I'm finaly back for some updates : my testing mobo went dead and fortunately i finaly received the asus B250 (ordered like last year Wink

Odd...how much did you overclock?

Paste OverdriveNtool.ini or your settings for memclock etc.

nothing extreme as I said 16 others works just fine !

Your memory OC is probably too high for this specific GPU.  Dial it back to 935 and see if it hashes without failure then work your way up slowly.

thanks it was exactly the issue !!! I lowered the mem clock to 1050 and it's just smooth and stable !! Thanks a lot it was almost rma state Smiley

I managed to install another vega 56, this one, with a damaged cpu crystal !! but still getting 1900h/s when a litle bit overlocked goes up to 2100h/s  Huh Huh but not for long and just get stucked. But stil happy that it works.

Thank you very much the issue is solved.

Happy new year

Hate to ask this, but I'm assuming you already did DDU, reinstalled drivers, tried a different PCI slot.

My guess is the card is suspect. Can you isolate this card on another system by itself to see if the issue carries over?

yeah man did everything Smiley on a clean install + updates + ddu + blockhain drivers + alone on the main pcie Wink

results

CAST XMR = 100% rejected
Claymore AMD GPU = overclocked warning each and single line
Claymore ETH = 100 % accepted at 44mh/s

how strage is this ?  Huh

it's 50/50

gpu0 100% accepted  Cool
gpu1 100% rejected  Huh

Why aren't you asking about this in the EXISTING Cast XMR support thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2256917.1280

because I don't think this is a miner issue as far as non of others gpu does something even close to 100% rejected shares as this one does and using Claymore AMD CryptoNote GPU too.

But it doesn't with claymore for Etherum Smiley That's the weird part of the story. I've got a consitent 44 Mh/s and shares are accepted on both gpu (testing mining rig) with Claymore Dual v10 !

thanks for the tip and replies

I will

if you are using port 14443 on cast, change this to 14444. Cast dont` suport ssl .

thanks man but it's already 14444 :"cast_xmr-vega -S xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14444 "

no I never tried, I'll right now by the way just to check how it goes.

Forgot to mention with CASTXMR - the error message : invalid result computation failed

and with Claymore AMD v11 :

but it doesn't reject shares

regards

Hello miners and Happy New Year !

I decided to start a topic as I couldn't even imagine the keywords for such issue. Very very weird

I've got a brand new RX VEGA 64 - SAPPHIRE ED. And it simply refuse to mine "calculate" monero shares. I've tried XMRCAST, Claymore AMD GPU miner. It just refuses.

But no issues with ETH on Claymore Dual v10. Not a single one !

I have 16 of them and only one single card does it.

What was tried :

-with or without risers
-different risers, mobo brands
-stockclock / overclock-undervolting
-tried to flash uefi but it sais to be same

If you 've got any idea it is totaly wellcome.

One small tiny stuff though : it was sold as a brand new buy a huge online french reseller but when i powered it the LEDs were switched to blue while by default its red. A bricked gpu by a "former user" ?

Thank you a lot for your attention

Very best wishes for the next year

and Great Mining
