2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Blockchain.info getting my BCH legacy wallet to new wallet sweep. on: July 19, 2018, 12:35:49 PM
Hello everyone I have a problem, can anyone help?

I used to have a legacy blockchain.info wallet which had BTC in there.

I used 17 word phrase to restore my password to this account after blockchain was updated to the new wallet.

Upon logging into my account blockchain moved my funds into a new wallet but this new wallet doesnt contain my BCH.

I have asked support any they say they cannot get access to the old account.  So tell me how they were able to transfer the BTC from one wallet to the other?

I can still see the BCH in the old legacy address for blockchain but when I log into the account and look at archived addresses this address is not here.

They swept the BTC funds from there into the new one, but did not transfer my BCH.

Any ideas?

Sorry guys, been making a lot of updates and improvements to the site so decided to take it down. Hence the 502.

I think it was best to do this as the site is more stable and has more features now.

We have added the first question on there now, if you answer the question you will be in with a chance of winning the Bitcoin.

Thanks.

qbitty team.

Signature campaigns are obviously the most successful way to make money here.

However, there are many ways to earn Bitcoin which aren't linked to the forum.

Here are a few ways off the top of my head.

Trading (Requries Bitcoin to start)

Bitcoin Faucets (Free to start)

Gambling (Requries Bitcoin to start)

Sites like primedice and satoshi bet allow you to gamble your existing Bitcoins to try to gain more.  Very risky, ant often not worth it.

Working for Bitcoin (Free to start)

In my humble opinion i dont think that gambling is one of best way to earn bitcoin,It doesn't matter how much you start with, you will always end up at zero. As we know that gambling is a risky way for the player, but you know this is the the fastest way for the gambling owner to make much bitcoin.

I guess you are right, Ive never had any success with gambling. Always lost.

Signature campaigns are obviously the most successful way to make bitcoin here on this forum.

However, there are many ways to earn Bitcoin which aren't linked to the forum.

Here are a few ways off the top of my head.

Trading (Requries Bitcoin to start)

You can activly buy and sell Bitcoin at Bitcoin exchanges, buy low and sell high is the key.  High risk, but often high rewards.

Bitcoin Faucets (Free to start)

Bitcoin faucets release free Bitcoin each day or hour, it depends on the faucet.  You can gain Bitcoin by doing this, but they pay very low.

Gambling (Requries Bitcoin to start)

Sites like primedice and satoshi bet allow you to gamble your existing Bitcoins to try to gain more.  Very risky, ant often not worth it.

Working for Bitcoin (Free to start)

There are now websites which you can use to earn Bitcoin by doing freelance work.  See my signature (cryptogrind) for a link to a fiverr like website where you can list services in exchange for Bitcoin.

There are many other ways to earn Bitcoin, but these are just a few.

Hope that helps.

Anywhere that takes traditional VISA card payments should take Bitcoin too!
13  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Verifying a signed message *without* a Bitcoin client installed? on: October 16, 2015, 11:50:17 AM
I'd use bitcore.io to do this.

http://bitcore.io/api/transaction/transaction.html#Transaction#verifySignature

Javascript framework can be installed locally or using node.js.

Hope this helps.

Something similar to Fiverr or even Seoclerks would be brilliant for a website to be able to work for others in exchange for bitcoins. I myself have been looking for something similar for a while and everything I find is either not busy enough to warrant bothering with or it does not look too professional and may be worth staying away from.

Bump, sorry for the major Bump.  But couldn't help notice this comment.

We have implemented such a solution at www.cryptogrind.com which offers multi-signature escrow on every order.

Security is also unrivalled on our site as we use technology which accesses the blockchain directly without use of hot wallets,  basically we never store your bitcoins or private keys in any wallet or database.

You can checkout the services page here, which is now gaining traction:  We have only been live now for a month and we have had a few escrows successfully complete through our platform.

https://www.cryptogrind.com/#!/services

Listing services is free and you can list as many as you like.

More information about the services platform can be found here:

http://blog.cryptogrind.com/cryptogrind-services-platform/

We have really spent time on making it the most user friendly and secure platform for our users and welcome any questions.

Thanks.

Bump!

C'mon guys don't be scared! We'd like to know what you think of our platform.

Why not try us out? Its FREE.

We have now implemented a new services platform where you can sell micro services in exchange for Bitcoin.

We like to think of it as similar to Fiverr but using Bitcoins.

You can post your service, and users on cryptogrind can easily order them at which point an automatic Multi-signature escrow is created between you both.  At cryptogrind the seller and the freelancer are always protected.

This simple infographic explains the process:

We never store your Bitcoins or Private Keys, as we access the blockchain directly, thus making using Bitcoin at cryptogrind extremely secure

We pride ourselves on being the most user friendly and intuitive freelancing platform for Bitcoin freelancing.

Hey guys, how's things?

Cryptogrind has been under some heavy updates.  And we are pleased to announce our services platform.

Think if it as Fiverr with Multi-Signature Escrow.  You can add as many services as you like, and employers can order them for a set price.

For example you can post something like:

"I will create you an awesome logo" and charge $10.  An employer can then order this service, and Cryptogrind will create a work room and automatic multi-sig escrow for the order.

Why not check it out?

Here are some example services so you can get an idea of how it works.

www.cryptogrind.com/#!/services

Posting servies and registration at cryptogrind is free, if you have any friends who would like to earn bitcoins, let them know.

Thanks.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your bitcoins ? on: September 29, 2015, 11:49:31 AM
I personally use a mixture of Greenaddress and Coldstorage.

I was considering creating my own Multisig address to store however.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: September 29, 2015, 09:19:57 AM
My girlfriend knows what Bitcoin is, but thinks it's too complicated for the average person, hence doesn't use it.  But she does think it's a cool concept.
