1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: 1.7TH/s SP20 WON! [4800 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: January 14, 2015, 11:25:31 PM
Yep - had the same problem as yesterday - again no issue, the block itself got out fine and you can see it on blockchain - but still awaiting a confirm.
... and confirmed Smiley
- note that the stats will read 1% below what they really are until we find the next block
(same as yesterday, except I flagged it about 1% after it happened this time)
... and I updated the thread title Smiley
You can change the thread title now don't you reckon.
The winner has won it and moved his hashpower elsewhere it seems.

Still wondering if youre gonna get some sort of Share stats that we the miners can see as opposed to you the pool runner.
I guess it might not be on your high priority "To do list" eh.

Im sure you will really notice the extra Hashing power.

Im interested in how long you hang around on this pool now you've got the extra to add to all your mining gear you already have.
Either way, now that the prize has gone, back to normal. Wonder if the pool is going to fix some basics that have been asked by numerous users for quite a while.
eg expected payout
eg payout / share history available to miners, not just pool operator etc.

It's no big secret. I joined after the Spondoolies-Tech announcement with one  SP20 miner. This was my first SP20, and I paid for it 1350 USD with shipping

Yesterday morning I added
6x NEPTUNE
12 Ant S5
10 SP20E

I just felt that I need to win Wink

Had a chance to win one of the twelve.

Happy you could add to your mining farm at the expense of the pool which im sure has already paid for it.
Cheers.

Thank you!

Congrats and good on you winning this pools prize and how you are now able to add the extra SP20 to your,
6x Neptune
11x SP20
12x Antminer S5

Im sure you will really notice the extra Hashing power to your already substantial rig setup.

Im interested in how long the winner SP20Winner hangs around on this pool.

When is Kano/ the pool going to fix some basics that have been asked by numerous users for quite a while.
eg expected payout
eg payout / share history available to miners, not just pool operator etc.
eg longer times before user logon needs logging back in. eg, make it 24hrs like a lot of other pools.

I cant see the expected payout on the webpage.
Not that it gave a very accurate indication of what to expect anyway, but it was better than nothing.
Is that something that is being worked on at the moment?

And Merry Christmas to all as well.

332679 payout sent and confirmed - slight delay coz I was out cold under a scalpel when it matured Smiley
Sent you a PM ref last payout.

Hope your all good after being under the knife.
Just my hand - nothing major Smiley
Depends if your a southpaw or an orthodox, and then if you can update script with your good hand only or even better still, if you can type with your toes like some extraordinary people out there can.   Smiley

Just pointed my miners back to the pool, hope we don't see any more blood red blocks.

Throwing more at it should be in 3rd place here shortly.

When it said "Shares: 78,256,842,535 (197.60%)" - What is the maximum it could ever get to? Could we be in the block winter for days more? Or are we getting close on the zero luck factor?

Thanks

in theory and terrible luck you could go to 50x even 100x what we have done.

Simple conception grab a pair of  dice think snake eyes  or 1 + 1     the diff factor is  36  so  how many times can you toss those dice without tossing snake eyes

72, 80, 100, 200 ,300, or even 1000 times?

so in our case diff is 39xxx and we tossed 78xxx
So what you are trying to say is that we should have got snakeyes a lot sooner eh, if our roll of the dice was totally honest.

Well, its been to 87,893,894,190 221.93% so who knows.

But the hrs is up to 69, time for it to turn around I reckon.  Smiley

I have to say that i appreciate the big hitters, ANTPOWER, MELANCON, LIGHTSWORD and FLS for keeping the faith and staying with this pool. Without the big hashers, we may still be floundering in the water.

Yes, I appreciate the top 10.  Especially, the top 4 in the Stats as well.

And yes, I appreciate Kano and CK putting this all together.  I sure as hell couldn't do it.  I would be concerned with how to war off attacks if any should happen.  That's mainly what keeps me from wanting to ever try it.  It takes a hack to beat a hack.
All good mate, get some sleep, this will all still be here in the morning when you wake up.
Cheers.

Last 15 Blocks all under 100%, most under 20%.  Gotta love the colour coding Smiley

I have to say that i appreciate the big hitters, ANTPOWER, MELANCON, LIGHTSWORD and FLS for keeping the faith and staying with this pool. Without the big hashers, we may still be floundering in the water.

Im guessing that you all also appreciate that it is being run by probably the most knowledgeable bitcoin experts out there who have put together an excellent, transparent (honest) pool and I am also grateful and appreciative of all the efforts.

As a long time reader of Bitcointalk, its also great to see a lot of those that have been mining for a while come over here and add the hashpower to what I think is going to be one of the biggest and most honestly run pools out there. Ive only got 2 x S3s pointing here, but it all adds up eh.

Anyway, lets hope the good times keep rollin.

P.S. if Con or Kano come to Canberra, the beers will be on me.  Smiley

i hope this question hasn't already been asked and answered, but I was unable to find an answer when I skimmed through this thread. How do the payouts work in this pool? I see my "Payout est if block found at 100%: ~0.04854747 BTC" on my workers page, but I don't see any stats as far as what I have earned so far? Are payouts set at a certain bitcoin amount or are they daily or what?   I pointed my S4 and my S3 to this pool about 10 hours ago or so (basically i started mining just before the pool found its penultimate block, the ultimate one being the one it just solved about 20 minutes ago.)
Once the blocks found have 100 confirms, then Kano will do a manual payout for whatever shares you submitted for those blocks.
So far, he's been on the ball fairly quickly and payouts have been done without any problems. It would be good if they were auto payout, but the manual system seems to be working fine.
14  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1350 TH] CKPool (www.kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: November 14, 2014, 05:31:31 AM
yeah... another block found 329931
nice...
Lets hope a few more hit with the bright green colour on the blocks page, much better than those dark colours even though any colour is good in my book. Smiley

You know what, I just realized I said IE 10 when I meant Windows 10.

That's all Win 10 is right now, a developer preview.

M

haha all good, lets not clog up the most awesome pools thread with windows debates Wink

Bring on the next block I say Smiley
There you go mate, all you had to do was ask. Block 329482 WOOHOO!!!
17  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1200 TH] CKPool (www.kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: November 11, 2014, 12:14:54 AM
9 Blocks with an average of 23.3%, WOW !!!

 the  math is impressive
the pool was about 1.1 ph for that time

if you count from nov 7 2014  block 328952

up to this block it  is 9 blocks in 3.5 days

9 blocks should take 16 days not 3.5 days

Lets hope the good luck just keeps rollin eh.

Doesn't hurt that BTC price is moving up as well.  Around $425 AUD now. Keep goin up you good thing.

No, the last block took about 35hrs. There was 7 blocks over about 4 days though. The one before that took about 4 1/2 days.
ah yeah that's true. it just feels like 7 in 24 hours haha

actually we did 7 in 27 1/2 hours first of the 7 was block made 2014-11-07 06:44am  last of the 7 was 2014-11-08  10:18 am
see below

Depends which way you look at it.

The block at 2014-11-07 06:44am took about 4 1/2 days .. actuallly

Either way, not bad for only 1.2Ph.
