Edit. Wow, Don't know if he's adding insult to injury or what but he sent me .60 AUD unclaimed (I can confirm or deny it)...wtf
i'd try opening a dispute either way. mention you arent the only one this happened to and hope for the best. someone ban this scammer. |

paypal wont do a thing, ive dealt with them before like this, its impossible to get money back unless you paid with a credit card. i did pay with a credit card. how does that change things? |

i paid him as well and he stopped responding as soon as he got the cash. supposedly it didnt "clear," but usually when i send people payments via paypal it clears instantly

the network has been very slow recently and the last update seems to have problems connecting. leave the client open for a long while and once the entire blockchain downloads u should then receive ur btc's
ok i now have 113094 blocks, 2 connections, and 0 transactions now, but still havent gotten the coins. I restarted the program and enabled generate coins. is there anything else i should do? |

Like I said in another thread, calm down. Fearmongering isn't what we need. Explanations into why you shouldn't use paypal and other available options would be far more helpful. paypal is by far the most easy and convenient method for me and i would be glad to send the money as a "gift" so a chargeback is impossible. If somebody would do a deal with me you would see right away that i'm legit. Also if my price per bitcoin seems to be too low please PM me with how much you want per bitcoin. |

i just downloaded the bitcoin wallet app and everything seemed to work fine until i had someone send me bitcoins. As soon someone sent me some bitcoins I received "2500 blocks," but i still have zero connections, zero transactions, and my wallet balance is zero. probably a noob question, but I just want to make sure nothing's wrong. when should my balance update?
