

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A free-to-play game where you can earn crypto on: March 14, 2019, 09:27:02 PM
I think the concept of the game is a nice idea since users don't need to gamble to make money, but the part of paying $10 before one can make withdrawals is what scares me, I think the payment of $10 will discourage a lot of persons who wants to play the game and don't know if it's really a scam or actually a real platform.

You guys might have to build a lot of testimonies to bring trust by users. I think the best way is to come up with another method users can use to make withdrawal without having to pay $10.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: March 14, 2019, 05:33:18 AM
People are always ready to switch to any trend which offer convenience. Crypto as a form of payment offer convenience and security more than any other form of payment. The problem now is the governments. If the governments legalize crypto, crypto will see an exponential growth its adoption by both individuals and major businesses and companies.
The reality is that they will be left with no choice than to work with what is available and here if crypto is the available; it even makes it easier since Bitcoin is convenient and well secured payment method. It is now the job of the government to adopt and implement crypto as a payment method.

I would also like to make it clear that crypto is not the only form of payment needed to make a cashless society. A better digital /technology would be required of all countries to make cashless society a true reality
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Chain Faster than Ethereum & ERC20 tokens will move to Binance Chain on: March 13, 2019, 07:41:44 PM
It might be faster but also less decentralized at the start. Only 11 nodes, just like NEO.
This should be a chance for Ethereum to work on their own technology too and use the loop holes of BNB chain to better their own system because the way BNB chain is gaining popularity mate, its very alarming and it just a matter of time if care is not taken by Ethereum before people fully migrate from ECR 20 token to Binance chain and this might make ethereum experience great decline in the price of their coin since Binance is faster.

Talking about new, how is neo fairing because I just remembered I have some investment in NEO to now that you mentioned it.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks against the crypto on: March 13, 2019, 05:29:00 AM
Decentralization. Everyone is talking about it. Can cryptocurrency lead to the disappearance of banks. Or will banks be able to adjust and remain in power?
Banks can never be removed, cause they are being controlled by the government. If any country decides to starts making use of cryptocurrency, it will be issued out by their central banks. How it will start is that people will be asking to pay in the money they have into banks which will then be converted to cryptocurrency. That’s how I think it will work, but I’m not in support of that happening. I just prefer things as it is.

Generally speaking, Banks don't find Cryptos as investment. That's why they're against it, however, There's a much deeper reason to why they dislike it. Maybe Conflict of interest is a factor, who knows. Or maybe, They are not really against the cryptos itself but on the system. If crpytos are under centralized system then Banks won't have any issues with it.
How and where exactly did you guys get to learn that banks are afraid of Bitcoin? Lol this is funny. I don’t think that banks are afraid of it. And by the way, JP Morgan has its own cryptocurrency and I’m very sure that’s for their own benefit, it’s now a business and every big institutions wants to create cryptocurrency of their own and attract more investors with it. All they are doing is business.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading on: March 12, 2019, 07:20:33 PM
Definitely in the trade of cryptocurrency need information confirming that the project has a good prospect and will grow in the long term, so you need to have patience and discipline to consistently make a profit)
indeed, especially now to get a large profit from trade we must be patient to wait for the market to rise so that the coins traded increase in price. so to get a big profit it must be patient
Patience is the key to success in trading. Day trading is never meant for newbies who have just entered the markets.

Peoples should try to hold as much as possible rather than selling for a short term. Short term profits are quite low and the risk is always higher but for long term profits, we are at least secure and we know the future will show great prices for each coin as the markets will grow up. We can only have big profits if we are able to buy a coin at a exact dip and hold until the coin is onto the peak.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: March 12, 2019, 04:21:08 PM
I play dice and apply my own strategy. I just roll without expectation of result and so far it has worked out well.
Why do not you accept that nothing will happen even if you expect for a certain outcome? This is something that is fully dependent of the way and the force you put in to throw the dice. This is what physics says thereby defying the concept of luck.

There is 1/6th probability for any outcome you expect so the outcome that appears is always random. Your strategies works onward in how you play that outcome. It is a proven fact that you do not perform well if you are not mentally at ease and feel pressure.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Coins with huge ICO price on: March 11, 2019, 06:06:43 PM
Even today most icos are asking for too much money to try to develop their projects, satoshi did not asked anyone for money when he was developing bitcoin and he delivered a functional currency, most icos today do not even take the time to write their own white paper and do not have any new ideas to try to make the market to move forward, so paying any price other than zero for most coins is a mistake since you are paying too much for something that is not worth anything.
When most of them does not even have passion for whatever project they believe they are developing, a lot of them sees ICOs now as money making scheme and engage the innocent investors without having a brilliant ideas on how to move the project forward.

But, I fault investors that are gullible enough to commit their hard earned money because I don’t think someone that suffered to get his or her money would open his eyes wide without studying a project and researching on them very well before investing.
