In this age, after the fall of MT. Gox, we had knew that altcoin became weaker than before. New coin need strong community and big support from member. Why you not using SCRYPT or JANE, instead SHA256 ? SHA256 ASIC mean not wide spread people using it, so It's only a few person that have extra money who owned it. Scrypt with all variant mean everybody can join and contribute for this coin.
The worst thing, when price rising. Then some people with an extra superior hardware like Knc Saturn or Jupiter, will mine and coin mining difficult rise significantly. Then they immediately dump their coin. Multipool effect.
Trims.

Hi I have a problem and need some assistance. I transferred all of my FLAP to cryptsy and sent it to the wrong address and now I dont know how to get the coins back ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) I did check the block chain and see that the transaction hasnt been accepted as yet, is there any way for me to get the coins back to my wallet. The address that I sent the coins to is for FLO and doesnt seem to be in use, or atleast it belongs to me on Cryptsy. Please help me. Far as i'm aware nothing you can do if you sent them off to a wrong address. Hope i'm wrong. I hope that they can be recovered, I sent the coins to an invalid address, and the transaction hasnt been accepted as yet, thats why I am hoping I can recover them. Its not a huge amount but it took me some time to mine them, its +-500k FLAP ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) Wrong address = Lost. Luck factor, if wrong address owner return your coin.

What a big support for New Coin. It 's not 1 or 2 years old. But only 3 weeks old. I've never seen this before. Fanaticsm community, Serious Dev's, I think he is not new Dev's, he is old guy in crypto.
Proud to bring My 50 Mh to Flappy hashrate. I 'll keep it for this coin, no matter the prices will fall or rise.
Thanks.
newbie with 50 mhs? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) good lord Haha, some people start with a single GPU/ASIC, others build a farm and then want to get more involved in the community. Both are fine; we are glad you are interested in FLAP. A lot of us see the potential it has in becoming the crypto of choice for in-app purchases / for mobile games. I 'm not interest with ASIC scrypt. It's only single purpose, and long end ROI. another reason, ASIC hard to buy in My country. I 've been using my old 7950, 19.5 MH. and the Race Master 290, 31.5 MH.

I am using PeterL calculating. I change Thread Concurrency. Shader multiply by 8. So, 2560 x 8 = 20480, Same Intensity, same gpu hardware config. and no gpu-powertune.
For 1 hours, It seems more stable, The lowest hashrate goes low min= 700 KH, goes Up max 1.01 MH. I' ll watch it, and report soon.

It's seem happen to me. I got HIS R 290 (non X) last monday. It has 2560 shader, viewed by GPUz. I spent last 3 days for tweaking and setting. 1st day i got 885 Khs, with --thread concurrency 32765 --gpu-engine 975 --gpu-memclock 1500 -I 20. It's rock and stable. This card got 99,000 shared, WITHOUT Reject or stale. It has 70 C, and Fan only 65%. You know in my country ( Indonesia ), It's pretty warm here. Ambient always @ 33-36 C. My 7950 and R 280x always rise up to 78 C, tough I 've undervolted them, 7950@0.965v, R280x @1.146v. But the problem was occur. In my pool, hashrate goes up and down like a crazy. The lowest = 319 Kh, The Highest = 1.310 Mh. Wide different, isn't it ? Try to powertune +20, +30. there was no effect. The effect only it will rise my electricity for 70w for powertune +30. And temperature will rise 80 C <. 2nd day until now, I try lower intensity, lowering Thread concurrency, trying downclock, update BIOS with the other brand. (ASUS, Sapphire, etc), but it still no good side, rather than lowered hashrate @ 770 Khash. This R9 290 nice card, for performance and wattage. But for pool hashrate instability, it's still became our research. Thanks for this great forum.

I found a block when it should have taken me over 300 days, so it is possible.
Somebody wins the lottery, so it is possible to win, but that doesn't make it a worthwhile investment. Just because you won the bitcoin lottery, doesn't mean that I am likely to win. Anyway, the amount you earn from mining in a pool is expected to be about the same amount that you will earn mining solo. It is a mistake to believe that if you earn 0.00000123 mining in a pool, that you can earn more mining solo. The fact is that if you mine 0.00000123 BTC in a day, then the chance of finding a block each day is 0.00000123/25, or about 1 in 20 million. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX5jNnDMfxASeems like finding a bug, in the jungle. Too small chance

Altough BTC become very popular today, it's hard to get BTC from USD and more difficult to get BTC from CC.
