1  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Scanning Transaction History is taking longer than usual. on: December 14, 2013, 01:48:17 AM
On another note!

I've recently had to purchase a new HDD because my old one failed basically and now I've been trying to get Armory 0.9 beta to install/work appropriately and it doesn't seem to be happening. I downloaded Bitcoin Qt, let the blockchain download, etc etc and now when I run Armory, it crashes as soon as it begins to "Build Databases and Scan". Like a window comes up and says that Armory has quit working properly. I have searched for a fix, but haven't found anything that seems to work. I can start the TestNet and it works alright I think, but nothing else.

I just would like to eventually import my backups and have my few btc again lol

Edit:

I believe I may have found the problem..but what should I do about it? I've tried reinstalling tons of times.

"LevelDB Error: Corruption 2 missing files; e.g.:C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Armory\databases/leveldb_headers/000157.sst"

I work for bitinvader.com and bitcoin black friday has been quite disappointing so far, so we are extending our sales until Monday! Enjoy before its too late!!!!

bitinvader.com

Hello! I haven't received a confirmation email verifying that my btc payment was received successfully and so I was hoping you could help in confirming that Order #447 is being processed. I sent an email to admin@bitinvader.com, but no response yet. Thanks!

We have not received your payment yet, it might still be awaiting confirmation. We have also not received any email with your order number, sorry. Please email us again.

I attempted to send an email and the email address provided on the website doesn't seem to work at all. Is it a faulty email address? Also, I checked blockchain.info with the receive address provided at checkout and YES, the transaction currently has 100 confirmations to this address 1PWXqXpz59RScHvGaBtPyi78jB9sutH6vu AND the balance of 0.33216783 has been transfered to another address. If you're scamming, just say it so I can move on with my life.

We are not scamming anyone. I was looking at our payment processing system and your transaction was noted as being on hold. Our email is working properly, we have replied to other people who have successfully ordered from us. Please verify that you are using the proper email address or pm me your email address. Order #447 is now being processed by our system, people seem to be placing lots of blank orders with no payment and this has been slowing our procedures, sorry about that. I'll try to throw in a freebie with your order if possible Smiley

Oh man, you're really going to have to do better than that to prove to me that this site is legitimate. My email address was provided when I made the order so you should have access to it from the invoice sent from this email address (admin@bitcoins.brosnetwork.co.uk) after I placed the order last night. Everything screams scammer, so I would suggest providing me with proof through your channels that I haven't had my BTC stolen. If you're a legitimate business, then there should be a way for you to access all the necessary info by simply knowing my order number.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Deutsche eMark - DEM - altcoin SHA256 POS/POW on: November 19, 2013, 11:22:25 PM
Is it possible to solo mine DEM on a program like multiminer? I set up the conf and everything necessary and the program reflects that my BE's are mining according to the solomine parameters, but I just don't know if everything is actually working. If I find a block, I'll know, but I'm just curious.

If it sounds dead then dead it is

I knew I should've just mined Shitcoin.

As I count down the minutes to my first 100,000 QBT, I've been reflecting on the fact that we still don't have any idea where this coin is going to go..if anywhere. So I'll probably be turning my miner to other coins soon, just so I can see a little more of a return Tongue
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] "Cubits" V2 (QBT) Sha256D POW on: November 05, 2013, 03:13:20 PM
Yes, please do! I got game keys I'd like to sell for QBT, but only after I see some much needed reform come to it.  Wink
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] "Cubits" V2 (QBT) Sha256D POW on: November 05, 2013, 03:59:01 AM
Is anyone interested in making their first QBT purchase? I have a steam key and some origin keys for a few games that'll never end up selling on Bitmit. I've tried and it's just too populated with competing offers. I don't particularly care what I sell one for since they're all worth around $5 and I purchased them through the Humble Bundle sale with BTC. Ntm that I already have these games lol just have extra keys now.

Let me know if anyone is interested or if this an inappropriate way to go about this..I am a n00b of sorts.

EDIT: Delayed until QBT has whatever reforms made to it that are necessary.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] "Cubits" V2 (QBT) Sha256D POW on: November 05, 2013, 03:18:27 AM
sounds like a lot of you folks has plenty of coins Smiley

I don't have as much as some since I know my hashrate isn't anything too large (+/- 4.2 GH/s), but I'll never forget this past summer when I was still scouring the forums for the newest scrypt altcoins and came across Realcoin. Now I didn't think too much of it, ya know I only had the little 7950 in my pc to mine with, but over the course of a month I mined/bought up to around 200,000 of those suckers. I ended going home for a month and forgetting about them completely...only to return and see that I had like 3.5 - 4 BTC worth of Realcoins out of nowhere! It was probably as happy as I've been since the lead-up to the April bubble when I was mining Litecoin with the same GPU and ended up with a few hundred dollars before the crash. Only to have that money disappear the day of the crash. Lolol

So I basically believe anything is possible now. I might not be an "early-adopter" as far as BTC is concerned and I may have missed the boat on every piece of mining tech out there, but I still I have hope that my little mining hobby will bring me a few welcome surprises.

1 QBT = 0.001105 BTC Smiley

Any idea about the possible price?

I hope that quickly comes true! Shocked
lol I would personally donate 2 BTC to Cassie if that came true  Wink

Hell, I'd donate more than that! Actually, I'd probably faint from excitement first and then immediately donate to everyone behind this altcoin.

Is there a Cubits exchange yet? I'm curious to see where the price sits!

Looks like coinbase has jumped on the bandwagon, ios app for them as well.

C'mon Electrum!  Smiley

Mannn, the Coinbase app would be even better if they wouldn't have taken away our ability to get Instant Transfers with just an identity verification. Now, as I'm sure most know, you have to have a damn credit card! Ugh..oh well..

It seems so hard for me to determine whether any of the Altcoins will ever become truly worth mining or worth owning in general. Now I did witness Litecoin make its climb earlier this year and I did make my early, yet tiny profits from mining Litecoins with my 7950 and buying them also, but I just can't tell what is speculative "pump and dump" and what's not. It's like, I've heard across the forums and websites that PPC could be "the next Litecoin" and how it how has certain special characteristics, such as being a proof of stake coin, which "will" make it profitable...but will it? Is it all just speculation? On the other hand though, I've also read that cryptocurrencies in general are the future, not just Bitcoin, and that, in and of itself, will make most of them worth something.
